The End of a Chapter

The tall and wide Akimichi had conclude his short but enterataining stay in the Heaven Country. With the Chuunin exams having conclude, it was time for him to return to the last of Lightning. With that, he approached the exit of the village, handing his visitation documentation to the relevant parties before contiuing on towards the Earth Country.

Another boring day of Gate duty. Masashi stood lazily by the door, watching those coming and going. Now that the Chuunin Exams were over, more people were leaving than entering. One of those people happened to be the winner of the Chuunin exam himself, Gin Akimichi. “Congratulations, Mister Akimichi,” Masashi said to the Kumo nin as he was waved through the gate. “If you would like an escort to Haven Country’s borders I’m more than happy to oblige.” The Uzumaki Jounin would rather not have anything happen to a shinobi from another village while they were in their borders, so better to make sure they made it safely out of Haven than for them to die on their way out. Should Gin accept the offer, Masashi would escort him safely to the border of Haven Country. Should he decline, Masashi would simply allow him to leave and continue with his guard duty.
