Acknowledgement (No kill)

When Minatsuki was reported dead, Kuro nearly fell apart. He was supposed to protect her, to be her guard, the one who she could always rely on. However, he hadnt been there. He didnt know. There was no way he could have, and he knew it. It didnt help. One might wonder how Psychosis would deal with that, well, he saw a problem, and wanted to fix the problem. He couldnt have known, so he developed a way to link minds together, to be able to contact each other no matter what. It wasnt foolproof, but it would work good enough. It was a breakthrough he never anticipated, but he was grateful for. The other problem was that he couldnt know everything around him. Sure, try and face him head to head, you ended up dead, but a sneak attack would easily disable him. So he needed to make sure that could never happen. No surprises, not anymore. He had found and bought what was called a "Heart's Eye". It would allow him to implant the Byakugan he attained from Mack in the center of his chest, thus, seeing all around him, constantly. Sure, it would drain him, but it was worth it. He had the Byakugan DNA, and could deactivate it, but he wouldnt. He should only be drained if he was in combat, but it could go either way.

With little choice left, Kuro, er... convinced the hospital staff to leave him awake for the procedure, not trusting anyone. He had a feeling someone wouldve tried to kill him if he had. He had a feeling that Kurisu was angry with him for Minatsuki, but he doubted that. Kurisu was strange, but he should understand that Kuro had no influence over the event. Kuro had held back from screaming during the procedure, but it hurt like hell. Having your chest opened was not pleasant, but he was no stranger to pain. It wasnt exactly painless to rip a bonesword from your shoulder, or spine for that matter. In any case, none of the doctors said a word. One thing was known well enough in Kumo. You do NOT fuck with Psychosis. Especially after his Master's death. The last guy who even looked at him wrong was skinned alive and left to dehydrate in the sun. It was... horrifying to the people of the village. The surgery was done without a problem, and Kuro was currently relaxing in his hospital bed, hoping that someone he knew would come by, otherwise it was going to be a very VERY boring recovery period.

What was that smell? For the life of him Ukita could not identify what the stale smell was that hung in the air around his cot. Recently after a rather intense raining session with the eight gates Ukita was brought to the hospital by his grandfather. At the time Ukita remembered very little one moment he was at the brink of opening the seventh gate and the next he was lying in a cot. According to a nurse he had pushed himself too far and now a few of his muscles had been torn. For the most part the tears had been patched up through use of medical ninjutsu, but he still had to remain in the hospital for a little while longer until the nurses checked him out.

Giving up on identifying the smell Ukita pushed himself up from his bed with considerable effort and stood up allowing the blue medical gown he wore to reach down to his mid shin. All he knew was that he would go crazy laying in the bed for one more moment, so he figured why not explore the hospital? It was not like he had anything better to do. So, with an aching body and pounding head he ventured out into the weird and whacky world of the medicine. Poking his head in one ward Ukita was pretty sure he saw a person crab walking and projectile vomiting at the same time. Naturally he quickly left that ward.

Arriving at the next ward marked surgery Ukita wandered in. Upon first entering he spied a nurse who had been treating him earlier that day. Not too keen on getting sent back to his uncomfortable cot Ukita moved as quickly as his stressed muscles would move him into an open bed to the right of a man who looked like he had just gone through surgery. Hopefully the nurse would pass right by and the guy who just had surgery would not rat him out as that would simply be a jerk move.

Aside from the non sense that plagued the air, most specifically the man who had apparently been possessed by some crab demon, the room Ukita wandered into held an aura of stasis, as if nothing could happen in that room. It was partly true as well, considering the nurses avoided this room like the plague. They would only come if called, which was good for both Ukita and Kuro, seeing as neither apparently wanted their presence. Now, Kuro glanced at the kid from his spot on the ceiling. Yes, he was standing on the ceiling, doing push... pull ups? He decided to speak before it got anymore awkward. "Who the hell are you?" Kuro's dark voice reverberated on the walls, but none of the nurses were willing to even step foot in there after the surgery had ended. It was one thing to deal with a man in pain, but when said man is recovering, angry, and miserable, you do not want to go near him, both for emotion reasons, and safety reasons. Satan wouldnt have walked in the room if he had a choice. Kuro was not the kind of person you annoy, as it could result in every known cause of death happening to you.

The person who had intruded in his room was obviously a ninja, most likely a taijutsuist. It was obvious from the way he moved, even the way he looked at things. The kid was different though, something about him stood out, especially to one such as Kuro. You dont act as a bodyguard and spy for so many years and not learn to recognize talents with little more than a glance. For example, Kuro's talents that stood out were his speed and chakra, as he moved swiftly, noting every movement others' made. His chakra was obvious due to his aura. When you looked closely, Kuro was surrounded by a thick black aura, mixed with some red. His chakra wasnt normal, mostly thanks to his use of Excussum. Controlling darkness like he did wasnt normal, and it changed his chakra to match.

"So who are you, what do you want, and did you bring nachoes?" He spoke, noting his hunger. He flipped down to the floor in what he would call a show of incredibly ridiculous acrobatics. Most people would call it falling on his face. He rolled over, looking at Ukita like he was expecting something, which he was. He was expecting him to explode into a pile of kittens which would scamper away... yup, pain pills were kicking in.

After the passing of the nurse Ukita took stock of the room in which he had unwittingly hid in. Everything looked normal: a few beds, a few nightstands, a few vials of god knows what and....a guy on the ceiling. Doing a quick double take of that last image Ukita found that there was indeed a man doing what looked like a messed up form of push ups...how odd. The young chuunin did not have all that much time to process what the man was doing up there as the man spoke up and demanded who Ukita was, which was a rather good question. However, Ukita could not help, but cock his head slightly to the right in mild confusion, but more so out of amusement. It was also at this point that Ukita noticed that the ward was abandoned save for this man, which was a bit offsetting and disheartening as Ukita figured he should have noticed that sooner.

Shrugging it off internally Uktia listened to the man ask again what his name was and, oddly enough, if he brought Nachos. Not wanting to be too rude Ukita responded to the man in a rather smooth tone that lacked the presence Kuro's voice had: "My name is Ukita Hideyasu. As for why I am here? I'm hiding of course: these nurses are crazy as hell. They always want to inject all sorts of things that supposedly make you feel better. And as for Nachos...no I have plenty of gauze if that piques your appetite." Ukita was obviously referring to the large amount of gauze that was wrapped around his forearms. "What about you? Whoa are you? And why were you on the ceiling and why is this place deserted?" At this point Ukita pushed himself up so he was sitting on the side of the cot in which he was hiding in and looked down at the man if he had not gotten up off the floor yet. Ukita also purposely did not ask about the man's "graceful" landing from the ceiling as it was not worth even asking-it seemed as if the man was a bit...loopy. Plus he felt that he had already asked too many "why" questions already. So, Ukita simply waited for a response.

Kuro's sharp eyes seemed to zoom in on Ukita. "I'm Kurok... just Kuro. Im known as Psychosis, and thats why this place is deserted. No, I dont eat gauze, I prefer meat. Though no one comes in here because of the yodeling lion." Kuro spoke completely serious. True, the pain meds were effecting him, but he was also just batshit insane, ya know, like everyone else featured on this website, only worse. Well, he wasnt really that bad. It wasnt like he murdered someone for fun... wait, yeah he did. Oh, well at least he didnt eat someone... he did that too? Damn, get away now kids, this guy is psycho. Though that should be obvious from his name. "You answered my questions, but ignored the point. I asked who you are, not what your name was." Kuro's voice went from a joking and light tone to a dark and nearly demonic pitch would had, quite literaly, scared an old man to death... right next door. Kuro ignored the rushing nurses who were trying to revive the old man. "Who you are isnt your name, its you. Example, Im me, I do what I do because Ive done what I did." Kuro's grin settled into a horrific mixture between sadistic pleasure and curiosity.

Who was he? He was no one, or at least he was before. He was a tool, a weapon, someone who lived only to serve their master, but now? Now... He felt cold, a dead feeling that he hated. Outer cold was fine, he loved it actually, but the emotional emptieness... the purposelessness he felt was horrifying, even to him. It was different than anything he had felt. Sure, he had seen friends and family die, but he never once thought his master would die. That just... it couldnt have happened. His master was his world, his entire life revolved around her, and... she was gone.

He shook his head of such thoughts, knowing it would only slow the recovery to add stress to his mental state. "Neither did you tell me why you came here, only that you hated nurses. Id guess a taijutsu injury, most likely with your family or team during a spar. Probably something powerful, something you werent ready for. Im right, arent I?" Kuro's knowing grin slipped into place.

Ukita simply cocked an eyebrow at Kuro's response. He seemed reasonable enough until he mentioned the yodeling lion, which well that was ridiculous. Perhaps were Ukita jacked up on pain meds he too would see this mythical beast, but alas no. The name Psychosis did not ring any bells. Then again Ukita did not really stay abreast of current events, so he had no clue he was sitting in a room with a crazy killer. From there on in the man got weirder and weirder. Apparently Ukita had missed the point...he felt like Kuro may have missed the point of pleasantries. Then again Kuro struck Ukita as a someone who did not much care for the regular order of things. Instead he seemed like one who much preferred to make his own type of order. Either way Ukita did not much care.

Kuro's final observation was indeed interesting as it was right on target-the man was quite observant. Not one to let conversations die Ukita responded to Kuro, though it was clear that Ukita was taken off guard by Kuro's astute observation as he only responded to that: "Yeah...How'd you know? I was practicing with my grandfather and I attempted to open the seventh gate....and well now I am here." Ukita hoped that Kuro knew what the eight gates were or Ukita would look awful wimpy: not being able to open seven gates. At this point a screeching noise sounded outside the ward. Ukita glanced back and saw a dead body being wheeled away from the room next door-people were dropping left and right.

{Sorry, a bit rushed...}

Kuro flipped up, this time in a truly graceful move, landing softly on the bed, sitting on it. "Because kid, its obvious. Only a ninja would avoid nurses without having some insane fear. Only a taijutsuist would have your kind of movements. Only a serious injury would let a taijutsuist enter a hospital, god knows how stubborn they are. Aside from that, nice work with the gates, personally I wanted to try them, but well... I prefer my own style." Kuro grinned, this time not a demented or scary grin, but a normal grin. It was rare he found himself able to talk to anyone without stress, without any need to do so. It was different from his talks with Master, even as close as they were, he never relaxed around her, as he was too worried. It was similar with his short talk with Kurisu though, without the madness that plagued him. For once in his increasingly odd life, Kuro felt... human. It was strange to him. Usually he felt so disconnected from everything, but now... he felt a strange pull to people. Normally, if anyone had burst into his room, his hand would have burst into their heart.

"As your wondering why Im here..." Kuro pulled his gown apart, thankful he had not let them take his pants. In the center of his chest was an... eye, encased in what appeared to be a metal shaft. The eye was white, and did not move. "Well, I had a mishap with someone, got an implant. It was definitely worth it." He chuckled. "It's not yet working right, but it shouldnt be long now... I always have healed faster than normal people. I noticed that right after we destroyed Kiri." Kuro mused to himself, not caring if the boy heard him. "Come to think of it, I could have done it myself at our... my... lab." Kuro's grin faded to a grimace, showing how he truly felt at the moment. "So, since Im stuck here for a while, whats your story, kid?"

Ukita listened to Kuro with a new found interest: the man was indeed observant. On the other hand so was Ukita. Kuro mentioned his own style which piqued Ukita's interest. He had always been intrigued by the styles of others. This was mostly due to the fact that as a taijutsu specialist he had to be able to out think his opponent, so as to get in close for a finishing blow-after all most hits from an eight gates user were a finishing move. Despite the few oddities that Ukita had observed Kuro seemed like a fairly ok guy, but maybe he was a bad judge of character. 

Alas it seemed that Ukita had made a judgment too soon as the man started to remove his medical gown. Luckily the man was wearing pants. If he had not been Ukita would have left right then and there probably knocking down the nearest wall on his way out and making his own exit door. The initial shock of the man derobbing quickly passed and morphed into curiosity as Ukita saw the odd metallic construct that now housed an eye in it. He was a pretty sure that "mishaps" did not end in someone losing an eye, but Ukita didn't mind how Kuro came by the eye. Though the Kuro's last comment seemed a bit off color...Kuro had destroyed Kirigakure? 

Despite his normal ineptitude in regards to current events Ukita had indeed heard about the destruction of Kirigakure-everyone had, right? He decided to keep that in mind and ask about it later, but Kuro continued to talk: he seemed to hesitate when he mentioned a lab. It seemed as if there was some kind of dispute about whose lab it really was. All the same the young chuunin kept that in mind as well and finally considered Kuro's last question about his story. 

Ukita really hated going over his story. It was full of pain. His parents...well hell they were always drunk while they were alive and they were now dead dead. His only live relative was his grandfather and he was really only a training partner at the most. It was at this point that Ukita noticed how really alone he was in the world. Not wanting to go into detail he finally spoke up in response to Kuro in a rather morose tone as he gazed at the ground in front of him: "My story...well its not really worth going into much detail. My parents were drunks...they died a while ago...thankfully, so I now live with my grandfather. The only thing I have to remember my parents by are these..." At this point Ukita would raise his gaze from the ground and glance over at Kuro. If Kuro was observant he would see the the bloodlike glint of the three tomed sharingan that rested in Ukita's eyes. They would only be visible for an instant before they were deactivated-Ukita did not much like using his sharingan. They reminded him of his past too much and of the clan he had grown to loath. If Kuro were smart he would probably be able to put one and one together: Ukita's last name was not Hideyasu, which spoke multitudes about Ukita's character. Pushing these thoughts from his mind he continued in a more matter of fact tone: "Right now my goal is to master the eight gates and then I would sincerely like to travel the world...you said you had a lab are you a scientist? Have you been many places?" Ukita himself had never been out of Kumogakure, so he was interested to see if Kuro had any stories about other lands. More importantly he hoped Kuro would mention Kiri again and not press him for more details about his "story".

Kuro had seen the reaction he had as he spoke of kiri. True, he was not alone when it was destroyed, but that mattered little. After all, who WOULDNT be interested in hearing the story about how someone destroyed a village. Kuro also noted the boy wished to avoid talking about his parents, from what he did say, they were similar to his own. Kuro grinned when the boy's eyes changed into the fabled sharingan. Kuro switched his own eyes into the famous mangekyou sharingan, before deactivating them as well. "Well now, mine is quite the tale. To understand the rest, I think you should know my beginnings."

Kuro took a deep breath, knowing this could be a long speech. "I was born into the Kaguya clan. My family was made up of those who could use Shikotsumyaku, the bone changing abilities." To give an example, Kuro held up his hand. Bones grew, covering his hand and making a claw. "I was lucky enough to not get beat to death for not having it. I went through a childhood, I cant say good or bad because I never really listened to a normal childhood tale. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, my family was indebted to a royal family nearby, and as such, they sold me as a slave bodyguard.. thing. Ya know, I cant really fit a name to the roll I had. I have to admit, I liked the royal family much better than my own. I rather liked that life. It was during that time I became a personal slave/bodyguard to one Makina Hoshimura. We got along splendidly. Technically I was her Jounin, but well... I told you it was hard to place a title to what I was." Kuro chuckled. That was true. Makina Hoshimura had disappeared a long time ago, and there were no records of Kurokon Shikyo. Kuro had made sure of that. 

"So, our first mission was hilarious actually. Its where... where it all began." A rueful smile graced Kuro's lips. "I didnt notice at first, but she began to develop a split personality, and I had done something similar, yet different. In any case, I was naive, and since it didnt harm her, I left it alone. It was a while later we learned something was going on in our village, Tengakure. I didnt question her orders, and using a technique I made, which recently stopped working, we disguised ourselves beyond any known trace. She became Minatsuki Tamaki, I became Kuro, no last name. We came here, to Kumo..." Kuro almost lost himself in the memories, but shook himself out of it. This was not the time or place. "The hilarious thing was that we discovered she was the daughter of the Raikage. I dont usually question things, but I seriously want to know how the hell that happened. I mean, she even had the bloodline for her old family... Bah I dont care. Anyway, eventually we discovered an old lab of one of Minatsuki's ancestors, THAT was fun... thats.. my lab now." He frowned. "We got into a little spat where I was closelined into a wall, I ran away to cool off for a while. Now this is where Kiri comes in. See, I was planning on killing the first person I saw that night, which just so happened to be the Mizukage. So I killed his anbu and him, then I had to fight the Sanbi, which was a pain at the time. Oh, thats where I got these babies." His eyes shifted into their rinnegan state. "Thankfully some help from a sharingan user managed to subdue it. He told me of his group's plan to destroy Kiri. I decided why not, and I rode on the Sanbi to his group's meeting place, I was asleep at the time. When we got there, I was woken up by someone in his group launching the Sanbi, and therefor me, at the village gates. Naturally I got off and started wrecking the place. I didnt notice at the time, but Minatsuki was watching, so when I got back I had some explaining to do. Anyway, she eh... died a while back, and Ive been in my lab for a while now. Probably three weeks or more, I couldnt tell you." Kuro chuckled. "Its interesting, isnt it? How crazy life can be." He shifted his posture to relax. "Any questions?"

The village of the clouds is in term a bit of irony, because its known for its mountains and nice weather but clouds symbolize rain am I right? Oh well we aren’t even talking about the stupid weather or anything like that – Or in question a terror in a humanoid body, Kaigen Shikyo a boy of upcoming events were running, now as a ninja they all run now don’t they? But he was running FROM something which wwas unusual because Kaigen don’t run from anything or anybody for that matter. His legs were really in movement every tap was heard on each level, and now that I said level it seems it means building – He was running in the village of the clouds in a building. One of the hospitals in that particular village was having a problem and to answer the question Kaigen just so happen to be that problem! Kaigen was being chased by a special force of medical ninjas, and he was suppose to actually go in for a normal check up but after checking his files they found he was one of the experiment subjects so they sent in a much more ‘potent’ group of medical ninjas to deal with him. “GET BACK HERE SHIKYO” was heard through the halls which ironically in the same hall as Kurokon room, at a very precise moment he ran pass the room. He got at the end of the hall where he came down to a halt, his cold bare feed solidly placed on the floor with a Taijutsu stance in place, he was surrounded with medical ninjas not far from Kuro’s room actually. No one tried to help them, they watched as the ninjas stood in place stopping his movement so he was forced to either surrender or fight and that is of course when ….
