In a likewise fashion, after listening to both stories, Yume felt compeled by them, but was in dire need of moving. After all, she never lingered in a place unless she found her purpose, and she knew the man who were tracking her could potentially be close still. In truth, she was a bit in her own bubble, painting and polishing her large landscape representation of the mountain range far away, in their view, with its snowy peaks, verdant higlands, and large clouds amidst the pale blue sky. As she focused on now doing the colors, tracing every shade and chromatic variant of the alpine scenery, her brushes flicked and danced on the paper like a bird's very own claw touching the surface of the water when fishing for food. As traits became lines, and got filled out with inks, Yume felt like the time around her stopped, suspended and in a sort of trance, disconecting totaly from the physical world.

Flashback

Yume was alone, running trough a forrest in the dead of the night, only lit by a large pyre behind her back, running away as fast as she could from the inferno. In total panic, crying, and scared for her life, the one-eyed purple haired woman was in fact running away from a burning building, surrounded by bloodied corpses and destruction, a sign of a pillaging. Behind her, closely following and running too, was a few man, all muscles, blood and terror, trying to catch up with her. Even if the memory was faded, Yume saw that it was surrounded by mountains. as she ran farther and farther, creating distance with the man in the dark hue of the nightly forest, the woman was scared for her life, imploring all that was good in this world to come to her rescue. As she looked behind her to only hear the pursuers catch up, Yume failed to notice the terrain in front of her. Running into some roots from a large tree, and falling out of her run, Yume couldnt hold onto anything, and fell into the depth of the woods, rolling down a abrupt slove, tearing her own body away as she hit the branches and trees while cascading bellow. As the slope began to become a cliff, rocky and jagged, Yume now unconscious corpse rolled down even faster, now bloodied herself from the sustained injury. By then the men pursuing her caught up, but stopped at the top of the hill, only looking in disaray as their prey and escapee fell down to their seeming death. As the body of the falling woman now fell into the chasm, flinging her limp self into the 10m deep ravine and falling face down in a small rocky stream, wich became red almost instantly in response, the people pursuing her laughed, amused by her cascade trough what left her barely alive. As they turned heels on her, leaving her for dead, Yume was left there, face down in the night, cold in the water, and dying from her injuries of her fall and escape from her captors. As Yume saw this memory get back to her, revealing how she lost her memory and was stranded. She remembered this because, in fact, it happened not too far from here, in the very land of mountains.

Present

As she got back her sense, Yume looked toward the other, seemingly coming back to reality. Her attention fixed on the offer of a place with a cherry blossom tree, the only thing she was attentive to catch in the conversation. Immediately, she rolled up her painting, having it finished in the perfect timing, and fixed it to her waist, ready to go and travel too. If the puppetteer would follow them, Yume would gladly have him too as a travel buddy, as well as Ren the songwriter and artist.

''Sorry, I was... in my head. Im ready to head out and travel too. Id like to travel with you Ren, for safety and well also because you seem like a wonderfull road partner. If you would join us Yoto, I'm sure you would be happy and safe too. You and more than welcome too. If you want to travel, here is the money to do so. Also, we will need to pick up my friend, Shisou before going. She is blind you see, and I vowed with my life to help her and be there for her in those times of need. Lead the way.'' said gently Yume, her soft voice filled with optimism and good intentions.

Indeed, Shisou would need to travel too, following their initial goal to stay on the move. Problem was, the close destinations were all dangerous, filled with bandits, criminals and marauders. A bunch of traveling artists, injured, handicaped and struggling people would get absolutely murdered if met with any violent individuals with any combat experience. But Yume had an idea. She heard in her travels of a place where vagabonds were welcomed, a safe haven where people were comming together to build something.

This would be her goal, her destination for now.

Yoto worked diligently on his work, which filled him with joy. He was carving a bayonet out of a piece of wood to use as a weapon against his enemies. Using a sharp knife and a file, he shaped the wood into a long, pointed blade that would have a double-edged edge and a central point. Yoto imagined how effective and deadly his bayonet would be.

Yoto noticed that there was a small protrusion left at the end of the blade that didn't match his plan. Instead of trying to remove it, he decided to keep it and use it as a special feature of his weapon. Perhaps it could be used as a conduit for poison that would weaken his opponents. Yoto remembered that his village sold vials of poison that were known for their strength and effectiveness. Yoto poured a few drops of water into the channel on his blade and watched as the water spilled down its length. Yoto was surprised to see that the wood began to gain a shiny finish.

Yoto snapped out of his complete focus when he heard Yume talking about traveling. He was glad she offered him money, even though he had plenty of his own finances. He felt a little guilty for taking advantage of her, but he was also grateful for her kindness and friendship. He was curious about her blind friend Shisa, whom she wanted to take with her. Maybe she could help him finish his puppet if she had some talent or ability.

"I... I'd like to go with you," Yoto said softly. "I think it would be interesting and fun. And I might even learn something. Thank you, Yume, for giving me this opportunity. I'm ready to go whenever you are."

Yoto looked down at his part of the puppet he was holding. Puppets were his companion and the reason he became a puppeteer. This bayonet was already finished and soon he could show his enemies his death art. He felt he needed something more than just puppets. He needed friends, adventure and purpose. Maybe he would find that on the road with Yume and Ren. Maybe he'd even find something to inspire him to create a masterpiece.

Yoto saw Ren walk out and Yume follow behind him. He quickly picked himself up off the ground, stretched his tired muscles, tucked his puppet piece into his coat, and followed them.
