Fire and Ice (P, NK)

The pinkette decided that today was the day that she would go running. She needed to train both her stamina and work on becoming faster as well. She had ran quite a far distance today and now she was wandering around. She was sort of lost by now, but she didn't mid it. Being alone wasn't so bad and she actually enjoyed not having people yelling curses at her. Mayu couldn't stand most people anyway. They all hated or feared her.

It wasn't her fault that she killed her father. It was an accident. The girl laughed at her feeble attempt to lie to herself. She knew that she had killed him on purpose. At the time she was scared, though. She was only six after all. The man who raised her had pushed her too far and she... snapped. Six-year-old Mayu hadn't even known what she had done. She didn't know she had such power.

"That's enough of that. The past is just that. Past. The time is now." She reminded herself. The pinkette looked around and noted that she was completely lost. "Lovely." She sighed.

She jumped up and grabbed a tree branch, hoisting herself upwards and climbing to the very top. She could see a lot from her tree. She saw the Volcano village in the distance and smiled, deciding not to worry about it. Mayu could find her way back easily. She began to run through the trees in the different direction, every so often jumping up wards and swinging from branch to branch and then returning back to jumping and running.

The girl laughed as she did so, actually having a little fun racing through the trees, free and careless. She tripped over a branch at one point, falling to the ground. She hit the forest floor hard and rolled until she hit a tree, stopping fully. "Ow.." She moaned, holding a hand to her head. "That was not a good idea.."

Mayu got up and leaned against the tree, breathing heavily. She tightened her ponytail and then dusted off her clothes; a black t-shirt and red shorts. She sighed and looked around, suddenly heightening her senses to see if she could sense any ninja in the area. She was on the borders and there could be ninja from any village around. She wasn't even a Genin yet, any other ninja could easily.... She shook her head. Mayu was stronger than normal Academy Students. She would be just fine.

A young boy not to far from the girl, watched as she approached his area. His eyes spinning and watching her movements before they actually happened. Suddenly she fell and began to roll to a tree. With her eyes closed he would slowly walk with her. Disappearing for a second as she stood up and then reappearing in front of her as she dusted herself off. He would just stare at the girl and say not one thing. His hand reaching to his back and slowly unsheathing his blade as he would utter the words. "young girl of the volcano village..... show me your power." Suddenly he would slash at the top of the girls head, missing her by 2 inches and striking the bark off of the tree she stood in front of. His eyes would be dull with blood and his skin pale, as he fought without his armor at this time, showing his bare chest, and white as snow skin. A spar was to start without consideration of the young girl.
