Odin's Training Pt. 2

Odin knew that he had a long way to go before he can be as strong as any other ninja in his village.  He reflected upon himself, no longer caring about who was around him.  He found himself studying carefully the training scrolls, carefully inspecting every seal for the next technique he was required to learn.  His brow furrowed as he tried to grasp the concept of the hand seals.

Odin would take his time with this technique,  he heard this one was a little more advanced to learn out of the two, which is why he set time aside to learn this jutsu last.  He began with word play, "Dog, Boar, Ram, Dog, Boar, Ram."

He paced around the training ground, figiding with his hands, making the seals for Dog, Boar, and Ram.  He kept practicing as the day set into night.  He didn't care if he was the last Academy Student to leave tonight.  He wasn't leaving until he had this technique memorized.
His voiced echoed, yet again, as he recited the seals out loud, in the order they were needed.
(I'm going to have this transformation jutsu mastered by the end of the night no matter what!) he rallied himself into an excited frenzy.  

"Now, what am I going to transform into?" He poised himself, scanning the room for a valuable target of an idea.  There wasn't much to look at; a bench, some pottery, a door, and a few training dummies to practice aiming and strikes on.  His eyes locked on the training dummy, knowing that he had little options.  
He walked up to the training dummy, scanning it up and down, trying to remember each and every detail of the the dummy's features:
Its' hard, jagged wooden edges
Its' silly, painted face
Its' chain-like hooks that kept the arms attached to its' torso
Its' sturdy base, which held it into the ground.  

Odin decided after a few moments of study, it was time to finally test out the jutsu and tweek it accordingly.  He channeled his chakra into the hand seals, starting with Dog and ending with Ram.  He felt his chakra swell around him as each seal was successfully executed.  When the final seal was administered, he stared intently at the training dummy, hoping the image of it would burn into the bowels of his memories.  
Smoke exploded from around him, revealing his appearance.  
It was a jaded copy of the training dummy, but he only was able to tell that he got the body's appearance right.  He wasn't sure if he had the same face details as the dummy but he knew that it was probably close enough.  
He tried to open his mouth to speak, but he forgot that things were surprisingly different when he was transformed.  
The training dummy that was him only shook when his voice emitted from within it, "Looks like things are as good as it can get here."

He released the jutsu, created another puff of smoke, revealing his true form.  He looked down at his own hands, wondering what else he would do in the future.
