Watching the tea spill (observation)

This topic is tied to the kage summit topic and are taking place at the same time in the same room.
“Don’t fear lord third, that kettle is in a safe place now” he would tell Murata with a bit of a smile he hid behind a tea cup when she poked him. Upon contact, he saw the view of kiri at night shining all around the bay. Unsure what it was, he knew it had to be something that Murata did. He didn’t have time to think too much on the matter as shortly after Ishimaru, the third Hokage walked in. While Travin didn’t know much about the man, he did know who he was from the reports. He listened to the pair exchange pleasantries before Murata turned over the corpse of a foolish boy who thought he could storm the gates of kiri alone. At least that was the story that floated around the village of the incident, but Travin knew how rumors went and only took at with a grain of salt.
Travin momentarily stopped drinking his tea when the Anbu guard of the third Hokage spoke in what he felt was extreme disrespect. However, he settled back down and went back to enjoying his tea once the Hokage put her in place. It would seem that at least the third knew how things went in diplomacy. He couldn’t blame him for brining the guard he chose, he probably brought his most powerful shinobi, and Travin would be un able to tell just how powerful she was thanks to the seal on the table, but he knew that most of the well established shinobi fled the village leaving it crippled for talent.
It was not long after the exchange of the body that the Kazakage arrived. Travin had never met the women, but he knew of here, just like most people knew of all the kage’s. At this point, she lived up to her reputation, a beauty to behold for sure with an attitude, but Travin knew that she was more than able to back up her threats. He was unsure on how to take her as she gave back compliments that could be taken as sarcasm to Murata and straight up disrespected Ishimaru.
Travin’s heartbeat if the women were to listen would remain calm and carefree as if he was tanning on a beach somewhere without a care in the world. Even though he was in a room with some of the most powerful shinobi in the known world. It was as if he couldn't care less, he listened as Ishimaru tried to jab back at the Kazakage but Travin thought that she won that exchange. It would also seem that Murata was wanting to wait on the last Kage to arrive before they really got this meeting going, and Travin couldn’t wait to see just where this all lead. He felt it would either lead them to a peace of some kind or all out war, and it was a bit exciting.

So far…things were going pretty smoothly, all things considered. Souji, mindfully keeping an eye on everyone as words were exchanged, pleasantries alongside. There were a number of things that the Hyuuga noticed, one being the odd sword that was near the new Mizukage’s side, it had a unique chakra circulating through it. There was a clear link between it and it’s owner — not to mention the peering eyes of the Mizukage, suspiciously gauging Souji. The Chunin would then then slightly tilt his head to the left, his hair away to the side and revealing his Byakugan to her. If the gaze of his mother was enough to make her feel naked, than the peak of his single eye would make her feel defiled as he was opening invading her from the inside and out. He would then shift his eyes over to her guard, a man that was new to him. Unlike his lord, who Souji recalled at the village of Hoshi with that Ban chick? He couldn’t put a thought to this guy.
His eye would then flicker about, newcomers a few floors below. He would see the chakra that cascades from one of them, if not both. There was no need to bring this to his lord’s attention as he noticed that her own Byakugan was active and she would have seen this too. The Byakugan was a Sensory Doujutsu of A to S rank power, very much arguable. Capable of seeing up to 100 meters passively, and one mile at a telescopic level when all movement was abandoned. The power of his gifted eye to her was comparable to a child opening a gift for the very first time, he knew that she was most deserving of his eye, the eye of a noble blooded Hyuuga. If one was to ask, she was more of a Hyuuga than he was, much more deserving.
His eye would then grasp the new Hokage and their guard. Souji, being a former member of leaf would recall the faces of all there, but this one, this guy he did not know. “He must be new to the seat, hell, the entire village. So it’s that easy to claim the seat that no one wants, or rather that no one can persevere. From my knowledge, there was Wan, Ita and now this guy. A cycle of incompetence at best. I’d be surprised if he can managed to raise a brow from the new Mizukage with his offer.” He would think, being mindful of not allowing his thoughts to be voiced, not at a time like this. Seeing as his mother was being more blunt for the both of them.
The newcomers would enter and Souji would give them a detached glanced. In that time, he was highly observant of them both. The white flames of wisps would flicker about his head as he acknowledged them both, before turning his focus back to his mother — despite his awareness being 360 degrees ranging up to 100 meters.

Travin stood and watched the other guards and kage’s around the table. He watched the Kazakage and Hokage both take jabs at each other till the Kumo delegation arrived, and Murata explaining why Kumo was invited. Travin knew of course but they others probably didn’t but most likely had drawn up the reasons as it was not very complex. However, when Mizuki spoke of lord third with such disrespect, his heartbeat would quicken for a second as thoughts of killing her for the disrespect crossed his mind before he settled down within the same second. A small blip on the radar of his otherwise calm and cool self at this point.
The door opened and in walked two men dressed all in black from head to toe, not an inch of skin showing anywhere. Travins attention was instantly drawn to these two, it had to be the Kumo delegation. With one taking off his mask, Travin didn’t know the man, but that was expected, he had never made his way to Kumo or meet any of their shinobi. However, this man quickly made Travin want to meet him with his entrance. It wasn’t so much how he entered the room, which was impressive, but more his opening lines. Travin almost shot his tea out, his nose, with a small chuckle to his par-tea joke. Thinking that I got to meet this guy at this point before regaining his composer.
It seemed that the first topic up would be what happened at the chunin exams. A topic that made his skin crawl, having been there and seen what had been done to his friend. While his own stay was comfortable, it turned out that they had kept his friend Kita in prison for months with little food, water, and a good bit of torture. However, it turned out that according to the Hokage they had not even been informed about it. Making Travin wonder just what all Fu would be going through over all this time. The Kazekage elaborated on the topic, saying that the Hogokage decided to just go to upper management. Travin couldn’t tell if it was another jab at lord second or the Hokage, but he didn’t like it either way, and was really starting to not like the women. The tension was broken once more by Ichigo, who recommended a letter to Hoshi to settle it out.
The next topic was the freedom of Konoha. A topic that everyone knew was going to come up, it was only a matter of time when. Ishimaru spoke politely but confidently Travin thought on the topic, it was clear he didn’t want to go to war for it and was willing to bargain. Travin could tell that while the Hokage spoke, the Kazekage seemed to be loosing her composer slightly, gripping the chair, and becoming far more active in movement and less like a corpse. Travin kept his eye on her and her guard, as they seemed to be the ones that would start something at this point if something was to be started. He simply watched the duo as he waited for Murata to answer.

The sudden increase of fluctuations from the heart did not go unnoticed by the Prince of the Sands. The Byakugan would see it as clear as day, Souji appropriately shifting his gaze over to Travin. “Oi oi oi, what has you all riled up, mister wizard?” He addressed the Kiri Jounin, his gaze fully analyzing him, inside and out. The very chakra that flows through him. Though Souji’s posture did not change, his hands stayed at his side within his pockets, his footing supporting a nonchalant disposition, but that did not mean he was going to be behind if something was to start. This was the first time he spoke within the presence of the others. The white and silver flames that replaced his right eye behind the patch would manifest those lingering wisps yet again.
Souji understands much than he leads others to believe. He saw everything from his mother’s trying hand and gradual leveling of annoyance with all that was taking place. But he was not there to correct her, no. He wouldn’t do her such shame, or humiliation in the presence of others. It would make her look weak, plus she was a big girl, she knew what she was doing. What he was there to do was to protect her from her own physical actions, as well as the others. Keeping her in check so that she wouldn’t besmirch the Suna name due to her clan’s impulses. But it shouldn’t be misunderstood, Souji couldn’t care less of how it would look for Suna, just how it would look for Mizu.
