Errands

As the aged Sarutobi came up to the trio to deliver his performance of feigned anger, he notices something in Katsuragi. A quick flash in his eye, a haggard look to the boy: like one who knows what it takes to survive. Defiance and doubtfulness flares in his look, the kid balls his fist and brings them up: an action that truly angers the pink-kimono wearing, white-ash-haired shinobi.

"Orly? ight! I'll take a piece of that..."

The whelp's words precluded a burst of stone-colored chakra from the "gentle giant", a typhoon of pressure knocks his straw hat off and batters Katsuragi: Raleth Sarutobi had had enough of the whelp's disrespect. Surrounding shoppers and merchants all gasp at the scene, what was once entertaining has now become terriyfing. 

Many whisper as they recognize the white-ash-hair of Raleth, they talk of the destruction of the grove. The aura of power steams and dissipates away, calming those who were observing. A murderer's look burns into Katsuragi, a sadistic ember flares behind the immense jounin's eyes, the kid would know the man in front of him enjoys killing.

Zaine would see this and take his leave, giving his old sensei a reminder before heading out to the hospital. Raleth nods to him, and hopes that his friend will join him in the events to come.

Returning his attention to Katsuragi, Raleth utters one word.

"Follow."

The immense jounin turns and heads toward the gates, to the training grounds.

For a moment, the gentle giant of the sand and hustler from quarter town stood across form each other in silence, in a sort of split second trance. Katsuragi, laughing on the inside couldn't wait to proceed, his anxiety and impatience was almost getting the best of him. However, a gust a winds erupted affecting all, with Raleth as the source of it all. It hit Katsuragi, which he endured while remaining in place by raising his right arm upwards against his mouth and bending his knees slightly for balance; Katsuragi's eyes now narrow from the gusts of wind. Did the fight start already? He didn't remember seeing any hand signs before, and he didn't remember feeling so cold either. It was as if a cold front rushed in, his body so cold he could barely move, stuck in the position he was in, helpless. Even though he felt cold, he could feel that one lone drop of sweat tricking down from forehead to chin. 

'Him? Am I...', his thoughts scrambled with confusion and disbelief. He was just a softy, a pushover with no backbone. He was sure of it before, but thinks feeling now, the feeling that crept within his stomach, legs, and chest... It persuaded him otherwise.

Everything around him faded out to mere transparent blobs with no distinction from one another, with only the gentle giant in true focus. He couldn't explain what he was going through, but deep down he knew what this was. Like a dear in front of headlights, what Katsuragi  was feeling was fear itself. Fortunately, this only lasted but for a few seconds, everything dialed back to normal upon hearing the gentle giant beckon him.

Katsuragi grunts while dropping his arm, his mind returning back to normal. He shrugs it off like it never happened, his fear replaced with focus and hate towards him. It was indeed a nice trick, something he would need to learn  more about in the future. But now, He really felt the need to hurt someone, and pounding Raleth was just the therapy he needed.

Before Shin knew any better, Raleth, the old man that the stranger had disrespected, challenged Katsuragi to a battle. If Katsurgai won this challenge, he would get all three meals of the day paid for. Shin thought that was a lot of money and food, and he wouldn't mind taking the old man up on that offer if it wasn't for Zaine to follow. Zaine told the man to go easy on the poor guy and to not destroy the village. Shin chuckled at that, nervously. Was Zaine serious? How strong was this old guy? 

Zaine then invited Shin to the training grounds, hoping to see his physical strength. That snapped Shin out of his daze. He blushed, "Oh, yeah. I'll meet you there." Shin then takes off for a moment, slowly getting his imagination at ease with Raleth.
