Teaching A New Dog Old Tricks [Training / Private]

Arantima proceeded to pick up the lifeless body of Bunta and drag it behind him as he approached Kaito. The young inuzuka was still hyperventilating as the events of the last few minutes were all blacked out from his memory.

'What the hell happened?' He asked himself again as Arantima positioned himself to stand above him. The body he carried disappeared in a spiraling wind that one could easily tell was the channeling of the 'Basic Sealing Jutsu' as he refreshed this regular, non-maniacal Kaito of what had happened. Kaito stood to his feet as the older boy went on with his tale.

"I saved you?" He asked, not bothering to brush the sand and mud from himself. Arantima, not answering the question, advised the younger Genin that the two of them should stop their session for the day and take the time to reflect the best that they could on all of what happened. He went to gather his belongings, leaving Kaito just as confused and concerned as he had been before. He looked back down at his hands, still covered in blood, before looking up into the skies above. The rain continued to fall much harder now and would surly do a fine job of masking the tears that began to fall from the boy's eyes. He had just killed a man, but that very man had killed his best friend years before and just tried to kill himself and Arantima.

Were his actions really that bad, though? It was self defense, after all.

As he looked back down from the clouds and over at Arantima he could see the boy nod at him before walking back over towards the gates. Kaito just held his position until he knew that Arantima was well out of earshot and out of sight. When he felt the moment was right, he let out a gut retching cry; one that echoed throughout the entirety of the Sixth Training Grounds. As the scream of terror and sadness escaped him, he let himself fall upon his knees into a muddy puddle on the ground. He allowed himself to cry now with no holding back. Arantima would be more than correct; these events would turely make or break the young Inuzuka...
