Ryuko began to roll his shoulders to get ready to use his technique again when Lucian had caught his attention to something or rather someone in the training facility. Before he could activate the technique again, the fluorescent blue eyes would slowly move with the blonde's head to meet a new person that he had quite honestly never seen before. He could tell off first glance he was definitely muscular but could put nothing past him after that, which was mildly annoying. He deactivated the saber again as he looked over to Lucian waiting to see if he would ask who the guy was and when he did it saved Ryuko the time of asking. Though at first his answer was a bit vague what made Ryuko weary was the fact that he knew what he was. A furrow of brows would show his discontent but he was not without reasoning and would inquire further," What do you know of the Akari? Seeing as you just pointed it out so passively you must know one eh?," of course he would be genuinely curious as to how the random male, now known as Duncan, knew this but maybe it was a lucky guess?
