Chapter 1: Near the brink of Inner Truth(Open; NK)

Near would stop in his tracks as the man entered the building. Looking around he would somewhat admire the way it was built, but only for a second. As that second passed he would hear his friend ask the woman for a certain type of food. Near would wait a moment and look at the woman. His eyes met hers as he would slowly part his lips and tell the woman of his needs. "A simple hot roll and water please.... not frozen." Near said as he continued into the office of the Snow leader. The room was not huge like many other kage offices but none the less it was an office. As he would take a seat he would twitch a tad bit. 'Hurry the fuck up and eat' Pride would say to Nate as he would fold his hands and forget just why he was there. It would take him a minute of silence to remember. "The Ice cold Heart of the land of Snow......... is it you?" Near said.

Resonate asked for just a hot roll and water the unfrozen kind, smart as the secretary had a way of being humorous, It would be moments after Near spoke that the food they had asked for would arrive and be placed near them. "I was given the nickname Kori from my time in the simulator that we ran here before i took over....so i guess in a way you could say yes i am the 'Heart of Ice'. But i have not been called that in quite a while." Demetri said as he picked up a pair of chopsticks and stirred the noodles around in the broth making sure the Pork was sufficiently dunked in the soup. "Tell me Angel do you have wings?" he asked this more as a riddle to see how smart of a person he was dealing with if Resonate was indeed on par with the mental capabilities of him he would know that he merely meant if he had a mode of transportation besides his feet. The way the riddle was said would be in a tone to not insult nor anger the man. The question asked he would take a bite of the ramen in his mouth and begin to eat.

Near would slowly look at the food that arrived as he reached for the roll and took a small bite from it. It was warm, very warm for being in the world of snow for even a second. As he chewed he listened to the words coming from the mans mouth. His origin of the name that Near spoke of. The frozen Heart. 'The frozen heart.. the Breathe in the sky,... and the Man who cries the day away. The three people i constantly tell you to speak to and you finally get to meet one! How wonderful! I must get a wiff of all his moves and techniques immediately!' Pride would say to Near. Near set the bread down and took a small sip from the water. Near had listened to the both of them talk until Pride began to yell out his lust for battle with the frozen heart, this yelling caused for Near to almost miss the question that the frozen heart asked. 'Do i... have wings.....' Near would look up at the Frozen Heart and slowly move a piece of hair out of his own face. "My wings are broken.... i travel on feet... took me a little less than a day to get here.... But tell me this..this...uhh...." Near would stop, feeling Pride's overwhelming joy boil up ready to fight the man. "My inner self is ready to fight you... im sorry he tends to take over when he's.. overjoyed... They Calleth him Pride.... Pride the Arrogant. But he's not helping me right now.... I wish.. i wish to become an ally with you..." Near would say.

Near bit into his bread and seemed surprised by it not long after doing so Resonate would answer his questions and correctly at that but it would be broken like he was trying to hold something strong back. With a questioning look Demetri would put down his soup spoon and watch as Resonate finished speaking. "Pride....The arrogant.....Hmm." Demetri would say as he thought of what a truce would mean. "Alright then for now i accept you as an ally...Perhaps we should continue this somewhere else though.." he finished as he began to stand up and move to a more appropriate place, incase Pride were to be Violent, that place would be a good bit away from the village.

Near nodded as he set the water down and got up to follow the man to the new destination, where ever that would end up being. Inside of Near's mind pride would begin to over flow with joy as he took control of the body with force. Near would stop in his tracks as he closed his eyes and their color became that of a blueish, Pride was now in control. As he laughed he would continue to follow demetri as he said under his breath "The Heart of ice.. hehehe"

They had ended up back at the place where they had met, the snow now covering most of the old building and the beast that was once there was was buried in a grave that none would know about the bones of the people that had once lived there were still visible if one were to look close enough. Demetri noticed that after a few steps Resonate began to laugh his whole persona became different he muttered something which He didn't quite hear. "Ok here we are Angel." He said as he turned to face Resonate using his Chakra senses as he was unaware if he was going to meet Pride this second or not and wanted to be able to know if an attack was fixing to come his way. "So tell me why does an Angel have a Demon inside of him?" He asked looking at the boy with his head slightly cocked to one side.

"Have you ever read in the lost book of the man who tried to take over the throne of god, The Angel who rose up with his fleet of Angels only to fall, he was pride, I am Pride i am the devil or so they say.... Its weird when i talk of my own origin.... but lets make this note. you are now talking to pride the arrogant. Hello Wanderer of the dead earth." Pride would say as he smiled and ran toward the yukikage. His first attack was going to deal with a low level hit to the face, his fist balled up and his smile would stretch across his face. Pride would not notice the area around him, let alone the bones of the dead, the area his counterpart found to be a refuge. But suddenly he would stop and he would disappear with only his voice left. The hit would not make it. "Goodbye friend.... i have things in my village to do... but meet me in the rain village in a time span of a week and ill show you why they call me god."

Resonate or rather Pride the Arrogant began talking and filling Demetri in on his history when he began to run at him it would be as the boy began to run and draw his hand back into a fist that Demetri would form a wall of earth by forming the hand seals and stomping his right foot on the ground. He would await the boy to run into the wall but instead he was left with only a voice one that was almost a whisper telling him goodbye and to meet him in the Rain village in one week. "Ill meet you there Angel." Was all Demetri said in reply to the boy who was no longer there.

Demetri would watch as the earthen wall began to crumble to nothing before he headed back to his village in a blur of speed. Upon returning he would think back on what he and Resonate had talked about it seemed odd that one could become close in such a short time but Resonate, well rather Pride, had called him friend. 'Why call some one say that when they had only met just hours before......Odd but hes not to bad.' Demetri thought to himself as he made a few clones. One clone would stay and help do the paper work that was being neglected while the other clone ran to the kitchen and began to make some food to eat returning while chewing on a peice of bread and setting down the small bowl of ramen before turning into a puff of smoke and bidding goodbye.
