Heavenly Gates of Kumogakure

The entire area surrounding the Kumogakure Gates was excavated to rid the rot field's land. Now, the Kumogakure is accessible via a sturdy Sky Bridge, a ten-meter wide three-meter thick structure. The bridge meets the gate, and it widens into a fifty-meter circular platform, where the walls of the gate divide the platform. These walls are eighty meters at their peak and wean down fifty meters where they meet the mountain's side, being eight meters thick and four meters apart to allow passage onto the Kumogakure. Guards stationed outside keep the peace, while on the inside, two guardhouses built against the walls await visitors. Two giant birds carved out of stone hanging over the walls, an homage to the Thunderbirds of the Kumogakure.

The Drunken Kage Bar

Once a ruin of a building, it began to come back to life in the reign of the past few Kage, and given its proximity to the Mission Board, it became one of the most popular hangouts for ninjas returning from assignments. It is now a pendulous yet still rowdy building for all ninja who wishes to have a pint. Or a bucket. If you have the ryo, they won’t judge.

Raikage Chambers

Built atop the highest inner peak, the Raikage Chambers are located within the Raikage Building, a blue building that stands out among the landscape, and from the office, one can oversee the village. The building includes other administrative departments, including the Mission Board, which handles mission assignments and notice deliveries. Atop the building lies an observatory from which one can view the entire village and surrounding peaks.

Ichigo Sato Institute of Medicine

Recently reworked, the old hospital now looks brand new after the renewals worked by Ichigo Sato at the behest of the Raikage. A sense of luxury oppresses the otherwise poorer village. In the gardens, a lifelike representation of Maximillian Yamaguchi stands vigil over those who heal.

The Training Grounds

The advanced training facility is also known as the Training grounds. These locations are spread across the Kumogakure, isolated platforms along the peaks fifty meters in diameter. Dummies stand guard around the perimeter of the forum. Be careful with how you aim at them. You never know where a stray kunai will land if you miss it.

Thunderpeak Campus rests atop a clearing on a mountain adjacent to a cliff. The structure's architecture is almost out of context, as it looks like a cathedral moreso than a library. The building has immense open areas and high ceilings, bringing peace and grandeur. It also hosts a circular arena, 50 meters in diameter and 25 meters high, where ninjas can come to train in the techniques held in the library in a safe environment. Not safe for them. Safe for others around them. Above the main staircase rises a tower where only Jonin and above ninjas can enter.

Ninja Academy

The Ninja Academy lies at the village's lower levels, where the mountainous terrain allows for more traditional-looking buildings. In the tradition of the ninja ways, the building strikes one as a school building almost on-site, being very large and with several levels. It is unassuming at first glance, but once inside, one can navigate the many amphitheater-styled classrooms, as well as a large training ground at the back of the school, which doubles as recess ground.

An ashen wasteland featuring remnants of brittle black bark and leaves after the Missing Ninja Yaju Hayate burned it to the ground, little remains of the previous wretched location barely recognizable.
