The Arsonist(Hunter)

Mission

Ciel had been out on patrol, unfortunately. It had been some time since the last time he was stuck with such a trash job but this wasent so bad because someone had to walk around the village and make sure nothing wild was going on, he only wished he could have gotten some food before he started his shift. He had gone all day without eating because of training and due to him forgetting that he was even supposed to be on watch tonight he didn’t pack himself a snack either. When he was hanging out at the bar he had heard some intel about arsonists that had burned down a couple of building a few days ago and to be on the lookout for him since there were rumors that he might be out again tonight.

Luckily for Ciel, it didn’t take too long after his shift had started for the madness to kick off, first, it was a building somewhere in the village that was set ablaze but there were some shinobi nearby to stop it from burning down. “Well, I guess it’s ov..”, before Ciel could finish his sentence another fire went off this time near the academy. “He couldn’t have gotten too far I’ll do my best to try and cut him off “, he thought to himself, by the time he got close enough there were other shinobi arriving as well but they were only there to save the innocent bystanders nothing more, making sure no one could be used as a hostage or get trapped by the fire.

In the position he was in it was the only route away from the academy that didn’t lead to the village, after passing through some trees it would lead to an opening that appeared to be a training grounds, that was 40 meters in width and 40 meters in length forming a square that had sturdy 7-meter walls surrounding it, with only two entrances to it be the open gaps in the square shape training grounds. Ciel would be standing at the southern entrance to the area facing him would be the academy and the northern entrance. It had been a while since Ciel was this excited but now he was about to put all his training to the test

“He should be coming out of here any second now”, Ciel would say to himself while activating his 3 tomoe Sharingan.

Fire.

A resource. Something bestowed upon the people of the world by the Outer Gods to allow them to manipulate and form it into their own world. He was taught to mold the hottest of fires to create the very weapons he had wielded and even the armor he would eventually wear into battle. Now he stood in the small group of Shinobi watching a building burn down. He had not known how or when it had began to burn in front of him. His crimson orbs observed the action in silence as his arms crossed as he contemplated the why and how of the accident. It wasn't common for buildings to become ablaze with crimson out of nowhere, but a culprit had not been seen either judging by the testimonies of those closest and the building owner. The youngling of the Ametsuchi sighed a small breath as he turned to the North and within the dark expanse of the night he could make out the dark undertones of smoke. A plume of fire that many other had been ignoring for the current blaze. The culprit maybe? Either way he would turn on his heels and dig his boots into the ground as he pushed toward the area. From what he could tell this path either lead to the academy or maybe...a training grounds. Narrowing his eyes he would push further before moving through the clearing and seeing one other male there.

At first he moved to unsheath his sword, Enten, but relaxed once he had realized it was one of the Shinobi of the village. Walking over toward Ciel, he would stay at least 3 meters from the male but keep his right hand on the hilt of his blade as he looked around," It looks as if I was not the first to notice... Have you seen anything?," he would ask as he kept his head on a swivel to anticipate any attacks.
