Finally They Arrived

The carriage ride was silent for the most part. While he was in the company of comrades, he had remained in his meditative state for the entire ride preparing himself. It had been years since he had laid eyes on the village Sunagakure, longer than he has seen his family. Were they still there? Would they recognize their own kin? There were a multitude of questions, but he was not here for any of that. He felt the carriage come to a stop and his sunset colored eyes opened as he took in a deep breathe and took in the warm, desert air. Standing up he would retrieve his sword and step out of the carriage looking around for just a moment. There had been a furrow of his brows as he pointed in the direction of where he had remembered the village, but nothing was there within his vision," This was not here before...we would have been able to glimpse the village but instead this...abomination stands before," there was an audible distaste in his voice has he nestled his sword back onto the left side of his hip. Something was definitely different, but he couldn't put his finger on why. Looking back to Aoki he would see what or how they would travel to the village together.

As the carriage came to a stop, the neighing of the horses alerts those within. The Demon opened his eyes, revealing his crimson orbs with three tomoes as he first notice Iscarot. His newly appointed Chief of Police, he was clearly upset by what he was observing. His eyes would shift to Yachiru whom only displayed a face of stoic muse. She, too, peered out the window of the carriage to take interest in the bizarrely beautiful scenery. And so the Demon would turn his eyes to the outside. There he would see an oasis, where the village should be. How odd, he would think to himself as this was not here a few months ago…

“Fascinating, they’ve either uprooted the entire village and left an oasis in its place, or this is not what it seems.”

He suggested something more, hinting towards an illusion as it was the most plausible go to. The Demon would beckon them to follow him out of the carriage which they did without issue. They all stood some ways away, but enough to stir clear of the raging storm of sand. Whatever this was, it was strong enough to blockout his Sharingan illusionary decipher. Was this truly a Genjutsu? He was certain that he was correct in his presumption.

Without fail he managed to release the Genjutsu’s visual effects allowing him to see the village manifest as the oasis shimmers out.

“Ah, yes…it is as I figured. This is a Genjutsu. But to effect our senses from this range means that it’s quite the defense. I would wager that there is more to this than we can see. And if that is the case…”

He dark purple ethereal flames would erect from the body and armor of the Senju. He conjured a 50 meter tall, uniquely double sided conjoined along the spine with two distinctive faces Susanoo. The front face has elongated canines in its upper jaw bracket and two tusk growing from the lower jaw, while the back face has similar elongated canine teeth from its lower jaw, and two long horns protruding from its forehead. It then shifted two more times as the heads merge into one, gaining a long Tengu nose and two lines running down from its mouth to its chin area, as well as hair which is tied up at the sides. In its perfected form it resembled that of a Tempestuous God, but this one seemed to be corrupted some how.

The Demon was encased in a Crystal within the head of the Susanoo, as well as Yachiru and Iscarot.

“Such a defense is understandable. I commend them for being wise enough to create such a thing, however this comes off more as an attack on visitors than a defensive response. I feel…slighted.”

The Susanoo would launch itself into the air at a speed of 150 as its wings opened and expand to initiate its flight and additionally 50 meters off the ground placing them 100 meters within the air as it began to fly towards the village gates. The demon carried a smile of malicious intent.
