The man agreed to come with cole to get a drink, but it was a little confusing the man almost talking in riddles. Cole was thinking that maybe he had already been in the hot sun for too long and it was starting to affect the man's minds. Cole figured that they should probably hurry and get him out of the sun and into some shade. Cole would head off with the guy keeping an eye on him as well while moving. He would judge how strong this guy was by increasing his speed every now and then. He would stop when it looked like the guy was trying, and use that to judge how strong he was. Cole knew that speed was not everything and had seen a ninja with slow speeds able to do insane stuff with their chakra, but for now, it was all he had to go on. The man then would ask cole how long he had been away from the village.

Cole thought about it for a minute before answering as the answer was not an easy one to give. Really he had been away for 3 years, but at the same time, he had only been away for 3 days. Not wanting to tell the man too much he decided that it was better to go for the short answer, and if he grew to trust the man that he might give more info. “I've been out here for the past three days hunting a group called the jaws of Grima” cole would tell Q. He would watch carefully for any tell that Q might have at the mention of the cults name. For if Q was a part of it cole would kill him where he stood with no question asks.

As they slowly walked towards the oasis Q was in desperate need of he started to see strange figures in the distance. Then as they neared Q saw them for what they were merely heat mirages. " Um Uhh I'm not doing so well, I keep seeing mirages is the distance. I think I'm having a heat stroke." Then Q Would take off as fast as possible towards the water he saw in the distance or at least thought he did. The boy he had met would be in charge of his fate. Was he going in the right direction Q had no idea he was just running foreword.

All Q could think of WATER H 2 O moisture was all that was on his mind. Slowly he drifted off and just kept running eventually he would be at water or he would die, someday he would feel the touch of moisture on his sun struck face.

Cole was walking with Q to the oasis to get some water and cool off when all of a sudden Q broke the silence and started to talk. However, it was the talk of a madman. He was saying that the sun was getting to him and that he was going to have a heat stroke. Then Q took off hitting his max speed in no time. O shit cole thought to himself as Q booked it in the wrong direction. Somehow Q managed to make a right turn before taking off was running further into the desert. If he kept going that way he would most definitely die, and it would be on cole if that happened. Sure he had killed a lot of people lately, but this was different Q seemed like a good guy. Which made him way better than the people that had killed coles parents. Cole figured that he had better saved him and took off hitting his max speed of 125 pretty quickly, and stopping in front of Q. cole would dip down and pick Q up in a fireman's carry. (The water is this way. Don’t worry I'll get you their fast” cole would tell Q as he made a single hand sign. Turning in the direction of the oasis and saying body flicker jutsu. Cole would hold on to Q as tight as he could to make the run as not bouncy as possible, but Cole knew that the ride would not be very pleasant. However, Cole would get them there a lot faster than if they went at Q’s speed.

Within an instance, cole and Q on his shoulders would move at Coles now the top speed of 175. They would make it to the oasis probably before Q knew Cole had picked him up. Once their cole would lay Q down next to the water under some shade trees, and let Q get a few drinks. Cole would join him taking the water in his hand at first to get a few sips in before submerging his canteen in the water. After filling his canteen up cole would lean back against the tree and enjoy the sweet shade that it offered him and Q for a minute while drinking from his canteen. After a few minutes of letting Q cool off and drink his fill of water cole would start the conversation with. “Sorry about that you were kinda going crazy on me, and took off running in the wrong direction. I quickly picked you up and used the body flicker jutsu to cover the rest of the distance within a few seconds.” cole would wait and see what Q would say. He would keep his guard up slightly nothing out of the normal. He would just be prepared to defend himself if he needed.

As Q ran haphazardly in the wrong direction he saw the oasis instantly. Then he felt water on his face, he snapped out of the strange trance and dove into the oasis. Then the boy would flip over putting his back in the water and say “ sorry bout that mate I think I got a little hot.” Then he would climb back out and take a drink of water. “How did you get going so fast, that was faster than I’ve ever seen.” Then he would get up and walk over towards the tree they were sitting under and keep drinking from the boy’s canteen.

Then while the boy explained Q would start to wonder what had caused him to be so stupid. After the boy was done explaining his extremely fast speed Q would ask the boy where he was from and how long he had been gone. “So Cole where are you from, I’m from Kohnoha but I left after it was annexed.” Then he would answer any questions as possible and listen to the boy if he cared to answer.

Cole listened and watched as Q drink from the water in the pool at the oasis. He figured that he would do as much seeing how crazed he got out in the sun. cole was patient with him not rushing him figuring that it would be better if he took his time and recovered a bit from the sun. after a few moments Q spoke up telling cole that he was sorry about that and asked how he got moving so fast. “It's called the Body Flicker jutsu you push your chakra into your legs and feet and use it to propel you faster than you normally could go, and you get to top speed almost instantly.” cole would tell Q as he handed him one of coles canteens. They was both sitting on the cool sand under a tree by this point.

Cole sat and enjoyed the shade and cool breeze blowing through as he listened to Q tell him that he was from the leaf, but left when it was annexed. Cole had heard about it a while back, and he had been thinking about what they would do if the hidden mist decided to come over this way. His parents however had assured him that they would not do that. Because it would take to much from the army and they would have to retreat back or stay in the leaf either way for a while to recover their strength before they was able to mount an offense, and that the village had spies and scouts all over the place that would let us know before they was able to make it to the village.

Q than asked cole were he was from. Cole thought about it for a few minutes before telling him. “I come from the hoshi was born there and been out here for the past few days” cole would tell him. If Q pushed cole would give him a bit more info but not to much as to let him know what clan cole was from. Cole was a firm believer that you didn’t give much info to people.

As the man explained what was going on and the jutsu. Q thought that he needed to just give up on learning it and this conversation. He needed to get to the city in the distance. HE was finally done with what was doing on. Q would fill his canteen and get ready to leave. In his pack he had a small slab of pork, some bread and his two canteens full of water.

"Hey I must be off, the gate is probably opening soon." then unless the boy tried top stop him Q would put his sweater in his backpack and start to walk away. Once he was far enough away Q would start to run towards the gate hoping to get in that day. A new friend a new home it was his time to shine. If he couldn't get in Q would make the long track back to the borders and the home in the land of iron but he definitely didn't want to.

Cole explained the body flicker jutsu to Q but he didn’t seem all that interested in it at the time. Almost like he had something else he needed to be doing. Cole thought that it was ok he had other things to be doing as well. The chuunin tournament was coming up in a few days and he needed to get back. He wanted to become a chuunin so he would have more freedom in the village as well as more responsibility as well. The extra work would keep him out of the house and busy. While the extra freedom would allow him to hunt down the rest of the cult that killed his parents. Cole would stand at the same time that Q stood and they would say their goodbyes before heading off in different directions to the same village.
