Nightshade Arashi had awakened early that morning knowing she had a mission she had to do. She was going to meet up with Primrose Uchiha and they were going to work on the village gates together with a few other shinobi.Nightshade got dressed in her favorite shinobi black two piece catsuit with the mesh, fishnet middle. Then after she brushed her hair and teeth she grabbed her black sandals and put them on for work. She stretched and sighed as she ran her fingers through her long red hair before stepping out the door. She checked her pouch to make sure she had her weapons, considering she knew she knew she could use her kunais for tools. The sky was beautiful today, it was slightly cloudy so the weather was not to hot or cold.As she approached the village gates she saw some of her fellow shinobi already there working on it. After quick creatings were traded back and forth, they began to repair the wood on the gates. She began to use her one of her kunai as a screw driver as she helped replace the wooden boards.A fellow shinobi held the top of the boards and she held the bottom screwing in the screws around the bottom of the gates. Nightshade figured Prim would show up shortly, it was not like Primrose Uchiha to be late.

Even though it was early in the morning, Primrose Uchiha had woken up a little later than she intended to. Even though she was running late she made it out of the house on time. She had her raven black long locks left down and she had on her favorite black shirt with fishnet underneath and her favorite black jeans and work shoes. Her leaf headband attached to her belt loops around her waist and her leather weapons pouch on the opposite side. As usual Primmy left a note for Viper and Akina on the refrigerator. Then she headed out the door to the village gates. She greeted her other fellow shinobi at the gates as she began to hold the boards for Nightshade. The girls began giggling and telling jokes to their friends to pass the time. prim then noticed the latches holding the gates were broken. She found the latches in one of the buckets of tools they had brought to the gates and she began to work with a fellow male shinobi to help repair the latches.

When she had finished her other tasks, Nightshade noticed that the locks on the gates were broken. Even rusted in a couple of places she could tell it needed to be replaced. Using one of her kunai she worked on one of the locks on the gate chipping it off piece by piece as another shinobi began to pick up the pieces. Nightshade began to sift through a box with various locks and keys and nuts and bolts in it to find a replacement for the lock. "Here we go, this would fit perfectly, its even the same color!" Nightshade said giggling. Working on these gates have actually given Nightshade a good feeling and a feeling that she was doing something good. Helping her village made her realize the sense of pride in herself that maybe she never realized before. Helping her fellow leaf shinobi made her feel pretty good deep down inside as well. As she watched the others, she realized as they all worked together the broken down gates were coming back together and looking very nice. Nightshade began to walk around the gates and pick up various pieces of trash from their labors of the day.

After having helped fix the boards and the hinges of the gate Prim decided the chipped paint of the new boards could use painting. Primmy and two other shinobi grabbed some paint brushes and paint and began to paint the gates. Each stroke of the paint brush made the gates look beautiful. She painted one whole side of the gate a beautiful shade of green. After the three Shinobi, including Prim, painted the fence she took a smaller detailing brush and began to paint the hinges white. This part of the project took a little longer because Primrose was a perfectionist when it came to appearances. Each hinge on the left side and right side of the gates were painted white. When she was finished Prim decided to move to the new locks. Even though these were brand new locks, they still had a dirty rustic look to them. And with all the shinobis hard work they had put into this today, she was not about to let appearance ruin it. She began to carefully paint the rustic looking locks. After she was done, she helped Nightshade and the others pick up trash and before they knew it, they had a completely repaired and freshly painted set of village gates!
