Re-Arrangements (Solo)

In the quiet of Kirigakure's lodgings, with all of her travelling partners busy with the first phase of the Chuunin Exams, Murata takes over their room to do some light inventory management. Murata keeps Samehada hefted to her shoulder while she works, having just pulled it from storage displacement - she had tried to set it down for one moment and it had immediately taken to chewing on the bedsheets, and she does not want to surprise the Mizukage with an unexpected repair bill. It instead chews idly at her shoulder, giving her the beginnings of a headache as chakra is pulled from her.

The curtain is drawn, doors locked, and they have arranged to keep the location of their stay private - even in a neutral and heavily fortified village such as this, they are sure to have enemies.

'Gigigi...'

Samehada grumbles ominously as Murata flashes through four handseals, placing a basic storage seal on to one of her undershirts. Nestled under layers of armour, the seal will be accessible for her and well-protected... she'll just need to be attentive to keeping it washed. Perhaps some manner of accessory (a sturdy one) would be a superior long-term option, but this will do for now. Murata looks over her inventory with a hum as she decides what to keep in there.

Murata goes through her stuff, for a moment worrying over what she's done with her books before remembering that she left them at home. Saki Dossa's novels come to mind specifically - their publishing house had been in Hoshigakure. Perhaps she can sniff around later and see if the author has anything interesting out that hasn't yet made it overseas.

As for everything else... well, it might be best to simply keep everything in there for now. It will allow her to look inconspicuous. Perhaps it'd be best to have a side-arm on her for the sake of speed, though, and so she doesn't look flagrantly vulnerable to attack... Perhaps a short blade would be a good investment. For now she will settle for her basic tools and not-so-basic tools (the folded Fuma shuriken on the bed). The kusarigama as well, perhaps, though its quality thus far has disappointed her - it will need some love when she can secure more materials.

Murata flashes through handseals once more, ignoring the plaintive whine from Samehada. It is quite averse to being stored in extra-dimensional spaces, which she can sympathize with... but dealing with the consequences of carrying it openly is something she cannot do at this time. In a puff of smoke Samehada, Fish Eagle, Murata's bandages, and her various scrolls are stored within the shirt - which she promptly changes into before donning her armor once more. With that finished, she sets off to take care of the day's duties.
