Cleansing Light (COMPLETE)

Yesterday was an offensive fire technique, so today would be a break day with an easier jutsu meant to clean you off.  Although it had sounded simple to Aslatiel, he had to remember he hadn't ever used his chakra like this, except for with the transformation technique, which was a disguise, and didn't actually change anything.  This one was, specifically speaking, the Chakra Cleanse technique, and was meant to push all dirt, blood, stains, et cetera off of your clothes and body.  Aslatiel didn't know how this was supposed to help him become a Chuunin, but it was a break day after all, so he just needed something easy.  Aslatiel began dusting himself off, before quickly realizing he needed to be dirty, and reapplying the dirt to his body and clothes.  Now, all he needed was the tiger seal, a bit of focus, aaaaaand... nothing.  He had managed to take this basic jutsu, E-Rank, and screw it up.  After a quick internal scream, Aslatiel took up his stance again, straightening up and forming the tiger seal, before once again focusing his chakra over his body, attempting to wipe the dirt away.  This time it did work a little bit, but it mostly just pushed it lower.  After one more internal scream, Aslatiel sat to think about what he could possibly be doing wrong on such a small technique.  The technique was meant to repel the nastiness, removing it from your body.  Maybe he just needed to focus the chakra outward from his body rather than over it. Like a pulse of chakra from his entire body, forcing it off of his body. Once again he tried the technique, this time pushing the chakra out from his body rather than over it, and noticed a much better effect.  It still wasn't enough for him to consider the jutsu learned properly, but it was enough for him to build off of.

Now that he had the jutsu half-learned, all he had to do was practice it until he had it fully learned.  This was incredibly boring, and Aslatiel hated it, but it would be useful someday and maybe even help him build up his chakra and what-not. Once again, he would perform the jutsu, and he would see improvement, no matter how little.  He continued this until he realized that, through multiple partial successes, he had managed to clean all of the dust and dirt off of his body.  This meant he needed to get dirty again, a feat he accomplished by simply rolling around on the wet ground, completely covering himself in mud and grime.  Now, with the added incentive of an incredibly disgusting coating, he tried again.  This attempt, almost a fully successful one, pushed most of it off, except for these annoying little clumps here and there. It also failed to remove any of the liquid residue left by the mud.  This was not acceptable, and so Aslatiel formed the tiger hand seal one last time, using a perfected Chakra Cleanse, before leaving the training ground for the day.
