Wind style: Air bullet training Empty Wind style: Air bullet training

Tue Apr 21, 2015 7:00 pm
Ishida stepped out from the forest, he was back in the Land of Fire for the first time in a few months. Regardless of the fact that he had previously left the country, Ishida was glad to be in familiar territory. Ishida wasn’t there to relax, he was preparing to attempt vigorous training. Ishida was forced to teach himself ninjutsu since he had no sensei, however all that did was motivate him to work harder. He was going to attempt to learn the fairly difficult jutsu ‘Air bullets’. He had once before seen the jutsu done by a fellow missing nin. Ishida was astonished by the damage it did, as it quickly defeated a group of chunin. Ishida, who had only known jutsu from the academy, was determined to learn the powerful wind style jutsu. Ishida approached a small group of trees that would make good targets. “Alright just gotta focus my chakra into my throat and try to spit it out.” Ishida took a deep breath and began to focus his chakra. He felt something in the pit of his stomach and tried to blow it out. It was a complete failure. The chakra Ishida had gathered wasn’t wind release chakra.  Realizing his mistake Ishida began to try again. This time he made sure the chakra he was focusing was that of wind release. Once he was sure it was he tried to push it out through his throat and mouth. However all the came out was a small gust of wind and a coughing fit.

“Alright new goal: form my chakra into balls,” Ishida spoke to himself doing his best to get focused. Although he knew the jutsu would be hard to learn his pride was somewhat hurt he hadn’t made more progress.  Ishida focused on gathering his chakra and once again formed it into the wind element; however he was still having trouble forming it into a ball. No matter how Ishida struggled he could not force his chakra into a bullet. Ishida was left pissed off knowing before he learned the jutsu he would have to better his control of wind release. In the academy one of the few lessons that Ishida paid attention to was that about a great hero who mastered wind release in a matter of days. Ishida was already fairly adept at controlling his chakra but he thought if he used the same training method he could reproduce the results even quicker. “In the lesson his sensei had told the class the legendary shinobi had used clones to speed up his training. The first step of said training was splitting a leaf with his chakra alone. Both Ishida and his clone began focusing their chakra on their respected leaf. Ishida was able to slightly split the leaf, maybe a quarter of the way through.

Ishida continued to focus his chakra on the leaf and was slowly but surely making progress in the splitting of the leaf. He had already learned basic wind control back in Konoha so he was able to do the training easier than most. Nevertheless, he broken into a sweat by the time the leaf was fully split. Ishida decided it was time to resume his Air bullet jutsu training. If only my stamina wasn’t low right now, Ishida thought as he plopped down onto the ground. It was his first time just staring out the clouds since he had left Konoha. As he felt tears welling up behind his eyes Ishida fiercely shook his head. “No, I’m better off this way,” Ishida said to himself. Ishida rose once again this time a new glint appeared in his eyes, he was determined to master this jutsu.

Ishida took a deep breath and began forming wind chakra inside him, once complete he began his attempt at making it into a ball. Ishida could feel it forming better than before, though still not perfect. “Wind Style: Air bullet!” This time as Ishida shot out the jutsu the wind chakra maintained its form somewhat. However, not only was it weakened due to it not being perfectly shaped but Ishida’s aim was also off, completely missing his tree targets. Ishida still counted this as a success as it was by far his best attempt. Ishida resolved himself to continue training as long as it took. Though he wasn’t sure if his stamina would hold out that long. Ishida’s only hope was that eventually after spamming it enough times he would get it right and then be able to reproduce it. It wasn’t the most effective training method but he didn’t know what else he could do. As the number of attempts and failures increased Ishida’s stamina continued to drain further and further. Thus he was forced to rest or face a possible death.

Wind style: Air bullet training Empty Re: Wind style: Air bullet training

Wed Apr 22, 2015 3:46 pm
Ishida sat resting in a sunny patch of grass, birds chirped and animals scurried around darting from tree to tree. There were a few clouds in the sky, but no sign of rain. There was even a nice breeze in the air. On any other day Ishida would appreciate the peace and quiet, as well as the serene scenery. But today all that was on his mind was his new jutsu he was working on. While he was able to mold his chakra correctly he was still having trouble launching a powerful attack. The powerful wind based jutsu was very different from any other technique Ishida had learned to date. At the moment he was barely able to sit up let alone launch a decent attack. His stomach was grumbling and he was in desperate need of a good nap. However, Ishida had vowed he wouldn’t leave his small clearing until he had mastered air bullets jutsu.

As Ishida lay down staring at the clouds he began contemplating what his problem could be. It wasn’t his amount of chakra and it also wasn’t due to his form, as he had already fixed it. Then it hit him. His problem was the very same thing that kept him from training at this very moment. His stamina and physical capabilities. Ishida dragged himself up, his body felt weak and he only was able to get on his feet through willpower alone. The clearing he had been training in was a perfect circle, Ishida estimated its circumference to be about 50 meters. Perfect for running laps. With no further hesitation Ishida took up a jog around the clearing. Ishida alternated between a jog and a sprint after every lap. His breathing was becoming more ragged after each sprint, yet Ishida didn’t let up. My bodies really declined since my academy days, Ishida thought meekly. He was upset at himself for not keeping up with the necessary exercises he had learnt in the academy. Ishida realized that even though he left the village that it was important to remember what he had learned.

As Ishida reached his 100th lap he fell to the ground gasping for air. He hadn’t done any serious physical training in months, but despite that he felt good. His leg muscles and lungs were screaming in pain, but he still felt good. It was if Ishida realized that even though the training was awful it was important and was helping him move towards his future goals. “I can do this,” Ishida rose up and immediately fell back down. “Maybe I should take another short rest,” Ishida said as he yawned and closed his eyes. Ishida began to reflect on the hours of training he had done for this jutsu. He was upset by the fact that he still had a large amount of training left to do. Still, Ishida had enjoyed this day. There were still a couple of hours of daylight left, and Ishida could feel his chakra finally coming back to him. He struggled to his feet, no longer suffering from a lack of chakra but now physical strain.

Ishida stood shakily on his feet, his overall fatigue from the days draining was piling up. He wanted to continue but wasn’t completely sure he could. Ishida always knew being a strong ninja was hard, but this hard? He felt like he would keel over at any moment. Despite this self-doubt Ishida was determined not to quit. He began molding the chakra inside his body, it was taking slightly longer than before due to his exhaustion, yet it was forming nicely. Ishida was feeling confident in his ability this time. He weaved the bird hand sign and shot out his jutsu. It’s shaping was perfect and Ishida could tell that it had more velocity than in his prior attempts. Of the three ‘bullets’ Ishida shot only one actually hit a tree. However, unlike before the tree sustained significant damage. Before his attacks when they happened to graze the tree they hardly left a mark. But on this occasion his attack left a fairly deep puncture into the tree trunk. As Ishida approached and inspected the damage he felt ecstatic. His attack would most definitely be a fatal blow if it landed. That was where his one problem still lay. Only hitting one target out of three was not nearly accurate enough. If it was a fight he would have been stabbed and killed, or worse. Taken prisoner and tortured. Ishida shuttered and walked back to his starting point. The shinobi world was kill or be killed even more so for a missing nin, and that was all the more reason why Ishida felt he must master this jutsu. He never knew when he would be forced to use it.

Wind style: Air bullet training Empty Re: Wind style: Air bullet training

Wed Apr 22, 2015 6:58 pm
Ishida began to refocus himself, he was tired and just wanted to be done with this training of his. Even though he wanted to be done he wouldn’t cut any corners. He couldn’t afford to. Not with his life the way it was now. As detestable as some people might think it was he needed the power to kill in order to not only survive, but also to thrive. Ishida began to mold his chakra again, it felt like he had done this about 100 times already. Nonetheless he still felt confident he could produce the proper amount of chakra despite his ever rising fatigue. As the chakra turned into wind nature Ishida proceeded to form it into three perfect bullets. Once they were shaped into an optimal size Ishida preformed the bird seal and spit out the three bullets. More so than in his previous attempts Ishida put an emphasis on his aim, and less on power. This was because after his last attempt he was confident in his jutsu’s piercing power. Anything that could penetrate a tree that deeply was more than strong enough to kill a person.

On this particular attempt his jutsu actually hit all three targets. The trio of trees not had small holes going about ten inches deep. Over halfway through the thick tree trunks. Ishida sunk to his knees and burst out in laughter despite his exhaustion. He finally did it. Three bullets and three hits. Now it’s true that the trees weren’t moving but for now Ishida felt this was more than good enough. He had improved tremendously throughout the day. He went from barely being able to make a gust of wind, let alone powerful bullets to leaving three deep wounds into his targets. Not only did Ishida’s confidence skyrocket but so did his physical and chakra capabilities. The aftermath left him barely able to move, but as of now Ishida wasn’t worried about minor things like his well-being. “I made more progress today than I did at that boring academy,” Ishida said with a wide grin. Though life was tough for a twelve year old living by himself, times like this made him glad he left the village. Life on his own was more fulfilling, not to mention he wasn’t bothered by annoying people all day. Ishida just then realized it had gotten dark outside, meaning he literally spent all of his day training. “Guess I should go find some food,” Ishida said as he slowly walked towards civilization and out of the woods.
