In search of a purpose... (Open)

The Yakedo hasn't been able to sleep for a while, let alone dream. He has been tossing and turning as if there is an itch right beneath his skin. Sometimes, he would pray to God to take him from the hell that he is in. But every morning he would wake up and be suffocated by his parents, his brothers, and the staff that serve his family. Be on time. Smile. Act properly. Don't show any other emotion but modest joy. Kaimera felt like he was in some sort of game. He didn't want to make a scene or rather, have them calling him a drama queen as they usually do to his outburst that always seemed to happen behind closed doors. He could barely breathe as he had to put up this facade of happiness in front of the social elites that had gathered in his home. Quick hellos and bows with recognition of social status were common greetings.

He was placed somewhere in the middle of the long mahogany wood table. His father, of course, sat at the very head of this table with his mother and older brother sat opposite to his sides. Laughter and chatter filled the room as people talked about numerous things that Kaimera didn't seem to care about. The food was, of course, wonderful, but he would rather just have a plain genki burger. All these expensive, traditional foods that he has grown accustomed to did not work on his taste buds like various junk foods would. It wasn't before too long that everyone would be too amerce in their ideals and conversation that they wouldn't notice the small Kaimera slide away from the table and exit the room unseen.

That is how his days usually have gone, but now he was in the forefront of a conversation. Cheaply made food with cheaply made drinks brought Kaimera to his most comfortable. Even with his more apparent headstrong personality clashing and/or intertwining with those surrounding him. He didn’t have to put up that facade that he was so used to doing. It was a nice change of motion to the repetitive and aristocratic ways.

A smirk curved over his lips at the requited feelings of Izu came in the form of a hook, line, and sinker. Did he believe everything he said, well, perhaps in the future he will. Of course, he considered her a pretty girl, he’s not going to take that away from her. But the path ahead of them is a dangerous route; especially with how events have been failing around the world. That type of love isn’t going to be acquired any time soon. Perhaps she would have a better time with Jay as it appears the two share a mutual history along with ideals. Something that won’t be a major conflict down the road.

“So, you’re the infamous ex-mizukage. Your reign was quite short-lived, was it not? How unfortunate the circumstances are for you. Perhaps you can gain knowledge and experience by dedicating your time to teaching us, your successors, whereas your predecessors have failed you in certain areas.” Kaimera said as he softened his eyes as his smile turned gentle. Maybe the redhead had been too harsh with his words with someone he has beaten death and come back with a stronger resolve. He might have lost, but a small amount of respect for the white-haired ninja has grown inside Kaimera.

“Missions would be good. While you guys say I’m confident, I understand my abilities, or lack thereof. The exposure and intellectual advantage for doing that; plus, being under your tutelage, would do me some good. Do us all some good. I definitely could gain something worthy from Izu and Jay.” He said as he turned to look at both fellow genin as a voice began to feel sincere. Karimera’s personality has shifted completely from the cynical mindset that he started off with to something more kindred. However, not only has his personality shifted, but so did the aura of the room as an individual walked in. A sense of dread and nervousness filled the air. It wouldn’t take a complete genius to figure out who this person was. The sole dictator to this village. ‘Wait, didn’t Shiro say he had help from an ally? So, is he the ally or is this the Akabayashi that Shiro spoke of?’ Kaimera thought as the red-haired man approached by secluding himself to a table near them but not before saying something to the elder Hyuga.

Taking a sip of his beverage, he continued to eye the man, taking in his person and his insecurities. The burning in his abdomen forced him to take his gaze off the man and turn his attention back to the group. “So, you said something about missions? Did you have something in mind? Or would you like to take us to the training facility to see who we each operate?” Kaimera said as a look of curiosity overcame his facial features.

Izu noded at the request to train and do missions together as a team with the other members. She was eager to learn to know Jay, Kaimera and Shiro, and to finally start her life as a true shinobi of Kirigakure. She was also happy as she saw the opportunity to both make friend and maybe more, and to also get to know her family better. A lot of questions had been unveiled, and Izu was looking forward to have answers to them. 

''Well I guess training wouldn't hurt! Especialy if we can discuss our family while doing so, sensei Shiro.''  said Izu. It was the first time she refered to Shiro as, ''sensei''. it was a fitting tittle. Maybe one day it would change to be brother, but for now, sensei felt good and right, as he was gonna be the master and teacher of the trio. Izu was happy about it. The former Mizukage, a righteous member and leader of the people of Kirigakure, was going to train her. It was perfect.

At that moment, a presence could be felt troughout the establishment. All of the people inside reacted to whom just entered, and Izu noticed pretty rapidly too who it was. It was none other than the usurper Mizukage, Akabayashi Terumi. He was accompagnied by another individual who was equaly scary to the Mizukage, and Izu noticed he also had the same eye than the mizukage, the rinnegan. Izu immediately felt unconfortable, as if she paranoid over the fact that he knew her toughts and opinions over him. As she was a true Kirigakure nationalist who was raised in a way to hate foreigners and to be a proud ninja of the hidden mist, she was feeling unwell by their presence. She despised him even tho not knowing him personnaly. As Kaimera continued to speak about how missions would be good and training too, she only could shake her head in agreement, seemingly the only one to notice or to care that the guy they just trashed talk for a few minutes just walked into the very place they were dining. 

''yeah, its a good idea! For now guys I think im done. I just lost my appetite. I'll see you later.''  said in a low, lazy and calm voice the young girl as she looked toward the new arrival at the restaurant. Inside of her, she was stressed and unconfortable. She'd rather leave and contact her sensei and team mates later to discuss this than to talk and expose herself in a public place. It was also getting late, and she wanted to take up some evening time to read some more on the techniques she was studying and trying to do.

Izu got up in a slow and calm maner, usual to her lazy and relaxed demeanor, with her hands almost always in the pocket of her oversized jacket. As she got up to leave, she did a small smile to her team member, as to signal that she was happy and eager to form a team with them, and murmured in the ear of Kaimera : ''come see me whenever you want''  in a calm, suave and soothing voice. She continued towards the exit of the restaurant, and looked towards the Mizukage she didnt like with the most serious and stone cold face, trully showing how she had a resting bitch face that was serious. She couldnt resist giving ''the look'' to the Mizukage, as a way even tho subtle to express that she wasnt afrais to oppose him and look right into his rinnegan eyes. She then broke eye contact a few seconds afterwards, and left without saying a word, her hands still in her pockets, walking slowly in the night, in a casual way, as if she wasnt impressed.

He remembered the times in which he would have actually trained inside of the forests surrounding Kirigakure with his Sensei Youai. Her blue hair flowed in the winds when they jumped around the forest in order to train and learn. She was an excellent user in the art of swordsmanship. She had taught him almost every form of Shimi Daikon that she had known up to that point. The dark green forest that they constantly would sit by, seeing the stars together, learning about one another. It was always nice to have someone that would look out for him, someone who he’d consider to be a mentor… and even family at one point. Yet all of that had washed away when the confrontation at the gates had occurred. His failure had led into ruin and desolation as a result of his own shortcomings as a leader. The most he could say was that he fought.

Yet that was not going to get him anywhere in life if he kept on saying he did something. He felt empty afterwards, only resting and getting accustomed to his lack of his Byakugan on one of his eyes. He’d obtain his Byakugan back. One way or another he’d have both Byakugan again. It was a goal of his to be complete, in both mind, body, and soul. He could not be the “One Eyed Hyuga” forever. Even if the title was definitely a cool one to have in the future. It was not sustainable. Just like his Kageship was not sustainable. He had no real allies to call his own. He had lost sight of what truly made things work inside of a village. Even then, his newest group of comrades had welcomed him in. Kaimera’s own tone even changed slightly as a result of learning that he had supposedly died on that battlefield. Reborn again as the One Eyed Hyuga. It was because of this that he could only begin to start discussing Missions. When a familiar presence made itself known throughout the room. One that Shiro would meet with Open arms, instead of at the end of his sword.

“Ah Lord 7th. It’s a pleasure as always. Would you mind giving some, small suggestions as to what missions me and my new Squad of Genin should do? As I recall, you are a decorated Shinobi inside of Hoshigakure?” He did make note of the swirling eyes that the man had active, almost as if it was to truly show dominance of who’s dojutsu was superior. Not only that, but Shiro could see the path as well that was lurking by. The sense of uneasiness not leaving the air as he decided to continue discussing missions with his Shinobi… Right as Izu seemingly would get up once the Mizukage had made his presence known to the table. Shiro could only shrug towards his Sister… He was very happy to be called Sensei by her. It made him feel better about training all three of them. Since she would not refer to him as a brother in front of the other two. Yet seeing her begin to leave, while her cold, resting bitch face was directed towards Akabayashi made him smirk. Deciding to roll with it as he’d explain to the two of them about what he wanted them to do for missions, and to also hopefully have their Mizukages input on what good missions the Genin should be able to run through. It was a slight challenge, to see if the Mizukage really did care about the village. Yet the showcase of pure strength from those gauntlets alone. The people have already gone back to eating with the two Shinobi sitting in one diner.

Once Shiro had informed both Jay and Kai about the mission line up they were to be doing together. He made a small list of missions, mostly E-Ranks. That the group could do together. He had made a third one for Izu just in case. Doing his best to make sure that all three of his students were in proper form and readiness for the coming missions. As they’d be of at least B-Rank to truly showcase their own abilities in dangerous situations.

“I’ll be seeing you soon, if you wish to contact me. I’m inside of the old Yuki compound reserve home. I’m sure you already know where that is Jay, if not, ask one of your elders. They already know about my existence. So I'll be seeing you all soon."

With that, the previous Mizukage would give a small nod towards Akabayashi. Just as he was about to leave, he unloaded a bag full of Ryo from his pocket. Placing it down on the table he was sitting at for the waitress. Giving a small glance towards Akabayashi that he should do the same once he leaves as well. Exiting out of the diner with a small smile plastered on his face. He was so excited for these new prospects. All of these new allies were amazing for Kiri. They just needed to get a bit stronger, then nothing would stand in their way.

It seemed he was to be largely ignored by everyone but Shiro and the one girl who stared at him. Shiro reponded kindly. "Hmm, good question I haven't had the opportunity to look over the list of available missions yet. I assume there are some simple ones for genin. I would recommend those and when you think they are capable take them out hunting low level bandits. Your judgment seems capable. "

After speaking to Shiro the doctor would order food, eat, and pay. Then leave
