Appearance Yuuma's outward appearance is mainly unassuming. Lacking a designer's sense of fashion, the boy can typically be seen wearing whatever is seasonal; heavy coats with hoods in the winter and shorts or tank tops in the summer, if the weather is so inclined to allow. A notable feature for the observant eye might recognize a favor of covering his head or eyes, typically with a hat of darkened glasses that would enable his gaze to wonder where it will, even if that means the floor most of the time. Wraps cover his hands and knuckles when he is training and sometimes when he is not, though whether that be a stylistic choice or a lazy one is difficult to discern. A pair of earphones are rarely far from his ears, usually dangling from the collar of his shirt if not placed in their design location. Dark hair crowns his head and is often pulled into a boring but practical braid, settled above a set of blue eyes that seem dull. The build of a healthy body hidden beneath loose-fitting clothing, and no noticeable scars, make Yuuma a rather unremarkable person.


Personality  Summed up nearly in a single word: tofu. A spice-less, bland-tasting soup that, while filling, isn't suited for the main course of a meal. And so, too, does Yuuma prefer to be left off the table regarding social interaction. One who observes by nature, Yuuma is not unfriendly nor spurning of those who might approach him, though too often has his aloof personality driven off those who seek to get to know him better. Single-word answers are not uncommon responses, and a lack of apparent interest often gives the air of cold indifference. Truthfully, Yuuma has a fondness for observing people. Watching how they function, what they find important, and even a sense of vicarious purpose when he witnesses someone who is mainly focused. Soft-spoken and lacking external emotion, he is often mistaken for a scholar of philosophy when he would rather watch the cloud float by than engage in a conversation about the latest trends and fads. Despite all this, his good nature will peek through for those that care to see it. Offering pocket change to the cup of a needy, silently forgoing his lunch for a classmate who forgot theirs, and tending to creatures that might pass him with kindness are a few examples of how one might believe there was a warm and fuzzy side to the otherwise stoic youth.
