Appearance: Maneki stands ten centimeters tall and is small enough to fit in the palm of a person's hand. Maneki is relatively physically reminiscent of a typical house cat, aside from his diminutive stature and the fact that he usually stands on his hind legs. The light grey and white fur that coats his entire body is well-groomed and very soft. His eyes are bright blue, and his nose is pink. The familiar's tail is extremely long to the point that it is the length of his body, and his ears are floppy yet incredibly soft to the touch. Maneki wears a single golden hoop earring on his left ear, making his ear droop down. He can also occasionally be seen carrying around a miniaturized handbag that fits his small size perfectly.

Personality: Maneki is a gentle cat with a great appetite for food, especially in the mornings when he wakes up. Despite this, he usually reacts and acts very cold and sometimes even hostile with everyone besides those he is familiar with from the Hoshi forces.

Passive Abilities:

Instinct of Nineko: Maneki, being a cat, has inherent sensory abilities, able to sense anything within a 15-meter radius around himself passively, and can memorize the scents and chakra signatures of humans and other familiars/companions (for 2,000 WC each).

Float: Maneki's signature ability separates him from an average household cat. Maneki can fly around at his speed using his wind element for a maximum of 4 posts. This ability takes a lot of control and thus cannot be used indefinitely, coming with a cooldown of posts used +1. Float follows flight cap rules, with 50 meters from the ground being the maximum height this ability can reach. Finally, Float does not allow Maneki to carry other targets.

Telepathy: Maneki can create a telepathic bond with his ninja companion. This link allows them to share words, images, and sensations. This connection works up to 15 meters, extending to 35 meters with the sensory specialty if the ninja or familiar knows it. This is only possible with their current ninja companion.

History: Maneki is a cat bred for ninja assistance during combat by the Beast Association. He was given to Ayato by his old nova partner and current Master of Hoshi Shina Uzumaki. Some suggested buying him a pet was meant as a gesture to tell her Kage to take his desk job and leave field work behind for good. When Maneki asked Ayato about it, the Kage replied, "Just the opposite."

As discussed with a staff member I will be changing the familiar's specialty to Genjutsu, as Ninjutsu was picked as a placeholder upon creation until I decided what to do.
Spending 20,000 wc from staff work banked in owner stat page (Ayato) to claim 200 stat points. I'll do the allocation later and post it if that's okay.
