Another day, and it was time to finish the last few restorations needed to return the shrine to its former glory. Luckily, he’d finished the interior for the most part already, and now it was time to move onto the grounds. Unluckily, the very kids who’d trashed the shrine in the first place had asked to help, leaving Chiharu with some suspicions. Did they truly want to help? Or were they angry, and hoping to pull a fast one on their elders, and their village leader?

Who could say for certain, really? All Chiharu knew was that he had a task to complete.

What kind of leader would he be if he couldn’t even get a firm handle on these hooligans? Civilian ones, at that. Settling in to wait, the young man sunk into his signature pose of leaning on the long handle of his Naginata. While it was inconvenient to have indoors, the weapon would hopefully be able to serve as an intimidation tactic if he needed it to. After all, the speeds with which he could move while using his weapon often were intimidating to a normal civilian. Not so much to a well-trained shinobi, but what could he really do besides get stronger?

Regardless, it didn’t take long for the first one to show up. This one, at least, seemed appropriately cowed, blanching at the sight of the very pink man wielding a very large weapon in front of him. He shook out of his stunned state after a few seconds, seeming to timidly approach the man. “Are you mister Chiharu, sir?” he stuttered, eyes focused on anything but Chiharu himself. The young man sighed, staring at the boy in front of him. “You know, I really should do something about my own villagers not recognizing my face. You should recognize the man who owns your village, brat,” he mused, though he wasn’t trying to be scary.

Kana had been exploring the village from the roof tops, news of the new leader had spread like fire and caught quite a few people off guard, Kana included but she honestly should've expected that, the old village leader was some guy she had never met before or really seen up close before and he seemed quite content to sit back and let the village run itself. As in run itself right into the ground, Kana wasn't so blind that she didn't see how little things were progressing since the academy days, she had only been a genin for a short while but there was so many times she felt that there could've been more to be done, more shinobi to meet and train with, she had even received a copy about a team she was apparently on lead by the former village leader but the man never got in touch to get any team training exercises in, hell she didn't even see their third teammate, Kanako for a long while now that she wouldn't be surprised if the girl retired or left the village to find better work. A few people had done the same last night as well, the former gate guard, some guy Kana never really bothered to learn the name of had also disappeared with the changing of leadership position, and Kana had to admit, she thought the old leader was one of the many who fled as well.

Imagine her surprise when she saw the red haired man hiding out at a shrine, a weapon at the ready but spacing out, looking almost worn down or perhaps the man was simply defeated and accepting of his impending defeat but Kana wasn't one to take any chances, pausing from her spot on the roof, she was about 3 meters up and 10 meters away from the man but she had the perfect plan for dealing with him, allowing her chakra to flow into her finger tips she allowed her right arm to infuse with chakra to alter her body, granting it elasticity using Soft Physique Modification before stretching the limb 15 meters downward at the man, wrapping around his arms to pin them to his side before placing the tips of her fingers right against his lower spine as she begun to apply the Five Elements Seals directly onto his spine.

The sky in the shrine was filled with pink sakura leaves falling into the wind, like snow falling from the great blue hue of upwards. The gardens around the shrine were after all a magnificient place to walk and admire the trees and nature. Sairin was enjoying one of those stroll, when he heard something. He knew the village was transiting leadership, and that, somewhere in the village, the old leader was still walking, unaware of the coup d'Etat that just happened, and of his criminal status. For that reason, Sairin kept his wits sharp, and his senbons close in his pocket. After all, he could meet this leader at any moment, and surely, he would be a strong ninja and whoever was still loyal to him would prove a threat too. But, he was, in fact putting himself at risk, by voluntarily walking in an area where he could be, trying to meet him and maybe, defeat him himself if he was lucky, earning himself a good start towards the new leader of the village.

While thinking about all of this, he heard something again, this time accompagnied by the voice of a little kid. As he turned the corner of the stoney wall, he saw an individual, all dressed in pink and purple, sitting on a large naginata, and scolding a kid for not knowing he was the village leader. This was it, he had found the old leader that was now a criminal. This was his moment of glory to act. As he approached he adressed himself to the Pink Haired man, walking toward him slowly like he was a civilian. As he stopped 2m in front if him, he looked at him in the eyes.

''Hey how about you let that kid alone. There has been a change here. Surrender or die.'' said slowly and with a deep voice the Uchiha in front of her. As he started weaving handsigns of Tatsu> Ne the eye contact would totaly paralyze Chiharu, unable to make a single move, locked in place and in eye contact with Sairin. In Chiharu's mind, he would see the most horrible views of suffering occur, seeing all his family and friends get dismembered, as well as bleeding from multiple stab wounds, curling on the floor. His village would be aflame, with people dead everywhere, and paniquing, themselves on fire as they ran away. Pools of blood would form around, and as he looked at himself, he would see he mortal wounds, and see Sairin as a having red skin, and the face and horns of an Oni.

At the same time, another Sakura ninja arrived, and from the top attacked too Chiharu. This one Sairin recognized from their training earlier that day. It was Kana, a strong albeit young lady of the village, well versed in the art of seals and medical jutsu. As they teamed up and joined their efforts, if everything worked, Sairin would hold in place with paralysis the deffected leader, and Kana would constrict and curse him, the leader couldnt move, both from the constricting, and from the paralysis, and would fall unconscious from the cursed seal Kana placed on him. His limp body would hit the floor, after what, if all of this happened, Sairin would look at Kana, and without hesitation, get his Tanto out, and slit his throat slowly. To be sure this was effective enough, he would stab until his hand was covered in blood and the man was dead. As he would get up, and clean himself, he would look at Kana, and without a single ounce of remorse said the following.

''Had to be done. Wish I had a better weapon.'' replied to Kanas face, knowing what she meant without saying a word. As he realized the Naginata was now on the floor, he took it up in his hand, and chopped off the head of Chiharu, as proof of the kill.

''We need to report this to our new lord, he will appreciate the effort I think.'' Said again Sairin, as he looted the dead and mutilated corpse.
