Meeting At the Borders {Private}

Kino started to ask her questions and even offered her his assistance. "Oh...I...um....there..." she started, stuttering out words. She sighed. "Well......I was out in the borders because I wanted to train and I thought that I would find someone to train with out there....and I actualy met someone over there, a sand shinobi and this boy..." she said, trying to remember everything. "Anyways," she continued, "the three of us had a little chat and I realized that it was time to go home...so I head back to Konoha. When I arrived, there was a...siege I think or something...and yeah...that's my story." she said ending her story, suddenly realizing that she was just rambling a bunch of nonsense. She then pulled her hand out from her pouch, revealing a leaf headband and showing it to them. "This is my headband by the way...just a prove that I am a Leaf Kunoichi I guess." she said and shrugged her shoulders, putting her headband back into her pouch.

Startled by Kinominki adressing him again, he frowned a bit and said, his voice still slightly skeptic: "My apologies."
He turned toward the girl and added: "My name is Itami Himitsu. As you can see from my headband, I am from Konoha as well."

He stood next to Kinominki, observing the exchange of words between the other two. He couldn't help but wonder why so many vital information was missing from the girl's story.
But Kino seemed to dismiss that almost instantly as he offered to escort her back to the village. So Itami decided to not care as well, for the time being.
He then relaxed a bit when Ayumi showed them her leaf headband which proved she belonged to the village. He was quite curious whether she was maybe a jounin so he asked: "What rank are you, if you don't mind telling us?"

Kino listened to Ayumi's story, wondering when Konohagakure had been under siege, it may have been quite sometime ago. His eye brow continued to be raised, however he was slightly less suspicious now. "Ah. Well, perhaps you shall allow for me to escort you back to Konohagakure then? I am positive the village is no longer.. under siege." he said, wondering if she would even be willing to go back and join Konohagakure. "Though it isn't necessary, I am not forcing you to return, if you are thinking that." He had added the last part because he didn't want Ayumi to think Kino was just forcing her to return. He lowered his eyebrow, no longer curious, he didn't need to hear anymore of her story The next thing Kino heard was Itami questioning her further, asking what rank she had been, judging by the age she could have been a genin, though age usually doesn't make a difference, Kino was a Jounin, and Ayumi could have been a year or so younger than him. He sighed at the genin's questions, he seemed to be too suspicious.

The boy who came out of the bush introduced himself as Itami. Ayumi smiled at him, "Nice to meet you." She looked atboth of them. They're out of konoha, that means there's no siege or whatever anymore... she thought to herself, staring at the ground, and once again felt the longing to see everyone in Konoha again, to see the village, her friends, and her family. Itami then asked her a question about her rank. She lifted her face up to look at him. "Oh, well I'm a Chuunin."

Kino then offered to escort her back to Konoha, though he wasn't forcing her to return. Ayumi's face brightened, her usual bright smile forming on her lips. "Yes, I would love to."

Itami wasn’t surprised to hear she was a chunin. He thought as much, given her age and the fact that she was out of Konoha. Although he initially thought she was a jounin, that was only his changed perception, due to learning that Kinominki was a jounin, at such a young age. He was surprised to hear his sensei offer Ayumi an escort back to Konoha. This seemed suddenly like a small mission-like thing. He was glad he stumbled upon those two as he was learning more about Kinominki’s character and gaining experience.
Thinking for a bit, he decided to be a bit more polite towards Ayumi, after all, she was probably speaking the truth. With a change of heart, Itami smiled at her and said to the jounin: “Can I join you, Kinomiki sensei? This is sort of like an escort mission and it could benefit me to help out a bit, especially if we encounter any trouble.”

Kino had heard her mention that she would like to be returned to Konohagakure. He decided his sister could wait a bit longer. It wasn't long before Itami mentioned wanting to come, and listed his reasons. "You forgot to mention the fact that you're lost anyways." Kino said, smiling. He began to walk in the other direction. "Alright, let's go then." Kino said, then began to think. "Unless there is anyone you would want to say farewell to in Sunagakure." He would say, looking at Ayumi.

Kino started to walk away for her, but then he looked at her, asking if there was anyone she would want to say goodbye in Sunagakure. "There is someone actually..." she said, and remembered when she first arrived in Sunagakure. She was miserable out of her mind then, but he was there helping her out. He showed her around the village and gave her somewhere to stay. He was her lifesaver back then. If he wasn't there at the right time and place back then, she would have probably been dead. He...Anko. "Yeah...there is someone really important..." she said, nodding her head.

Itami crossed his arms and shot a look at Kinominki. He wasn't lost. He simply went too far away from the path. But he could easily find a way back. He was sure of it.

He was just about to follow Kino, regardless of his words, as the other stopped and turned back to Ayumi, asking her if she wanted to bring someone along. Itami raised his eyebrows but remained silent. He was after all a genin and he doubted the jounin wanted to hear his opinion on the matter.

The girl's answer was affirmative and she held a thoughtful look on her face, as if she was remembering something. Itami observed quietly and wondered who this important person could be. He supposed it didn't really matter if yet another person joined their strange little group, on their way back to Konoha.
He turned towards Ayumi: "Who is it?"

He heard Ayumi answer his question, she did indeed want to go say her farewells to someone in Sunagakure. "Alright, we'll head there first then." He said, turning and walking towards the direction of Sunagakure. He then saw Itami with his eyebrow raised, perhaps he was suspicious, perhaps he wanted to voice an opinion, nothing was stopping him though, perhaps he was simply judging Kino.



He sighed, then began to move. "Come on then, I'll be able to visit someone now.." he said.
