Backstory: Originally created by the Oasis Owls to assist their young in flight, this much more sophisticated technique has been developed by owls that consider themselves Mentors. A display of mastery in the element of wind, this jutsu was designed to give assistance to assist the Mentor's students who are less agile in the air. 


Appearance: The use of this technique manifests as a green aura that encases the target. This aura is visible to the naked eye without the need for chakra-based sight. The aura does not obscure the vision of the target, nor does it obscure the target from anyone viewing them.

What it does: A bond is formed between the familiar and their target (who must be willing to accept the effect, or else the jutsu is negated), allowing the familiar to assist the target in moving through the air. This jutsu cannot target inanimate objects directly. When activated, the aura produces a burst of wind at jutsu speed directed at the target with the intent of moving them bodily. The force of the push is equal to the power of the jutsu, allowing the user to apply a sturdy push in any conceivable direction. The force of the push treats the power of the jutsu as though it was the STR score to physically move something, though the target does not suffer as the same impact; that is to say, this push might be jarring but is otherwise not harmful to the target unless the target collides with another object, in which case they take damage as appropriate. As this technique is designed for targets that are airborne, the jutsu has its power reduced by 20 if the target is on the ground or otherwise attached to a solid surface that could support its weight. This push can only be a single direction per activation, and only one activation can occur per post.

"Must have an active pupil." - Why does this have to be a requirement?

"though the target does not suffer as the same impact; that is to say, this push might be jarring but is otherwise not harmful to the target. " If you're pushed and you hit a tree, you'll still take damage so you'll have to re-word this part to clarify that.

"Up to 30/40/50m" - Going to need the range cut down a little.

"Posts used +1" + Lets make that +2

"(who must be willing to accept the effect, or else the jutsu is negated)" What if its an innanimate object, say a boulder?

- I'd like to keep the unique requirement as it is simply flavor text for a series of moves that will follow along the path of the "Mentor Style." I'll remove it if I must but really it's meant to signify that a particular bond must be made for the jutsu to be obtainable.

Sure, feel free to keep the bonus requirement. Might want to clarify that you the requirement isn't necessary after having claimed the Jutsu otherwise you wont be able to use this without a pupil.

So in summary this jutsu gives you flight potential, or the capacity to be pushed out of the way of attacks that you might not be able to otherwise react to?

Primarily the later effect- this jutsu could be used to increase the power of one's jump or other aerial maneuvers but does not inherently grant the capacity for flight. This could, in theory, propel one forward at an increased speed, counteract the forced movement of the target, or move them out of the way of abilities though the intention is for airborne targets and thus cannot simply be used to push and shove someone out of the way of attacks while grounded unless the modified STR effect is strong enough.
