The Not as Sneaky Cat !

Hands in his pockets and a breeze through his hair.  The sun was present with minimal obstruction.  Quite a lovely day for a casual stroll on a day off.  A nice way to take some time off and relax, gather one’s thoughts, and reflect and prepare for the future.  An important way to decompress and often needed by many and neglected by even more.  With nothing in his mind, he pressed forward.  Walking through a new town, one more provincial than most, more affluent, with a bustling marketplace; a market Kinko loves due to their extensive fruit selection.  

On his way towards the market, with only a few coins in his pocket only because of what was left on his drawer was he left.  Surely, enough to buy several varieties of the reasonable rare, exotic, or desirables.  He did not seem out of place since he comes from a similar background.  A background of landowners and assistants.  Kinko goes to the market for his own snacks, instead of buying for his own food; there are assistants to buy the food.  Kinko, and many who live in these areas could go their whole life without even seeing the market.  

A cat’s scrawl and a lady’s shout of worry was heard from a few blocks ahead.  Only a moment before an orange cat made its own appearance. ‘Oh no’ – Kinko though, assuming the same thing that happened with the dog would occur here.  He was prepared to help even if he didn’t want to, he knew he was going to have to.  Almost a sigh left his body…before even his need to help.

The cat ran down the fence, through the trees, and disappeared from the sight of the lady.  Unfortunately, still in Kinko’s view.  This, is where he knew he needed to help.  Soon, more ladies gathered from searching for the cat, none knew where he was, only Kinko.  The cat not even aware of Kinko’s presence, surely the cat would leave because a cat would never trust Kinko.  His eyes of an owl would have leered over the cat.  

The cat slowly snuck closer and closer to the fence, where Kinko was hiding behind a pillar.  Using his ability of concealment, he maintained his position behind a pillar that hid him well.  He did not want to sneak up on this cat but he knew he would have to, he knew that he would not be able to tell the ladies he found the cat because the cat would be gone!  He had to act, he was in the best position, albeit awkward.

With a quick snap of his arm through the limbs of the fence, the initial shock of the cat must have froze it.  With the cat being clutched from the talon’s of an owl.  The cat tried to claw and break out but the claws were negated by the limbs and protection of the fence.  Soon, after the cat had accepted its fate.  The young vampire shinobi brought the cat from the between the limbs and started his walk towards the ladies, to deliver the cat.

Making sure the cat would not get away.  After brief gestures of gratitude and a small reward bonus, Kinko was soon on his way to the market again!
