A meet in Hoshi

Morning rays burst through the window, filtering through the air; a golden glow illuminates the room, causing Mizaki Hyuuga to wake from her night of deep, restorative sleep. With a serene poise, she lifts herself from her bed and glides across the studio apartment she calls home. Into the bathroom, she gazes into the mirror to analyze her reflection, fixing any imperfections within her understated, magnetic allure. Her long, blue hair, untamed from sleep, cascaded down from her head and around her shoulders like a waterfall of sapphire silk, framing her face with natural grace. With the lustrous quality of her hair shimmering subtly, threaded with the dawn's early light strands, she began to brush the very knots out of her hair to maintain its near perfection.

Her eyes were clear and piercing; they reflected a sharp intellect and a calm intensity. They are the windows to her resilience and wisdom, set beneath her finely arched brows that lend her an expression of both focus and gentle approachability. Her gaze within the mirror assures her that it reflects a young woman who knows her strength but is still looking for her path. Her skin is pale, porcelain-like, and nearly flawless in complexion. The early sunlight plays across her features, highlighting the high cheekbones and the smooth contour within her jawline. It Casts slight shadows that only enhance her face's natural beauty and delicate structure. Her lips are a soft pink. They are beautifully defined without the need for adornments. They offer a contrast to the boldness of her eyes and hair.

Mizaki wore a white kimono barely held in place by a broad sash the color of a clear day's sky. It draped over her slender form, caressing her shape and occasionally flaring when she darted in her habitual fast pace. Her occupation demanded freedom of movement, but flax fabric wrapped around a human body was only functionally valuable for its looks simultaneously. Mizaki's kimono was flexibly modest, but how she wore it showed her discipline and patience; each sash fold and sleeve crease was scrupulous. 

She looked at them in the mirror and arranged one of her rogue hair strands behind her ear. Her fingers were neat and delicate, her face in simple contemplation and satisfaction. The hints of power and unshakable serenity faintly pulled at her features. 

The sun gently caresses the village of Hoshigakure awake as Mizaki Hyuuga steps outside her modest apartment and emerges into the livelier parts of the town. The air is clean and redolent with the smell of blooming flowers and the background hum of morning village life as the villagers do their business. Her steps are measured with grace, leading her to a busy tea shop in the heart of the village. The exterior and interior of the shop are made of warm wood and soft stone, with hanging signs being the only way of telling the entrance from any other part of the shop. The interior is quiet and serene, with low tables and cushions on tatami mats for seats. She picks a spot close to a window, chooses where the morning light would stream in, and plays patterns on the gleaming wooden floor. 

With a book in her hand and her legs curled beneath her, she waits for her tea. The tea shop is a quiet place in the morning, with the sounds of the other patrons in the form of murmurs, while the only other constant sound is the clinking of ceramic and the whisper of steam from the pot on a fire. When the green tea arrived in a beautiful cup, Mizaki took a moment to close her eyes and breathe in the cup, the sweet, earthy smell wafting to her from the liquid surface. She takes the cup in her hand, feeling the heat seep into her skin as she brings it to her face and then her mouth. She sips slowly, the experience as cerebral as it is physical. 

She opens the book and starts to read. Her eyes move across the pages with studied intensity, forming a mental connection between her mind, the written word on the page, and the shop's calm. This contemplative ambiance fits well with her desire to get lost in the morning pages of a book. Outside, the village is awakening fully, and sounds of village life rap up to hum as people walk past the shop, casting fleeting shadows into the shop. Inside, Mizaki reads on, her mind a bubble of concentration that stands in stark and deliberate contrast to the world without. In this ideal, still, and serene morning, Mizaki finds her balance, not by emptying all distractions but by filling the space with the soothing sounds of a bustling village and the background hiss of a brewing cup of green tea.

Talon Tau doesn't sleep much. Why? He doesn't even know. He hasn't been getting out as much because he's afraid of scaring the villagers. Yeah all Tau look different, but Talon is literally patched together with different skin due to an accident in the lab where he received his threads. The only thing he did have were the masks on his back because he only had one heart. One heart = One mask. One less monstrous item in his body right?
Talon decided to go out for something to drink, and to get rid of this cabin fever he was developing from staying indoors!
He had on black pants a white shirt and a black hoodie. Talons Hoshi headband was wrapped around his upper arm close to his shoulder so everyone would know, yes, he is a village ninja! Talon was a non-killing Tau. This was very rare considering the Taus were mainly made up of missing ninja, some quite famous unfortunately!
Talon walked through the streets trying to avoid the stares with his hood up concealing his face.
He approached a little tea shop and decided to order some coffee. He's a little different, yes, but nonetheless tea shops sell coffee as well as tea.
As he walked in he caught sight of a young lady at a table, now normally he wouldn't stop and stare, but this young lady was very pretty! Come on, he's a guy, they stare at pretty girls. He looked over at her but turned away hoping she didn't notice! His cheeks flushed for a slight second before going back to normal! Besides almost running into a young lady the other day, he hasn't had much luck in the talking to ladies department.

She had continued reading her book when she heard the front door swing open, and a man step inside. The man did seem to stare in her direction, but she didn't think much of it as he continued walking passed her. Something did catch her eye, however. The man's skin was rather peculiar. She had only caught a glimpse, but she wanted to get a better look. With a bit of concentration, her eyes surged with chakra and veins would bulge on the sides of her face. He pale white eyes were now concentrating on the man's face, every inch and every aspect of it. 

His skin was pale, but sickly pale, not like her own. His chin was rather interesting as it didn't resemble that of normal flesh, but rather something very different. She thought on this for a moment, her mind began scanning every book she had ever read and every scrap of paper she could have gotten her hands on. "A Tau?" She thought to herself. She knew that she had never seen one in person, but there one was, directly before her. She set the book down onto the table before her, continuing to read it with her Byakugan as she approached the Tau.

Her steps were elegant and graceful, with purpose filing each stride. She fixed her hair as he pushed it behind her shoulder before reaching his position. She looked at him, with her mind still thinking of the book that laid on the table. She ceased reading it as she began to speak to him. Her voice was soft and kind as she began to speak to him with a light bow. 

"Hello. I am intrigued by your visage. Your skin is rather peculiar and I wish to know more about what you are and where you're from. Would you mind disclosing information to me so I may learn more about your make up? I am fairly certain your clan is the Tau, I've read about them, but I've never seen one in person. I would be delighted if I could get a chance to get to know more." As she spoke, her wide eyes would gaze deeply into his, intrigue coursing through her body, desperate to know more about the individual that stood before him.

She motioned over to the table that she was sitting at. "I'm over here. If you're interested." She bowed once more, slightly then returned to her chair and picked her book back up and continued to read.

Now we all know as ninjas we are trained to deal with just about any situation, but they never train you on how to talk to someone who you feel attracted to, someone you are quite interested in! Talon felt his cheeks become very warm almost as if he were legitimately blushing when she spoke to him! He stared at the girl whom he now thought wasn't just cute, but very beautiful! The eyes were quite familiar considering he lived in a household full of them. Obviously she was a Hyuuga.
“Uh…Yeah I'm a Tau…my name is Talon Tau.” He managed to say his mouth was now very dry. She wanted to know more about him? Strange, most people consider his clan to be repulsive trash. Not her?
“Yeah…um…I'll….be right over.” Shit! He was tripping over his own words! He shook his head and sighed. He ordered his drink and then took a seat across from her.
“I'd like to know your name before we get started.” Talon said as he looked at the beautiful girl before him. Like I really have a chance with someone that beautiful! Talon thought to himself. He felt his cheeks get warm again just looking at her! Oh wait no it was the steam coming up from the tea the waitress just sat in front of him! “Then feel free to ask any questions!” He smiled as one of his threads extended from his arm wrapping around a cube of sugar and dropping it in his tea.

There was an agreement struck. He grabbed his tea and made his way to the table that she was still reading at. With her book opened back up and her reading it, she activated her Byakugan and rose her head, continuing to read her book. For a moment, she would lose her place in the book, quickly finding it once more as the man sat at the table. He seemed nervous, off-put, disturbed slightly, his heart was beating rather quickly and his chakra seemed to be fluctuating. "Hmm.." She let out a small sound from her mouth as she looked him over. He said to ask any questions, to which she would.

"First question, Talon Tau. What exactly are your specialties in combat and in what way does your clan aid you in the pursuit of combat? Secondly, should your clan's abilities aid you in combat, what ambitions do you have regarding your station within the village?" Her words were matter-of-fact, almost stern in a way. This was her way of communicating with people. She felt that straight forward sense of communication was key when it came to communicating in a day to day setting, but also when it came to being shinobi.

If the communication has a hole, or someone leaves anything up for interpretation, which can lead to someone getting killed. This was not something that she was a fan of, something that she found quite abhorrent, so she would be sure to exemplify her ideals in her daily conversation, ensuring clear and concise communication in every conversation she was in, hoping that she would spread the ideals throughout the village, creating a village of communication so vast, that nothing could oppose them. Short of that, she at least believed it was the best in regards to keeping conversations clear.

He had a drink, yet his mouth felt dried out! He had answers for her.but they were so difficult to say for him for some unknown reason! This was the first woman to pay any attention to him ever and not look at him in absolute disgust, well besides his team mates.
“Well, being a Tau means I have several threads running through my body at my use whenever I need them. And they come in handy when in combat, they can be used as weapons considering they are sharp on the edges!” He said as he took a sip of his drink! Yes, they were talking about combat and specialties in combat, but still, for Talon this is the furthest he's ever gotten in a conversation with a female. A gorgeous one at that!
“What about you?” He asked in return before Taking another sip. He was nervous but he began to feel a little calmer…or was it simply the tea running down his throat to his stomach giving off a calming effect? Either way he was enjoying this time chatting with her. “Tell me more about you. You seem interesting!” He added. Perfect way to get to know someone, simply ask.

Talon realized it was getting late. Despite the fact he enjoyed making new friends, he had stuff he had to take care of today. It may have been his day off but he still has things to do.
“It was nice meeting you, I hope to see you again soon!” Talon said as he stood up to leave.
