Komori looked back towards the freshly made, almost sparkling warhammer before turning back to a less attractive mirror of himself, AKA Komon. “You found that,” he said sticking his thumb out in its general direction, “in a dumpster.”

“...”

“Komon are you okay.” A look of worry appeared on his face. Was his brother finally proving everyone else right? Was Komon actually retarded? There had always been jokes, but what if there was truth in the underlying subtext? Komori felt nothing but empathy towards his brother. “We can get you help if you want.”

“Yup”

He’d say with a confident tone, after all confidence was key in a lie. “In a dumpster” He’d repeat, sticking with his guns.

“I think I’ll be okay in pottery class? Why?” He’d say confused before tossing his plate into the sink, “We better get moving brother, were gonna be late for the lesson” Of course Komon wouldn’t simply leave, first he’d retrieve his warhammer as it was an essential tool for pottery, and could not be left at home.

“Move it or lose it” He’d say before leaving the apartment with his warhammer over his shoulder.

“Whateeever you saaay,” Komori said with some sass. “Off to Pottery 101, then.” The boy then proceeded to gather the plates and glasses and set them in the sink ‘to soak’ before heading out the door to show Komon the way to pottery class. He had made it about ten feet when he noticed the breeze in the mountains. Looking down, he realized he was still in his boxers and a tank top. He glanced around, where he spotted one woman out for a morning jog looking in his direction. He gave her a head nod and a wink before going to the mailbox and pretending to grab something before finally returning inside.

Without stopping, he entered the house. “Give me a sec,” was all he said in passing as he walked back to his room rather quickly. After all, the boxer clad jounin should probably put on some pants at the very least. He opened his drawer and moved his piggy bank to get to his pants. When he moved it, he nearly tossed it because it was so light. “Oh, that’s strange.” He set it down on top of his nightstand. A mystery to be solved later. For now, he slipped on pants and walked back to greet Komon. “Come on, class starts soon and we don’t want to be late!”

When his brother walked out of the apartment in nothing but boxers, Komon elected to say nothing curious as to how long it would take his brother to realize his mistake. It didn’t take long however, but naturally Komori’s egotistic self was not embarrassed and instead played it off in front of the girl running along the dirt roads of kumogakure.

She had the shinobi look to her and was probably training to stay in shape, much to busy to pay attention to his prideful brother, and instead simply kept running along the path paying no mind to either of them.

“Whatcha lookin for” He’d ask his brother as he dug through the mail box, Was he looking expecting mail? From who? Did his brother have friends? Komon had never met them, maybe it was sakana… Or hitori, come to think of it… Where the hell was hitori, he hadn’t heard from that kid in forever.

His brother ignored his question and simply went back inside. Komon would wait awhile until he returned, to which komori would tell him to get moving because they didn’t want to be late. The hyuuga would of course take this as a challenge to a race and blue lightning would surround him, “Last one there is a rotten egg”

“You did not just go there.”

This reminded Komori of one of the first times that he and Komon had really trained together as genin. Komon had been the stronger one then, and had opted to teach Komori a variety of lightning techniques, such as Lightning Javelin, which made the user faster and stronger. Komori, still in a loose fitting tank top that showed off his tattooed left arm, instead opted for a different approach.

“You’re on.”

“Since you’ll be behind me the whole time, you might as well just follow me to the class.” Komori gave a cocky smirk as the two lined up on the dirt road. “Ready?” Komori’s body remained normal. “Set?” No change at all. No lightning flickering across his body or anything. “GO!” With a mere thought, the tattoo on Komori’s back that was slightly visible from underneath the shirt glowed in a greenish blue hue. Komori’s speed was elevated over double what lightning javelin could provide him, so he took off in an instant, leaving Komon in his dust. The tattoo booster that Senshi had given him so long ago was immensely useful. While Lightning Javelin had more sentimental value, as it had carried him through his hellish prisoner chuunin exam, Senshi had provided the Hozuki with a massive edge on any of those that would try to challenge him, like a weaker twin brother for instance.

“HEY THAT’S CHEATING” He’d shout as his lightning faded and he slammed his hands together in an almost incoherent pattern to activate soul expulsion. “GET BACK HERE YOU JERK, I DON’T KNOW THE WAY TO THIS CLASS” His brother was already a good distance ahead though, and well out of earshot.
“You did this yourself” The hyuuga would mutter to himself as byakugan activated, if he couldn’t keep up with him he could at least keep him within a miles range and follow his chakra signature.

His brother would get to the class well before him at this rate, but Komon wasn’t about to give up, and used the body flicker technique, increasing his speed by two fold because soul expulsion not only boosted his speed, but also his chakra. Something Komori’s inferior tattoo was simply not capable of. So naturally body flicker would put him ahead in this race, unless komori magically got faster than 300 speed, which was highly unlikely.

Komon would now be infront of his brother by just a tad running nowhere in particular because he had no clue where to go.

“Make a left!” Komori shouted at his idiot brother. Assuming Komon followed his directions, Komori would instead make a right, towards the actual direction of the class. Komori would keep running for about five minutes until he reached a long stretch of road. Now it was his turn to use body flicker. Traveling at about a speed of 295, just near the cap, Komori would shoot down the road until he reached a rather small building on the outside of town. It was nothing fancy, as the class was rather small. He stepped in through the doors, casting one last look behind him to see how far away his brother was. Regardless, he would step inside the small one story building, certain that his brother’s dojutsu would allow for him to easily locate his twin.

The entrance room was quaint, where Komori grabbed a smock. He walked towards the only other door, stepping into a room full of around a dozen other civilians, all in smocks. A woman in her early twenties stood in the middle of the room, pacing around with her hands behind her back. The redhead was observing the work of everyone else as they were at various stages of development: whether they were first grabbing clay, shaping, sculpting, while others were already putting theirs in the kiln. The Hozuki smiled at her as she returned the gesture. Komori took in the smell of pot. You know, like pottery. He would then turn towards the door, looking for his twin brother.

“So... right?” Komon would say aloud before turning right, he knew his brother all to well, and there was zero chance that Komori would give him the actual directions. Pushing his left foot into the ground to guide his momentum the hyuuga would shoot to the right keeping just ahead of his brother. That was until the final moment’s when Komori body flickered to gain the lead at the last minute.

Accepting his defeat Komon would simply shake his head as he walked into the pottery class. “What the hell is a smock” Komon would say looking at the sign on the wall instructing him to wear one. His question was answered almost immediately when he saw his brother grab a vest looking item that everyone else in the room also seemed to be wearing.

“Not my style” The hyuuga would decide aloud before taking a seat and raising his warhammer in the air. “You guys got somewhere I can put this thing? It’s kind of heavy”

Komon was totally full of crap, but the two were brothers, so Komori let it slide. Although he was rather surprised his twin did not know what a smock was. “I mean if you want to get clay all over your clothes, then sure, don’t wear one.”

Komori headed over to a section of the large room that had been sectioned off for the purpose of storing clay for new projects. Komori grabbed a decent amount, which he took to one of those spinny things that he forgot the name of. Oh right, a pottery wheel, duh. Komori placed the cylindrical block of clay. He looked over at Komon and signaled for him to do the same. Komori would then turn back to his block and place his foot on a petal. Pumping the pedal caused the wheel to begin to spin, where Komori placed his hands on the outside to begin the process of shaping. He worked to spread out the outside so that the interior became empty. A vase without a hollow interior is not a vase at all, merely a vase shaped sculpture. Komori used his hands to round off the vase, creating a wider top half and a thinner bottom half. He then looked over to Komon to see how he was doing instead of describing making a vase anymore.

“Alright works for me” Komon would say, he wasn’t entirely fond of his current clothing anyways, besides if he wanted new clothes all he had to do was dip into his brothers piggy bank again, it was simple enough today, he saw no reason why it wouldn’t be on any other given day. A smile would appear on his face as he realized his brother still hadn’t realized how he’d got the war hammer. Nothing like a heist gone right to boost ones ego.

“Alright so I guess not?” Komon would say when nobody answered his question, sighing the boy would just put the warhammer on the floor. He noticed that Komori seemed to have grabbed a piece of clay and put it on the spinning object. “I do not understand pottery in the slightest” Komon would mutter to himself as he grabbed his own block of clay. The hyuuga would have a confused expression as he jammed the clay onto the spinning object and watched it flop around uselessly.

He’d slap it a couple times as well for good measure. “Hey Komori, I think i'm getting the hang of this” He’d say pointing to his mess of a clay sculpture.
