The Demon Comes to Collect! Konoha’s Best Interest

Opportunity so rarely comes to those who sit back and wait.  In truth, to gain an opportunity one must often seize it, luck being the dying wish of the unsuccessful.  In truth, he’d been supposed to meet up with Youka, test the village themselves.  Wade through the waters of the possibilities of what could happen.  Yet, his own indecision had prevented this reasonable course of action.  Despite what Youka said and acted, he was still weak.  A feeble man clutching at the remnants of what he may have once been.  He didn’t have the heart to tell him this of course, rather he enjoyed Youka thinking slaying a couple wayward mercenaries was something to be proud of, something to remind him of the old days.  

Still, those days were gone.  It was better for him to test the waters by himself, to find out what was truly happening.  To test the mettle of a place.  With that, he was making his own attempt in towards the village.  His chakra having not only been reduced to that of a normal civilian, but his signature scrambled by way of his Takigakure armor.  Black hair pulled back, his headband currently resting in a weapons pouch.  Not wanting to display a different nations metal, and rather to keep it in the event he required proof of what his falsified documents already stated.  

The Konoha gates were indeed busy, and getting busier.  There had been some sort of commotion, but in truth the matters of such things were unimportant, or so he initially thought.   The strange man and little girl had appeared some 40 meters from where he stood in line to get his documents read, causing a stir and all entry checks to halt as the guards appeared confused, unsure of what to do.  The second commotion had been that of a strict women and a young man joining them.  Again, it had vaguely caught his interest, but…..he was searching for opportunity.  

It wasn’t until two men had retrieved a scroll and had returned that his interest had peaked.  He finally listened to the whispers of those around him stating that the Hokage had arrived and was speaking with a stranger, the one that had caused the guards such confusion.  He only knew what had occurred, but not the voices or the specific actions of the men involved.  The fact was the stranger had caused confusion in the guards, and the hokage had arrived on the scene, potentially buying off freedom, settling a debt, or one of any other actions that he could not know of.  From his position he stood slightly behind where the young hokage would be able to see, around his 5 o clock directionally given they had walked out to meet the stranger.  Biting his lower lip he’d see the man step forward reaching out and grabbing a scroll.  Behind violet contacts his eyes would change, if they could have been seen a similar shade of purple with black lines.  With it, he stared and could see the natural energy of one man, and merely a possible accumulation though he was not educated on it in that of the other thanks to his visual prowess.  

He had but a moment to decide what to do…..and in that moment his decision was made.  Opportunity was a rare thing, and a Kage freely stepping out of the gate was exactly that.  How else could one test the mettle of a place.

At the same time the negotiator looked at his daughter to turn, Maku would begin making several movements, still at the same distance away, mixed in with the various other individuals around him.  The line had stretched back, and in his desire to gauge the place he had been in no rush, not like now.  His existence seemed to glitch, as his form became more difficult to discern who he was, the faces of different reality in a constant shuffle.  He moved at his maximum speed and with peak efficiency of one well practiced in combat, already starting to lean down.

His left hand moved through the seals of the ninjutsu amplifier the five seals of tiger-boar-dog-dragon-rat and as they finished ten orbs appeared around him encircling his body, his hand being close to his chest while all eyes were on the other conversation would go unseen.  As these orbs formed his right hand would touch the ground, the summoning jutsu activating.  10 meters in front of him a mountain of an abomination would appear, where as on his left shoulder a smaller almost tadpole looking creature would appear.  Quickly his instructions were sent, and the two beasts obeyed.  

While they followed orders his own hands would continue.  His left moving through a further 6 seals, while his right began the motions of 6 different seals, though tailoring for his left hand to finish first so that the space time amplification could be applied.  As it finished his right hand would make sure to finish just after the left.  Forming the seal of confrontation, and then the world would seem to explode with hundreds of toads, each as monsterous and putrid as the last, their croaking loud drowning out most noise.  They would be surrounding him, reaching out but having been summoned 10 meters from where the hokage and the other man had been.  They did not trample or harm any of the current civilians, or gate guards.  Instead they seemed to shuffle and push them, keeping them from escaping but doing no true harm, as of yet.  An attack on them or in the direction though without clear precision would surely cause leaf casualties.  They moved forward from Maku 20 while some where behind him by 4 meters and a further 4 meters to each side, fanning forward.

While Maku had been doing this last summoning the creatures he had called had been in action at the same time, no time waisted all layered.  Doku had appeared on his left shoulder, and had started weaving seals of his own after he seemed to become more of a monster.  He’d move through the fuin amp jutsu and then place the spellbinders seal on himself.  He’d then partially merge into Maku’s head, his arms free and the seal emblazoned on his forehead where he had placed it.  His head on top  of Maku’s as though he wore a strange toad hat, focusing on his other task as battery for nature energy.  

At the same time as Doku and Maku performing their works Zoku made his move.  Crush the hokage, and only the hokage.  Luckily his recent time in helping Zoku find his lost toy helped in his current listening ability, though it was hard to tell how long that would last.  The beast with its massive size would not have far to go, Maku being 40 meters back from the men, Zoku summoned ten meters forward so as to obscure the vision, he’d roar as his form became even more monsterous, he’d make five motions at maximum speed before crashing like thunder as he moved forward.  If not stopped he would crash into the location of where the Kage was attempting to squash him with all his strength.  

The wild hunt toads had made no movement towards the Kage  as of yet, and Zoku was only focused on the hokage.  If the other man made no movements or didn’t continue his original attempted escape it was possible he too would be harmed, though it was not his intention.  It was obvious who the target was, it was his decision to make a clean escape or get mixed up in all this.  Instead the toads both small and large causing excessive chaos.

Maku would watch from the crowd, a toad moving underneath him so as to spirit him away in a direction should he need it, orbs moving around him.  Eyes focused.

Ishimaru Shinkou:

The hand-off seemed to have went off without a hitch, the two exchanging a mutual glance at one another before seemingly trying to make their own way into the village. That was not the case however. Within the group of people trying to get into the village proper there had been one among them that was going to attempt the unthinkable and actually brazen attempt. While they had managed to stay unnoticed throughout the crowd, their first mistake was using a technique that was not contained. As the balls of black energy were formed, because they were not kept close to the form of their user they would begin to bump into those around them. The sad thing about such a technique was that it was only indiscriminate to its host. For those who had the unfortunate mistake of being brushed into them, it would cause a panic within the crowd which would in turn because to shove and disrupt the once calm nature of the crowd. People would begin to create a commotion and push around, and in turn begin to push around the one who would make such a mistake. Due to the error in his ways, the missing ninja would create a brief riot which would prevent his actions as far as reaching down to the ground in order to complete his summoning. It wouldn't be enough to stop him altogether, but the small delay in his actions would cause the Hokage to look over towards the commotion and act accordingly. Once the summon was competed and he could very well see the giant toad within the commotion, he acted without delay. Within seconds, the Meiton that filled his body would bolster and strengthen his form into heights untold. In the same vein his eyes would set upon a location 5.1 meters in front of the toad known as Zoku would begin a whimper of a flame 30 cm in size before erupting into a pillar of blackish blue flame expanding horizontally up to 25m radius and reaching up to 50m in the shape of a cylinder that would claim much of the toads body in flame.

As the flames roared into action to catch the toad off guard, Ishimaru would begin to form two sets of seals. After the completion of the first five seals, he would another seven while keeping tabs on the battle at large. From his left hand a black dragon would spawn from it, 5 meters and its head being a mere 50 cm larger than its head. The dragon would remain nestled on the arm, watching the battle, but ready to move at a moments notice. The onslaught would not stop there. From behind Ishimaru another form would sprint into action, rushing forward but not without knowing what he had been getting into . One of Konoha's best, the ANBU known only as Ryuza would head into battle without thinking twice. The man would move with such speed that he would be moving 10 meters out before the missing ninja could begin his seals for his amplification technique (Space-Time amplifier). As Ryuza moved, he would bolster his body with a technique known to him as the Soul Expulsion, covering his own body with an aura that extended 4 inches off of his body. At the same time, he would begin to whistle five distinct tunes before releasing a thin stream of fire in front of him, but not to the point where he would haphazardly run into it, 6 inches wide that would detach and form a 10 meter in diameter fireball that would launch itself toward the crowd and the missing ninja all the while. If he thought that innocent bystanders would stop them from protecting the Leaf and their leader? This would be the day that they found wrong. If the Fire from the Hokage would be coming from the front, the fireball would be coming from the right of the missing ninja. The combination of the two would cause the male to either forfeit his toad's life or his own due to the onslaught of attacks. Ryuza would keep his distance from the fireball, but stay within a 20 meter area of the crowd to make any last minute adjustments to stop any other attack from coming.

With the flames of battle started, Ishimaru would remain in his position, his yellow eyes watching over the battlefield and ready to make any adjustments if need be. He would remain quick on his feet and ready to counter any and all attacks that would come his way.

So far things had moved quickly and as he had anticipated.  Zoku made his movements and charged forward.  Be it from his own lack of intelligence or rash nature, he was willing to charge through the fire without regards to his own safety, only for the food that he perceived Infront of him.  His massive body blocking the flames from moving directly behind him, soaking through the damage he would finish his charge smashing into the Hokage dealing his full damage as he always had planned.  As this first strike was made, he would crush down again dealing another blow that likely would end the kage's life, or have him near his end.  The toad essentially overtop of him dealing his damage.

Two orbs would move forward in a defensive position ready to block any other attack that may have broken through providing back up to the seal that currently was overtop of him.    In the event anyone else intervened, the truth seeker orb would expand to its full size to block any oncoming attack.  His eyes with full chakra vision able to perceive such movements.  This would include the fire he could see,  or if he saw any other movements.  The orbs both 2 meters to his 2 o clock and 10 o clock respectively about at head hieght.  If he saw anything coming they would expand to their max size in the form of a wall to block such an attack causing it to harmlessly blow overtop or to the sides.   This defense would initiate as soon as the flames could be seen forming with his Rinnegan.  

As they could see Zoku making his strike Doku would activate the spellbinders seal covering both the man and toad in its protection to be safe in the event any attacks moved through.  At the same time, the toad beneath Maku would move him forward 5 meters at jutsu speed, the many toads around him all expanding to their maximum range in both an offensive and defensive position.  With the negotiator gone, they no longer seemed as timid, croaking madly they would move in, attacking the hokage in-between Zoku's own strikes crushing him beneath themselves and holding him down for the strikes, dealing their own damage.  

Maku would continue watching the carnage that took place with the toads.   His rinnegan keeping track of any accumulation of energies that he could.   If he notice the extinguishment of the boys chakra calling the attack off, prepared to make his leave of the place.
