A-Rank: Silence is Key (Mission/Open)

It was finally that day, the day that Minato was lucky enough to get an A-Ranked mission. This time though it seemed instead of going and picking it up himself, he received the mission via messenger hawk. This time it seemed the mission committee had decided to select shinobi to go on this mission, so Minato grabbed his trench coat off his dresser. Throwing the coat on and tightening his belt, Minato headed into town with the mission on his brain. He could see the message in his head like he was holding it in his hand,

‘Minato,
You and a select few shinobi are tasked with silencing a few politicians who are slandering our village for it’s pasted Mizukage. As a ninja of the mist it is your job to deal with these outrageous claims and stand up for your village and it’s previous leader, meet with your team at the sushi shop on the southern island.’

Minato had been to this shop before, but it seemed like forever ago since he had stepped foot there. The walk he was on was a long one indeed as he had just left the northernmost island, but it was fine by him as he reached in his right pocket pulling out his book and beginning to read as he navigated the streets of town. Minato was beginning to really get into the climax of the book when he looked up noticing he had walked about twenty meters passed the sushi shop, he quickly spun around and rushed back hoping that no one noticed his mistake. He knew how ignorant that would make him look, sliding his book back into his pocket Minato entered the sushi shop.

Assuming that Minato was there first he would take a seat at a corner booth and begin to go over in his head the details of the two targets. The first was a wealthy politician known as Danzo Higorashi, he lived just outside of the Eastern Islands of the village. He is said to have a few hired thugs but no one of abilities beyond a chunin and he himself knew nothing of the ninja arts. The next target was Kino Yin, he was an ex-shinobi reaching the chunin rank before quitting and becoming a politician. Kino was known for only traveling with one other shinobi and he was of equal strength to Kino, however their location in the village was unknown at the time. Minato kept wondering the best way to take out the two, knowing if not done fast enough one could hear of the others demise and become a much harder target to reach.

Minato sighed to himself, the team was probably about to be here. He hoped this team would prove to be adequate.
