What it does:

This technique is used to summon people or objects that have a connection to the user or have lent their services, such as:
  • Items present on the character's stat sheet.
  • User's Familiar(s).
  • Clones (temporary or living), Paths, reanimations, giant evil statues, and other special constructs already created by a separate technique of the user's.
  • Subjugated Bijuu, Summons, or Familiars ('subjugation' covered by other techniques, such as Sharingan: Genjutsu).
  • Allied characters*.

The user performs the handseals and places their palm on to the ground, whereupon the summon will appear at the point of contact or within ten meters. Summons may not appear within one meter of another character. Up to five things can be summoned at once, with each additional summon costing 20AP each.

For every 10 Chakra the user has above 50, they can perform this technique with one fewer hand seals. This caps at 100+ Chakra, where the user can perform this technique with only the Seal of Confrontation. If this technique is performed with only the Seal of Confrontation, the user does not have to touch the ground.

PCs (player characters) or registered NPCs (non-player characters) can be summoned only if they have granted their explicit permission, signed on a scroll in blood (much like an animal contract). They are subject to special rules, which can be lessened by mastery of this technique. By default only one character can be summoned at a time, they can only be summoned from within the same country as the summoner, and they cannot be summoned out of or into active combat situations. Characters can resist the summon if they have a Chakra stat higher than the power of this technique or if the summoner is below half of their maximum AP.

If the summoned character is currently in any topics, they automatically exit them when their turn to post comes (if they are in multiple threads, they only have to 'poof' from one - the rest can be normal exits so as to not disrupt the time-space continuum, but they are uninterruptible). They arrive with anything they have on themselves at the time, including incidental items they may be holding (but not other people or characters).  

This technique has three different mastery options, each of which take up a slot.
  1. Mastery in order to allow summons of up to five characters at once, with each additional summon costing 20AP each.
  2. Mastery in order to remove the same-country range limit, allowing character summoning from any location, including dimensions. If the target is sealed away or has been otherwise sent to a remote location via a technique, this technique must surpass the power of the original technique in order to summon them.
  3. Mastery in order to summon characters in or out of active combat situations.

If a character dies, the contract is considered void (meaning their corpse cannot be summoned after death unless accounted for in the summoner's inventory). If the contract scroll is destroyed, the contract is void.
