Walls of Trees (Kira, IO, Priv)

Kira was deep into concentration about her own issues when the message came, slipping into her mind first as a whisper, near inaudible until half way into the sentence. ~Kira. If you'd be so kind. I could use some assistance. ~ She knew what this was about. They were still working on the incomplete form of sage mode.

"Yes yes. I assume you need more help with sage mode. Come now amber. Summon your summons, draw in the energy, get their help to feed you. Let the nature energy move through you...... Kiru, have you tried hitting the tree with the sharp end.... Through you and then allow it to fill your body. It really shouldn't be that hard." She'd paused mid statement, not noticing that she was speaking to amber and selene who sat in the large home they'd been given within the nara district, legs crossed and eyes closed in order to summon the power of Nature energy and connect with the Fae. It was strange to the girl that they would have this much trouble. it didn't seem hard... Though naturally she seemed to be a genius at things such as this. She wouldn't even turn as she spoke to kiru, concentrating power on the stone not to enchant it with fuinjutsu as much as to transfer the effects of the seal from one to the other. She didn't know the jutsu that Kiru had put on it, but she could copy the way the chakra flowed using her sharingan. She poured energy into the small red stone, drawing from the world around her as well as pulling energy form her connection to the lands outside of time, the Faewilds. She wanted to make sure this worked.

Amber and selene sat facing one another, hand over hand in a reverse formation with Amber's left hand on top of selenes and her right hand beneath. They would pool energy, drawing from their natural connection to the fae with the two small pixies and two drakes setting on either shoulders respectfully, Su'na and Des'na the faewild drakes of the seelie court on Selenes and the twin princesses daruku and shuurin exactly where they belonged with their true mistress.

~We're aware of that much. It just feels like it's taking more time then I assumed it would. Four days strait we've been drawing Fae energy and it still seems too weak to be able to grant the abilities of the Fae. is there something else you did....~ Amber wasn't exactly used to working hard for things. She hadn't had to do it in quite some time. Still she sat concentrating, waiting on Kira's response and hoping to hear that she'd forgotten something. It was painful to think the girl who wasn't strong enough to have her existence taken over by the demon of chance was skilled enough to get this before she did.

"No no. Just drawing energy. Once its potent enough the rest will fall into place. At least that's what I'd have to expect. " Once more Kira would respond to Amber verbally as well as through their thought speech link. It was an odd thing to hear for an outsider, the girl seeming like she was sitting there tinkering with this and that while talking to herself rather loudly, but naturally it was most likely something Kiru was used to by now.

"Kiru. How exactly did you do these seals. I'm having issues replicatin the effect from your choker to the stone I'm going to put in my new one. I really thought this would be easier. " She could feel the chakra pulsing from her palm, shaping itself into the symbols needed to enchant the item but things felt weak. It was almost as if she didn't have the specialization neccesary to copy complex fuinjutsu or something. Still She worked on it, her eyes closed until her student responded, trying desperately to get the knack of this seal before help was offered.

"Daruku. If you'd be so kind. I have need of your talents. Kira suggested it would be more easily done if you two were feeding the two of us energy" Amber called, her attention pointed more towards the twin drakes as she spoke. It was clear that her comment directly to the black pixie princess was meant truely for the four of them. Daruku fluttered her wings up a bit to set herself down more effectively against her summoner's shoulder, legs crossed to lay over the front of the girl's chest. Shuurin however would do several excited flips in the air before flying downward, her wings stopping just in time to drop her onto Amber's shoulder with a soft thud.

The two drakes were.... Less excited about the idea. Instead of setting up at a position they found exciting they each simply slid their nails into selene's back, piercing skin in a way that would make a normal person cry out in pain. The avatar of sorrow was of course unlike a normal human. She barelly flinched as pain flowed brightly through her skin, leaving a string of goosebumps leading to her core.

"Got it. I suppose our connection to the Fae is fairly important. I'm not sure why you didn't just ask us to do it in the first place." Daruku's words were monotone and uninterested. She simply placed her tiny pixie hands against the girl's shoulder, drawing energy from the world around her and allowing their connection to flow the nature chakra directly into her summoner. The first thing they felt was a surge of power unlike to anything they'd felt before. It was remakrable to be sure.

~Alright. We've linked up with our summons. The power feels significantly stronger when chaneled through them. Anything else?~ It was a formality of course. They'd decided earlier that this would appear to be the only suggestion kira could give. Still there was always the off chance that in her absentminded nature she'd forgotten something.

"Good good. Just get in sync with the energy their giving you and the power of the incomplete sage mode transformation should happen. " As she spoke she calmed her mind, drawing Fae energy of her own quickly in order to test her final theory. She'd found important ability in the use of nature chakra to do things that often she just couldn't figure out for herself. had she shown Kiru this yet.... we'll see, she thought.

"The seals I used were in the sealing coding language, if you knew how to use fuin, you wouldnt be having an issue."
He looked over her shoulder with some degree of irritation as she was literally doing everything wrong. "You aren't even using the signs for communication right. Theres a reason I used a blood sigil, it solidifies a connection and then I can use those connections as amplifiers to all the connections to the network. You just have a mishmash of wiring that doesnt make hardly any sense."
The fact that Kira had gotten this Nara Seal to even work was beginning to amaze him. Though her current effort may have been half as so then what she had done for her clans seal. It was likely a lot more important then a communication device, but there was inly so much bad fuin he could watch the girl do. "Ok this little loopy sign? The Fae use that as their communication sigil in some of their signs. If your trying to upgrade the choker then having it work through the Fae may be easier. However if you have no idea what im talking about, then you are better figurikg it out yourself honestly."


As Kira was talkimg to her summons Kiru got the distinct impression he was still not sure what all she was doing. However whatever the summons were doing were strengthening the sigil. Kira was making the seal work with brute force where it wouldnt with finesse. Some of the signs were unmistakably Fae in design, and he hadnt gotten the language down for all of them, but he could see that the one thay were appearing in a better light still werent exactly right. Kiru quickly made some slight adjustments with his owm chakra, strengthening a line here, editing a symbol there. Whatever Kira was trying to do, he was making it a tad easier.

 At the same time he continued focusing on his ethreal blade, the shining blue sword in his back hand, lazily floatimg around as he divided his concentration. Getting an idea, he carved several fae seals into the energy, the intricate designs very clear to see. "Here, this is the symbols for 'Gather', 'Improve', and 'Focus' in the Fae. Even for average seals they are an improvement over the language the ninja use. Add these and try to give..meaning to them, on what they are improving, gathering, and focusing. As long as you concentrage even abstract concepts like your ability to react can be improved. So theorerically this SHOULD help."

Kiru hadnt been studying the Fae language long, he just had what he had copied from the grand library but he didnt think Kira understood the treasure trove of secrets for a fuin master lied within. Of course, that wasnt all that useful to her at this moment unless she persued fuin. He pracriced a throw with his blade, impaling a tree with a thick thud and smiled. He was getting better.

Well. If this wasn't the definition of the shoe on the other foot she wasn't terribly sure what was. Here she was the avatar of perpetual strength, with the ability to conquer any obstacle... And she'd found herself sitting on a stump as her student explained to her how incredibly bad she was at fuinjutsu. It was actually a pretty embaracing endeavor. Still, he broke down each of the symbols quite simply, allowing even an idiot to get at least a minor grasp of what was needed. This will come to no surprise that the explanation did nothing to make what they were doing more clear. Kira continued to watch, repeating each third word Kiru said with a knowning tone, glancing up at him every few seconds. "ah. Used. Sealing. KNew.... Fuin... having.. Right. that makes sense. Loopy. Fae, Communication, some, sign. Trying... Choker, Work. Easier. I see now. This makes sense. Something about... Gather. Interesting." If he beleived she had any clue what she was talking about they would have significantly larger problem then her attempting to copy fuinjutsu. Still she had quite the interesting idea.

She'd wait until he'd finished his final technique, stifling the intense need to roll her eyes at the intense level of gobblety gook coming from her students mouth and then gave another large nod. "I think... I think I understand it now. I just need to use the Faewild seals in place of the Fuinjutsu you initially put on it. This makes alot of sense. good." She took the stone, closing it into the center of her palm and closing her eyes. With the power of the summons granting her the strength needed she'd allow the effects of Sage mode to flow through her body, elongating her features and pointing her ears. The intense flow of energy made her eyes snap open for a moment and once the strength was fully upon her she'd simply channel the energy fully into her palm. It lit up like a christmas tree. For several moments it would look quite a bit like a bomb had just exploded in her hand as chakra infused by the Faewild was poured in more then excess into the empty stone in her hand. The energy would force into the small red stone a seal similar in nature to the one Kiru had created on the original choker, Essencially using the method that had always seemed to work best for her. Where Kiru would create art with subtle shifts of his chakra in the air like a great swordsman controling the tip of his rappier across the sky threatening...... She simply picked up a bastard sword and hit it a couple times.

"well. It should work now. " she bit her thumb, sharpened teeth drawing a smal bead of blood which she dripped down onto the stone just as they had before. As hoped it lit up, revealing only a very minor crack in the surface of the jewel from her hit it harder kind methodology. She set the jewel into the setting, slipping the silver through the hole in the setting to finish up the final pieces of the choker. "Tada. Works and I didnt blow anything up." The look on Kiru's face would be priceless.

At the same time the two companions to the Hell's angel would simply shake their heads, returning to their work. With the assitance of summons the energies of the Fae seemed significantly easier to control. THe power poured into their bodies like an endless font, revitalizing their tiered chakra systems and surging strength through every inch of their bodies. The begining effects of Sage mode coursed through their bodies, Their skin begining to form blotchy patches of the olive like skin begining to shift on their form. This alone brought a grin to ambers lips. Two bits left to work on, she thought to herself. Once these two were done she'd be caught up to the girl who was essencially her shadow. She could feel a tingling sensation begining in her eyes that would flow around to the sides, denoting the begining of the next level of their transformation. With a slight yellow glow their ears would begin slowly to grow outward, taking on the pointed "knife ear" look of the faewild elves. Her calm blue eyes shifted to a deep green color, a minor shift that would only happen with the demon of chance herself was chaneling the power of her magical home. Their auras went wild. Between Amber and Selene would seem a great duel as tendrils of deep purple and black energy whipped about striking out at each other with volatility, something that would seem dangerous to any unaware of the way the two worked. Within the center, past the battling bits of powerful chakra the two edges of their auras converged, sinking into one another in a way only Amber and her weapon could do, seeming to increase the power of her energy ten fold. The rest of the transformation would be near instantaneous as they each closed their eyes, Four hands closing in perfect unison to break away from one another. A flash lit up the area engulfing the demon and avatar alike, and when the proverbial smoke cleared..... The two girls could be seen for barely a moment, their forms quite different from Kira's but distinctly fae.

Their forms would be bathed in Faewild light, the energy seeming to cloth them in long robes of incredibly intricate Regalia signature to their position within the fae. It was gone as quickly as it'd come of course, the effects of their jutsu leaving as they were unable to hold it, but the desired effect was finished. The two, who somehow had shifted from sitting to standing in the matter of seconds turned their attention to kira and her student. "Well.... I think we've been able to achieve the form needed. Now the next step is being able to actually hold the transformation."

Kira beamed excitedly at her work. She'd succeeded in figuring out exactly how to do this rediculous Fuinjutsu without needing much help from her student, the resident Fuin expert. As she turned to see what she hoped would be a beaming smile and bright eyes of pride at her work.... Instead he'd thrown his hands in the air and turned away. rude much? "Wh.. What? What'd I do?! I made it work. You'd think the Fuin specialist would be more impressed with someone who's knowledge of fuinjutsu ranges from 'so i have this cursed seal i geuss' to 'So i can kinda use the mark seal, that's neat' being able to master the complexities of a Fuin seal that aims to allow contact between those in range. Why aren't you more happy about this?!"

The entire time the two discussed how to and not perform fuin the Demon of chance and Avatar of Sorrow had been practicing. Their grand achievement went off with a bright burst of light... Surprisingly a burst similar to what kiru had expected... Though clearly this was slightly different in that no one died or was blown back just far enough to not be ripped to shreds by the powerful Faewild energy. This was an anticlimactic day for all it would seem as amber simply glared at the duo, her great entrance ruined.

"Alright. Selene I believe we need to do it once more. We were able to achieve the form needed however We didn't hold it. Being able to take on aspects of the Fae is cool but grants very little actual power. Kira. If you're quite done being proud that you literally beat something with a rock until it admitted submission and did what you wanted to.... Would you like to explain to me why we werent able to hold the transformation?" Amber sounded pissed. Like pissed pissed. her hand set on her hip as her glare shifted between the Wind adept and the suiton girl, almost as if she was trying her hardest to set the two of them on fire merely by thought. She was. It didn't work. Sad day.


"Hm. Oh right. So You were able to get the transformation but you didn't balance your energies. See, I was watching, even while concentrating on both the task I was working on and that wierd sword thing that Kiru was making I assume out of space time chakra. Split concentration. I do hope you remember it since it was a skill that you taught me. Well, Unfortunately you went too far. You cant just like... beat things with a rock until they work for you. ONce you have enough power to enter the incomplete sage mode you have to ease the transition. If you blow the entire power of the nature chakra your summons have been drawing in order to enter the transformation then what do you have to sustain it? Once you achieve the shift to a faewild, allow the energy to leak out slowly, that will give you enough time to for Daruku and Shuurin to draw in more energy and pass it to you. I mean... It just seems simple to me. " Kira would shrug, not even realizing that she'd scolded amber for doing exactly what she'd done, though Amber and selene paid close attention to the wind adept's face to see if he'd caught it. They both sensed quite the inevitable face palm.

Kiru sighed. "Kira you almost just took out this entire forest. You just did the fuin equivalent of disarming a bomb by stabbing it repeatedly with an axe. I may be a little more proud once I stop reciting my last will and testament in my head."
Maybe he'd been a bit too harsh, she had tried really hard. It was probably in his best interests to keep on her good side anyway while she had a ability that currently trumped his. He had asked his dragons to teach him this incomplete sage mode trick, but they had told him his training wasn't even close to complete. He had been a little miffed for a bit about that, especially considering how cool Kiras Fae based transformation looked. Kiru could have a dragom arm sure, but Kira had all sorts of new features and stuff. 

Kirus thoughts were somewhat interupted as a flashbomb or something went off. He would have assumed they were being attacked if not for present company. Apparently, Amber had failed the transformation for sage mode. This wasnt completely suprising, as Kiras body was likely the main host for the Faewild chakra. The offshoot bodies Amber and Selene resided in would be naturally unnacustomed to dealing with natural energy. At least, this was Kirus working theory. He still didnt quite understand what Kira had done but magic worked differently then chakra and the boy assumed he may never fully understand.

Kira began to explain that they couldnt do..exactly what she just did with her attempts at sealing and he visibly winced at his near death experience. He shook his head a bit, wanting to help as well if he could. "A little bit of sage energy goes a long way. Dont hoard all the energy like you need to save every tiny bit, at least not yet. All your going to do is wear your body yet. The best way to reach the transformation can be calm meditation."

"Shut up Kiru. " Amber's words were quite to the point as she rolled her eyes. He really had the nerve to suggest to the high goddess of the black arts how to use subtlety. She thought back to the large handful of times she'd killed for less.... Ah, her glory years. Still she sat back down, nodding to the two pixies that they could continue their work. Meanwhile Kira had a thought and shifted her bodies almost reflexively. The long cloth like barrier of the color course change technique flowed across her form as she stood up, shaking her head at the exchange.

"Amber be nice. It's not his fault he isn't aware you've been using magic about as long as I've been [b]alive." She could hear the words in the woman's head as she bitched and griped about the boy's inability to know her history, both because she hadn't told it and because if she did explain there was that pesky chance that the world would impload. Kira had set her sights a bit higher then usual, deciding it important to work on another technique for a while while the pair continued their attempt to master the incomplete sage mode transformation. Surprisingly she knew exactly what to do. She'd heard word or more so read it, that there was a scorch style jutsu of remarkable power, a jutsu that could destroy entire cities. She'd done a little work with the technique, though she'd not quite figured out exactly how to ammass that much scorch and successfully do damage to that degree. Thankfully Kira was however aware that if anyone could figure it out it was she.

"Miss. She's going to work on THAT jutsu" Selene said almost matter of the fact as she continued to allow the twin drakes to slowly trickle bits of the Faewild nature energy into her system. She was matching her mistress' motions perfectly, as the two had always done, and with that came the slow draw of sage mode once more. Selene didn't actually care about the technique. It was simply a means toward an end, as were all things. She feared the truth that this jutsu would cause countless ammounts of hurt, adding more souls to the voices that whispered of death into her ear nightly.

"I'm aware. We'll be gone far before she masters it I believe. I think it'll be funny to see the look on Kiru's face."

"I think you mean the look on the wall Kiru's shadow will perminently imprint."

"You two. Shhh. Concentrate on your work. Rude. " She interupted the pair's convorsation letting out a long sigh. She had more important things to do then listen to them critique her ideas. There was Scorch to learn and Senjutsu to plan out. It seemed the days were just never long enough.
