Hunter Games Round I - Gael vs. Shoko

Gael's elevation-related ear problems will not save him. Shoko's clap is loud and clear, resounding from a mere five meters away. He doesn't need to hear her 'properly' for her Genjutsu to take effect, only hear her at all, and the pressure differential would not totally deafen him. Shoko and her rival are locked in place, and Ohi slithers around with an inquisitive flick of the tongue, waiting for his chance to wrap around him the moment his shield drops and end the fight. Meanwhile, Gael is trapped in a heated duel with the illusory cats, who duck and weave around his imagined flung shuriken. It is very dramatic and cool, for fighting a herd of felines.

Claiming hit on Cat Genjutsu on account of the fact that air pressure plugging the ears doesn't totally deafen you, in addition to the fact that such a convenient accident in Gael's favour would likely be grounds for a void.

The stalemate continues, both combatants frozen in place, Ohi waiting for Gael's barrier to go down so he and his summoner can secure their victory.

Gael's chakra barrier reaches the end of its duration. As soon as it goes down, Ohi leaps forward, constricting around Gael - pinning his arms and hands to his sides with palms facing down, preventing him from moving them or using handseals due to the snake's superior strength. In addition, the snake binds his legs together, keeping him from moving. Once he is fully ensnared by her summon, Shoko releases her Cat Genjutsu, and Gael returns to reality to find himself snakebound and with a spear to his throat.

"Ready to surrender?" Shoko says, a little uneasily, unsure as to whether this is truly the end - but, seemingly, she has the other Uchiha at her mercy.

My name is Gael Uchiha, and right now I can't believe I am back here. In those brief moments that the proctor declares Gael lost. The crowd cheers the battle was over between both Uchiha. So many mistakes, throughout the battle for both sides however, it was Gael that felt truly weak. The match took a toll on Gael, and that Genjutsu even though it was weak. Gael couldn't carefully break because he didn't properly train himself to break genjutsu.

That was Gael's fault even though he had properly trained for this event, and he had forgotten one of the basics. Well, the cost of this ignorance mistake was the traumatic mental experience of Shoko cats.

The toll of the mental struggle had left Gael in an incomplete state his body felt heavy. He was drained his body felt weak due to the duration of the fight. Time somehow escape Gael, and believe it or not his pride was somehow shattered.

Gael's body drops upon Shoko releasing her Genjutsu he wasn't in the best condition. Gael's mind for a brief moment once again zone out, and a mental image representing himself appeared within the white void world.

Directly across from him was his trustee mentor who had a round plum body. His face color was gray and he had a goblin-like face with a pair of long ears. Along the bridge of his nose, he wore a pair of golden pince-nez glasses. His mouth was a large rectangular-shaped mouth that appears stuck in a perpetual grin this creature's face was demonic in appearance.

How did Gael get back here? He remembers just a few moments ago he was in the arena at the Genin tournament. Now he was trapped within his mind directly standing in front of him was this same creature he had met not long ago. If he remembers correctly Gael had met this being before leaving the mansion. If had remembered correctly the being had met him before in his mind not too long ago. However, Gael didn't recall the first time he met this figure but he did remember the last time.

Whatever happened between the first talks he talked with this figure he had not to remember. But he did remember the last time he talked with him however brief it was it made impression on the shinobi.

It was hard to leave an impression on Gael if he had remembered correctly the last time they talked. The being currently before him was in a runt talking about all his hard work lost. That cause Gael to think was his hard work the fast progress of his training. 

Before him, the figure sight, and shake his head in disapproval as he said," Well that the drawback with me kid. If you can't win against this poor lad who didn't have much of experience than you. How can you say you are truly a prodigy? How did you allow yourself to be beaten, and embarrass your clan?"

The entity before Gael seems disappointed as he rubs his bare chin as steps a bit closer to Gael. Currently, they were just 3 meters apart but the entity had several steps forward halting at the 2-meter mark. He had cleared his voice, and said, " Didn't I give you power? Didn't I properly train you? I award you here and took you under my wing. Is this how you repay me?"

Gael wanted to speak but he didn't have the energy. His mind mentally drains due to being exposed to Shoko's genjutsu. But he didn't have to speak the entity understood how Gael feel.

Honestly, it can't be helped the entity knew that this time he would have to train Gael correctly. Otherwise, it won't be a point in other words he would work in vain like before. But not this time clearing his voice the entity chuckle, and said, " Good at least you understand not to talk but to listen. My name is Adam, and I am here to help you reclaim your power."

Adam had pointed at Gael's body for whatever reason he reach out his hand. In that brief moment, a surge of energy replenishes Gael enough for him to stand upright from the previous position along with his knee.
At that moment Gael was able to stand, and face the being known as Adam.

He could clearly understand the anger behind the lad. Who suggests that he had personally trained him, and is disappointed in Gael's failure as a whole. But it got to be a reason why Gael was here now before this creature again. Did he die or was his body in a state that near-death triggered this figure before him.

Adam grin, and said," It is okay because before at our first meeting.  I broke the rules, and the result is this pitiful state you are in. But don't worry lad they say the third time the charm, and with your current development, the road of redemption was right before you Gael. All Gael had to do was grab hold of it, and start the journey back to your destiny."

Gael had taken the hand that Adam had held out for him using it to pull himself up. So he could properly stand like a man at that moment he took Adam's hand. Something strange happen the white world spilt in half one the sky was pitch dark, and the floor that they stood on was all white. Letting go of Adam's hand, and stepping back 1 foot upon doing so within the sky manifest a single full moon.

Adam had grinned once again clearing his voice so he could speak again. "So what do you say I have a look at ya kiddo at of current state?" Once again maintaining the same hand his eyes flicker golden momentarily as he studies his student body.

Adam made several noises as he examine Gael's physical, and bloodline trait progress. It wasn't to the standard that Adam had liked, and time was short. His window of being in this world wouldn't be long  Adam had rules to follow, and strictly bond by law. Before he had broken them to properly train this lad, and take him in as his own.

However, in doing so Adam had caused superior forces to act. Which result cause Gael not to receive the full benefits of the training that Adam had put him through before. But Adam had a workaround that why he was back for the third time that why he had summoned the formerly weaken Gael here.

Due to the rules of the superior force, Adam was short on time being in this place within Gael's mind. Being here was a direct violation of Hades' rules. You see Adam has already passed away from this world. Well not dying by the correct world was ascending to a higher level of power. His body though it was physically someplace else his soul travel the mortal world in hopes of either haunting this foe or training his peers.

Adam's reason for bothering Gael was simple through Gael he could once again live. If he somehow molds this Uchiha into a powerful being then one day he could maybe bring him back to this world or even make it better. However, Adam's powers were restricted due to the amount of power he had to use to manifest, and travel to Gael's mind.

So truly he was limited but that didn't stop him before he won't let it stop him again. However, with the superior being watchful of Adam's interference with the mortal world he had to act carefully otherwise occur their wrath.

Looking at Gael's state now he could see that the young Uchiha have been indeed practicing several jutsu and skills. It also seems he has unlocked up to tomoe 2 of his abilities within his clan. To be honest, Adam has a great deal of understanding of Gael, and his clan is indeed powerful.

Not to mention if he was able to fully grasp this power then Gael would be unstoppable. The only issue is the method of how Adam was going to instill into the youngling. Tough times cause for a more hands-on approach if Gael had come to him earlier then maybe he could do more.

But it seems Gael only finds himself hereupon either being summoned or being in a state of sleep and or a state of being exhaustive. Which Gael's body was currently in it seems the superior forces had indeed cut the growth of how Gael had trained before this match.

This development had put Gael off track several times, and it cause Adam to step in, and do what he can do. His job currently was to properly restore Gael to his former state since currently he feel within Gael that he had just lost half of his skills. He had felt obligated to aid him, and he felt like it was his fault anyway that the poor lad was in the current state that he was in.

But the real question is if Adam restores him would Gael be back to normal or will something more happen? Well that can't be helped right now Adam had to focus on Gael like he stated before his time was limited so he had to make the best out of the time, and power he had left to aid this lad.

To be honest Adam wants nothing more but to piss off the forces holding him back. The feeling he would get from making pissing off his superiors makes him feel warm and cozy inside. This emotion came to form the hundred no thousands of years he has been tortured in hell.

Now it was time to make something that would turn hell upside down. He wanted to make the gods pay for his death using the very mortal that they love so dearly as his pawn. If he was able to somehow convince Gael that these forces are against him. Maybe he could mold Gael into a capable warrior but there limit to his powers.

Only through mental training could one achieve the power he can bestow upon them. It also other factors that have to be met was the willingness of his comrade, and knowledge of him. Using this place as mental training one can achieve great powers if they can successfully unlock what they learn in the real world.

It seems Gael had that skill, and Adam knew that why he had bothered to deal with this mortal. That, and the fact that he didn't have anything else better to do but to make the gods mad at him. Now it was time to start this young man training it was now time to restore him to either his former glory or beyond that limits.

How? Well in this place Adam and Gael hold unique powers to change this very world into their image. Using this ability Adam, and Gael can manifest anything that needs within this mental world. But this place could be seen as a prison to one mind if they are captured here.

Gael recently just experience what it was like to fight against other person minds. The number of will powers required took a toll on Gael and left him in a weakened state. Being that Gael didn't have a teacher most of his knowledge came from books or members of the village he met for brief moments.

That wasn't enough to probably mold Gael into a capable warrior but at best average. That is not what Gael nor Adam strife for they wanted to make him strong. To be honest strong was not enough he had to become stronger than strong he had to place himself above average, and become elite.

Gael wants nothing more but to be a capable warrior in which case restores his pride. His first loss had indeed upset him the number of mistakes that occur replayed in mind. Now his mistakes haunted him, and it was up to Gael along with Adam to repair his mental state.

Now whether they are capable of doing so is purely up to them both. But if the right amount of training that that could happen at this very place. In this very world, time moves way slower than in the real world. Just 12 seconds in the outside world is 1 year in this world with a snap of Adam's finger the world begins to take shape.

The once white floor turns green as several thousands of pieces of grass form. Along the once dark sky filled with a single moon was replaced with bright blue sky with several clouds. The moon remain at its position, however, not too far from it was the sun that shone directly above them.

Their surroundings begin to take shape of empty grass plains with a few hills. These changes happen quickly as they did so Adam return his hand to his side as he examine the area around him.

Looking at his work carefully he seems somewhat please with his development of this fake world. This place would be perfect for Gael to unlock his true potential a year in this place would surely be enough for Gael to complete his training. This would restore, and maybe make him stronger than before if everything goes smooth.

But fate has a funny way of acting the first time Adam, and Gael did this method. It was invalid causing Gael not to achieve the power he had worked so hard to train for, and the 2nd time it was to check Gael's progress. After visiting him the 2nd time Adam was able to see what he had taught Gael didn't properly transfer so this time he wants to make sure it did.

Normally the method required some extreme mental strain that would trigger effects in the real world. In other cases are battles of mental warfare that trigger effects in the real world. However, whether if both these method works depends on the user, and the effort put into each of them.  Gael had failed to do so that is why he was back here that, and he wasn't his full strength. Whatever the case may be the fight with Shoko seems to have put some type of strain on Gael's body, and now he seeks recovery within his mind.


Gael looks at the place's new appearance it seems Adam has been at hard work making this place for them both. Now it was time for Gael to get an answer who the hell was this dude who keep popping up in his mind. This wasn't the first time either he did this not too long ago when he was heading out with the Jounin Travin on a mission.  However, it was strange the second time they met it was this same being seems like he was pissed off. If Gael remembers correctly it was something along the lines of his training potential.

Did this being before he had a way to make him stronger somehow? It was hard to believe but he had nothing to lose since he was here who knows when he would get another chance at coming here. Feeling that he has nothing to lose at this point he focuses on the task before him. That was Adam who had seem to have a permanent smile on his face. 

Adam had let out a sigh as he wave his hand directly in front of him revealing a projection of Gael's former thoughts. You see Gael had made some mistake in this previous battle right now Adam was going to see what would have happened if he didn't get caught within the genjutsu of Shoko.

This mistake was Gael promptly relayed his orders to his clone which cause him to fail at his attempt. To be honest it was one of the many mistakes Gael could have somehow avoided, and place himself in a better situation. The thoughts of Gael's mind played to Adam like a movie, and what Gael had come up with from his first mistake earlier in battle was this.

 
For the sake of balance, let's entertain the possibility that Gael didn't properly explain every detail. However, the facts remain in his previous attempt to locate Shoko. Through the means of Sharingan, 2020, and his bird eye view from up above. These things allowed Gael to follow the Shoko movement due to the right condition being fulfilled. However, this wasn't the case it was whether or not The Left Shadow Clone had sense enough to follow the orders of Gael.


Let's say the Left Shadow Clone was facing the direction of The Right Shadow Clone instead of aiming at Shoko. At the start of The Left Shadow Clone's first jutsu attempt. Which occurs after hearing "to the left of you left shadow." If they were some miss communication at the start of The Left Shadow Clone's first jutsu attempt it would indeed be corrected.



The proof was in the pudding simply as Gael clearly stated beforehand the speed of sound travel way faster than lowly Genin. His instruction was," SHE IS 20 METERS TO THE LEFT OF YOU LEFT SHADOW CLONE. SHE RUNS INTO THE LIVING FOREST! IT LOOKS LIKE SHE ALSO SUMMONS A SNAKE TOO SO BE ON YOUR GUARD!" If for some odd reason. The Left Shadow Clone was indeed facing the wrong direction the keyword of "Living Forest" would be more than enough for The Left Shadow Clone to reposition his body. So that The Left Shadow Clone doesn't make the mistake of releasing the fire jutsu in the wrong direction.



If in the case, there was friendly fire the Right shadow clone speed, and the simple distance he would have to cross. The distance is a small 2-meter gap in between them. The time was when the Left Shadow Clone begin the first jutsu. A simple movement at a max speed would allow him to reposition himself as stated.



So any point of the Right Shadow Clone hearing the instruction of Gael from above no matter what position the Left Shadow Clone face. The Right Shadow Clone would reposition himself directly behind it. The task was performed within the first set of hand seals of Ninjutsu Amplifier. So he had more than enough time to move back just 2 meters or 3 meters before the conclusion of the fire jutsu.



His position wasn't located by sight but by hearing the sounds of the Left Shadow Clone movement. Hearing the equipment due to being so close to each other made it easy for them to find each other. So the thought of friendly fire didn't make all too much sense. At less the Right Shadow Clone was in fact to slow to get into position before the conclusion of the fire jutsu aimed in the wrong direction. In which case, if the Left Shadow Clone was unable to follow the orders of Gael who flew above them, and somehow release the attack in the wrong direction.



Which would be fast enough to destroy the Right Shadow Clone. Only if the Right Shadow Clone is unable to move into position before the end of the last jutsu. In this case, the Left Shadow Clone will be left to fend for himself against the brutal attacks of the Snake.



How devious this world is to use the very summon that could have to aid Gael in this fight against him. Well, this wasn't his summon however, Left Shadow Clone didn't have much knowledge of it other than Gael's warning. So if it did find out that Left Shadow Clone was indeed incorrect in his previous attempt, and manage to kill the Right Shadow Clone before it could get into position.



Then these things will happen well it simply due to the snake being within the mist, and within the genjutsu otherwise known as Steaming Multistoried Building. The source would be either the smoke coming from the decaying forest side of the arena or the hidden mist. If none of these options could be used then The Left Clone would pay an additional cost to cast the genjutsu on the summon.



This genjutsu was simple, and it was active the entire time they were within it the moment the snake reveal itself. As it didn't have any silent movement so it could be heard as well. The Left Shadow Clone would attempt to cast this illusion on the snake a false image. This jutsu didn't require any hand seals, and it could be done while he maintain the fire jutsu that supposedly killed the other clone.



The illusion was a fake image of the Left Shadow Clone using the genjutsu power it could trick the senses of the snake it successfully cast. Which would cause the snake to not attack the real Left Shadow Clone but the fake one. This helps the Left Shadow Clone because in reality what the snake is attacking is nothing. This may lead it to jump straight into the fire jutsu as it would be mistaken as to its target.



If none of that happens, and the attempt to use this genjutsu to trick the snake. Then the snake would find it attempt it successfully which would cause the Left Shadow Clone to explode. As would the Right Shadow Clone if it wasn't able to get into safety in time.



Now to explain what happens if the Left and the Right Shadow Clone is destroyed. Not that it would affect Gael's attempt as much as Shoko would have liked his Sharingan still in effect as he flew in the direction of Shoko. It didn't matter whether in case of his fire jutsu not hitting its original goal or it did. As for Gael who now flew towards Shoko which was coming up at the 10-meter mark out of the twenty meters she was at.



Carefully descending as he came upon the 10-meter mark which was halfway he had descended to the 29-meter mark. Now it is important to point out as he flew toward the halfway point his body flicked with the chakra barrier.



There wasn't your normal aura but a chakra barrier of some kind that expand outwards wrapping itself around the user. Once he was within position just 10 meters away from the flame. Facing in the direction of the fleeing Shoko Uchiha aka directly behind her who was running with her back turn. Gael would release his transformation as soon as he reach his goal. His current attitude within the air is the 30-meter mark. So that is when he released the transformation Like the woman previously state she had, "Travel 29 meters backwardly backward from the angle of its approach (the flames.")

These next actions Gael performs shouldn't affect or hinder that movement allowing her to do her original attempt.



However, while she did that Gael had already started his next move.

Hare, Monkey, Dragon, and Tiger seal was the seal he had performed as he falls. He waited a few seconds to trigger the next seal of hand seal on his free hand as he fall as well. These hand seals and his movements were concealed by the ponoch. Gael had time it perfectly and carefully so the next jutsu won't clash with Soul Expulsion. The second jutsu was also performed just 2 seconds after the first jutsu two-hand seal. This hand seal was none other than Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Tiger. The speed he had fallen was way faster than what Shoko would hope to achieve which was 150 as the laws of gravity work here. While he attempts to land on his feet. Due to the heigh he was at he would receive no damage upon his landing. Not to mention upon reaching the correct range of Shoko he was currently 15 meters away from her. Due to her backwardly sprint to evade the left clone attack. Not to mention Gael has been following her since he has been following her.



He landed in the living forest the particular area had landed on was a spacious area and didn't have trees that could break his fall or harm him.



There weren't any trees within 35-meter marks of Shoko, and Gael so it was an open field somewhat other than several bushes within the area. Upon landing due to how fast Gael would fall he would he would either release Great Fire Ball Jutsu on the ground or air depending on how fast he was able to get off his attempt.



Make no mistake due to how fast Gael was descending he would probably reach the ground and release his attempt on Shoko. However, should Shoko feel the need to attack Gael? While Gael was in mid-air. If possible due to her current positioning being with her back turn from Gael. He would act swiftly depending on the matter at hand.



But action isn't met to be confused. Gael would attempt to release cone-like shapes of flames that quickly expand 20 meters in diameter, and it was 20 meters tall, and stretch for 50 meters in range. The power of this jutsu was greatly boosted due to Soul Expulsion. Gael's sole goal was to release this similar level of flames as before. against Shoko who was just 15 meters away from him. Shoko who goal was to reach the 30-meter mark would find herself if she turn around against 100 in power waves of flames heading her way. Not to mention since she was running she never pull out that kunai. The speed of this jutsu was 100 as well so it was fast but would it be fast enough?



Now if his left clone did indeed wrongly shoot his attempt in the wrong direction. The possible events details stop right there as if it was an incomplete action. Letting out a sigh in disappointment it seems like Gael was indeed overthinking his foes. To be honest he was beating himself how strange is that? Well that was the past now it was up to Gael, and Adam to get themselves back up to speed.

Returning his hand to his former position along his side Adam grunted as he said," Okay first thing first let's get you ready for this training. I ain't going to lie this is extreme training I have for you if you can complete this you will become stronger than before if not then you know what would happen right?" Adam dismally wave his hand he didn't want Gael to speak right now.

Once again clearing his voice Adam said," To be frank the training would be hard on your mind it made simply for you to overcome your limits. By putting your mind in a stressful situation you must find a way to overcome these tasks to receive the power from the lesson. The first lesson I decide to teach you.  I have managed to simplify it for you the goal is to understand when a person places you under genjutsu.

To do this you must unlock your next stage of the Sharingan otherwise known as tomoe 3. One of the Sharingan power is the power to either place person in powerful genjutsu another is to know when you are within one. Many former Uchiha users used this ability as a foundation and later unlock new powers. Don't think your clan power stop at just tomoe 3 think bigger and better than before. But there is a limit to this power. I let you find out the hard way, if you fail you will be closer to meeting me, and if you can overcome this I will allow you to graduate. But I suggest you reach one rank higher to attain the true power of this ability. "

Letting out a yawn it was indeed a wordy response hopefully the brat would be able to handle it. Depending on how smart he is Gael should be at least this much. But the first thing Gael must be able to do is to understand the function of Genjutsu.  In the academy, the teacher should have touched on this topic. Maybe they did but Gael was busy doing whatever he was doing or he did learn it however didn't bother to learn its release.

Adam had frowned could it be that Gael was to focus on attaining a more powerful jutsu. Then focusing on the basics of the shinobi world the anger that swells within Adam was a fair amount. How could the young man he had to pour his soul into failing by such a simple mistake? Well, even the once-great being who once walked this earth died at the hands of either allies or their simple mistakes.

Yup these mistakes added up even the smallest mistake could warrant death. Here today Adam will teach Gael even if he had to teach him the hard way. That lazy bag of bones dares to bring shame to his teaching and waste his time.

Maybe Adam was overthinking this as well because, to be honest. He didn't teach Gael any jutsu himself other than the teaching of his clan.
Now, this could be the time to properly teach him seeing that he was pressed for it best to use what time he has left.

Adam had Cleared his voice for yet another wordy response Adam said," I am going to need you to understand this for us to continue with unlocking your new power. It is rather simple.  I am sure you know that Genjutsu is controlled when the user controls the chakra flow of the cerebral nervous system. Gael, I am sure you know that the Majority of Genjutsu affect the five senses of the person.  Which frequently make false images or trick their body into believing in it experience pain. In other cases, Genjutsu can be used as a brainwashing instrument. However, despite how effective it  Genjutsu is rarely employed because most shinobi prefer real tangible effects from Ninjutsu and Taijutsu over the effects of Genjutsu. To be honest I understand why some shinobi shy from it. It's because the difficulty of performing Genjutsu first presents an additional barrier to using it.  Like you should know Genjutsu requires precise chakra control to be able to manipulate the target five senses. The user must have advanced intelligence to make the Genjutsu seems convincing. "

Halting there Adam wants to allow Gael to be able to comb through what he just told him. However, Adam was far from done with today's lesson, and Gael was about to find that out the hard way. Just what Adam had in store for him, and believe me it won't be a cakewalk like the one Shoko cast on him. Adam figures after today Gael will make sure to learn the method in releasing it today if not risk another mistake that could cost him his life.

Gael had nodded his head in approval it seems like he had understood Adam's lengthy breakdown. Not that he didn't know most of the stuff now he figure Adam was just touching base because it has to do what he had in store for him today.

Adam grunted as he continue," Well then moving on.  I am sure you know that when a person casts a Genjutsu it user, and the foes are in a state of either unconscious or continue moving around under the pretense of Genjutsu. While the user is aware he is unable to move in the physical world, and the same for his target. In most situations, the user will rely on his clones or summoning to deal damage as you experience not too long ago.  Now that you know what Genjutsu does, and how it works the summary version now time to move on to the next step. To my understanding, the Sharingan can discern chakra vision and detect chakra flow disrupting which allows the owner to determine when he is caught within a Genjutsu. I know right such a useful ability however, there is most on top of that you get other abilities you will learn them later down the line. But for right now you need to practice on your sight with your current Tomoe 2 if properly trained you can achieve a new level of power."

Adam outstretches his hand as he snaps his finger together suddenly Gael finds several roots begin to slowly grow out of the ground. As begin to do so Gael attempt to backpedal out the way of these new plants emerging from out of the ground. But the roots weren't the issue what was is the fact that Gael haven't realized that he had already been placed into the genjutsu. This one particular focus on the environment allows the user to be able to control false images of roots trying to cease Gael. This opens up for Adam to fully use the skills he has at hand to protect himself. How effective it would be would depend on the user, and what he was up against but as of now, he had no chance.

If Gael remembers correctly Adam had instructed him to activate his tomoe 2 and focus on the chakra network of his foe. He had remembered something about earlier statements if he can discern when a person is using chakra then he can determine if they casting ninjutsu or Genjutsu.

Adam had carefully watched Gael evade the roots however, that wasn't the point of this exercise.  The truth of the matter is Adam wanted Gael to embrace these roots only then can he truly understand the current lesson. Letting out a sigh Adam had rubbed his chin he figure Gael will figure this out on his own no need for him to hold his hand like a baby.

But maybe he should give him a helping hand seeing as how badly he embarrasses himself, and his clan before the entire village. Adam had a chuckle as he called out to Gael, " I see why you lost, and shame your clan. Not to mention embarrasses yourself amongst all to see. Here in this very moment, you must redeem yourself Gael let go and accept the gift I am trying to teach ya, lad. Only then will you be able to attain the power that your thirst for a boy."

Gael wasn't too far from Adam about 6 meters or so. So believe me he heard the words of goblin face bastard. Do you think Gael wanted to lose? Do you think he wanted to embarrass his clan, and in front of the entire village. Not at all he wanted to bring honor to his clan, and become a great shinobi he wanted to use his knowledge as power, and his skills as a foundation to make those who cross his bow.

These emotions trigger something within him, and his eyes swirl as 3 tomoe Sharingan reveal themselves. The bloodline trait offers great vision prowess to those who use it, and right now Gael was using it. As soon as he open his eyes the effect of his Sharingan came into play directly above his head was a film that reveal his true position, and Adam within his mind.

From what he can tell, and see Adam had cast some type of Genjutsu on him. But Gael didn't remember Adam doing any handseals could this genjutsu be handless. On top of that what was the trigger was it eye contact? Well, none of that matter Gael understood the purpose of this lesson it was to force Gael to unlock his abilities, and to practice with them here.

In this place, he wasn't sure how time to move here but that wasn't important. He was sure he was okay in the physical world hopefully but that could be wrong. So does that means he has to leave this place right now? Gael didn't know how to leave, and the last time he came here was ejected by Adam.

Is that the only way to leave this place through him or could he control this place too? Well, that wasn't important as of right now Gael was able to see through Adam Genjutsu. Thankfully he was able to understand he was already caught therefore he lost already if it was in the real world.

Once a person gets caught within a Genjutsu they are at the mercy of the foe. Gael understood it and therefore halted his retreat as the roots snarl around him. Finally, captured within the Genjutsu Gael body was propelled upwards into the sky as Adam follow suit with his own set of vines. As they climb upwards towards the night sky Adam spoke. For some reason when he spoke it sound firm and closer than what it was this creature holds vast power in this place.

Adam had let out a chuckle and said," Behold did you figure it out yet?  lad, surely you be able to find out that....." Halting in his comment he waves his hands to pull Gael closer to him as they continue to ascend into the sky.

Just as Gael was pulled closer he halt him once he was sight view for what he was looking at was his eyes. He smirks at the sight of three tomoe wheels spinning around the pupil of Gael's eyes. Well, he is damn his first part of the lesson was complete the desire to become stronger. The inner desire of hater fuels the Uchiha clan, and Adam understood here in this world if he could force Gael into a state of despair or unstableness. He would seize this opportunity to push him even closer than this he must. For him to even have a chance to bring him back from this cursed world. Letting out a sight they continue to rise into the sky until with a thud they crash into a large cloud. Upon there Gael was released from his restraints, and allowed to walk upon the white fluffy clouds along was Adam.


Who sat not too far from Gael about 4 meters he sat Indian style along with the fluffy substance that make up a cloud. Letting out a chuckle he said," So tell me lad did you figure it out yet?" Gael sigh the bastard was having too much fun with this teaching method of his. However, he was feeling somewhat better than when he first got here so whatever that was going on here was maybe working.

No matter the case Gael decide to accept what was going on right now. If at any time or chance he gets to escape then he would do so whomever this person Adam was Gael didn't trust him. But for Gael to get out of here he had to play his part. His part right now completes his training no matter the cost. However, that won't be as easy as it sounds because Adam had his plans for Gael.

Both Gael and Adam chuckle at each other but only Gael spoke he had said," So at what point did you cast Genjutsu on me? " Adam had run his chin as he replied," Not that it even matter at this point. However, remember each Genjutsu has a duration, and you are within that world trap until you break free. In order words, they owned you  until it over so it best to break it or remain in their caution care."

Gael grew annoyed he couldn't believe he had to go through these lessons. Did he fail that much within himself that he can't even accepted it. Could this be a place that his mind made up for him to cope with his failure as a shinobi. Nothing made sense other than Adam speaking in circle about new power, and previous attempts in his life. 

Gael didn't have no muse to be here other than to get back to reality as soon as possible. Adam could feel that Gael wasn't in his right state of mind he could feel that Gael felt uneasy. Nodding his head in approval he decide it was time to move forward time for Adam to finish up his training. No matter the cost at that Gael would have to pay Adam would make sure that he complete his training.

Beside he didn't went through all this effort just to be shitted on by youngin who doesn't even know how to burp. Letting out a sigh Adam said," I can see that you wanna go, and belivie me I want you to let you leave this place. But not like this because if you leave like this you will die. Not that he didn't care but ironically of Adam failing didn't sit well with him that why he was going to push Gael to the limit.

Both indidviual stare at each other for few seconds soon after Gael broke the silence, and said," Fine you still in teaching mode. Than could you tell me why we up here, and what next?" Adam waited a few seconds before he had replied. He wasn't sure if Gael knew but time move here slowly so the amount of time Adam train him here there is time difference in the real world. This allow Adam to train any who enter this place promptly regardless of the time it would take in the normal world. However, this place have rules and condition, and believe me if they aren't met than they would pay for it in the long run. Taking into account what on the line right now Adam didn't feel the need to waste anymore time that they have left it was now or never.

Beside Adam isn't sure how much longer he could manifest in this world. He was flying under the radar but it was only a matter of time before the other finds out that he was doing this, and believe me he was risking it all. If only the little brat appreidate his sarcfices  but maybe that was too much to ask. He kinda understand how Gael feel being left in the dark however, it wasn't much he could tell him without fear of others finding out.

Noddding his head in approval he had no order choice Adam decide it was time to end this little training lesson before something else happens. Adam stretch out his hands as soon as he did so Gael, and Adam find themselves back at sqaure one. The world was back to it orginal state of black sky, and white floor. Gael stood 4 meters from Adam who stood there waiting for Gael to regain his awareness. It didn't take long for Gael to do so as now he was back at sqaure one he figure this nightmare was about to come to a ended.

Well that what he had hoped this place didn't sit to well with Gael, and believe me he wasn't going to stay here any longer then need too. Letting out a sigh Gael said, " Alright bud I been here long enough it time to honor your word, and let me out of here. I have complete you training or whatever you wanna call it but." It was indeed true that Gael had somewhat complete the reason for him to journey here however, it was still the fact of the last power he must learn to control before he leave.

Adam nodded his head in approval as he said," Fear not lad we are just at the finish line. Know that you only have to do one more thing before I allow you to graduate. It simple I promise it is to defeat me."
Suddenly Adam body begin to morph in size as it increase in both size, and weight. In the matter of seconds Adam body was well over that of a Gaint creature or summoning.

Gael didn't have the slightest clue on how to handle this situation the freak host turn into some type of gaint monster. To be honest Gael didn't have a jutsu that increase his size no did he want one as of now. He had enough with this place, and all the shit that Adam was doing. He had to cease control to come out on top he must tap into that power tha Adam spoke about. No matter the cost Gael would unlock the true potentail of clan, and no matter the cost come out on top of this little nightmare or die trying you know?

There was a bief silence niether Gael or Adam made a move right away it was as if both of them was thinking. In that brief moment of silence Adam was the first to break the silence as he said," Well look like this is the end of this little meeting kiddo but before we depart you must do one more thing lad. You remember what I first said when you came here? Don't worry I will refresh your memory."

Clearing his voice once again Adam continue to speak as he did so with a snap of his finger one wooden construction begin to manfiest out of the milky white substance known as the floor they stood on. It was at this point that Adam, and Gael was no longer in the Genjutsu but at the ground where this little meeting had become.
For whatever reason Adam release the genjutsu it seems to complete it objective whatever it was now it was time to move on. "So now that we are nearly finish it just a few things I must cover before you leave. That gate down below is how you leave this place it also marks your gradution of my teaching. But before you go through it you must unlock the last bit of power your clan offer to it members. I can't say you will understand it as it of it not useful until you reach next letter rank. However, upon doing so you will unlock a new power one that isn't often accuqiure within this shinobi world. Not many Shinobi have this power you will be one of the few who does unlock it. Fear not with this new power you will be mark by your peers who crave power, and foes who wish to take it. Gael with your own 2 hands you must defend the very power that you work so very hard to achieve. Don't your peers, allies, friends, and family trick you out of what rightfully yours."

As Adam spoke his voice was firm, and loud due to his size increase here in this world. While Gael was his standard size verus Adam 30 meter high increase surely this wasn't a fair match. But Gael finally understood this place it secrets. To be honest from the very moment Gael enter into this place he felt unease, and believe me he was glad this experince was coming to a ended. If he remember correctly the only thing left for him to do is step across the gate hopefully that would allow him to leave. But there was something else that he figure out while he was here if this place was control by his mind. Shouldn't he be able to control this place as he see fit or that wasn't the case. Well that he could test this out he did have nothing to lose after all right? In that brief moment Gael had gather the courgage to attempt his plan however he was facing a massive man.

How would he successfully reach his goal without getting crush by Adam. Not to mention Adam did say something about one last power something about his clan full potential but it wasn't without limits. His current Sharingan didn't feel like it had any restriction that could harm him. That lead to Gael believe that he haven't reach that power just yet meaning he was current under going his last test.

He guess that he would reach his goal upon walking through that gate. But how? Adam seems set on guard it was it not possible to even complete this goal. So far Gael remember back to Adam teaching something about accept being capture could he do the same to Adam. Would this attempt be worth it to successfully escape this place he came so far.

Did something happen to his body in the real woruld is that why he was here? No it couldn't be he had to find out, and the only way to do that is to walk through that doorway no matter the cost Gael ready himself. Adam grin eager at gael who seems to be doing something down below it didn't matter anywho. It was now time to finish this it was time to give gael his last lesson , and it was just in time he had use a lot of his power to get here.

Now he just had enough to teach give last lesson which was even when there no way there is a way. Adam had cleared his voice as he said," Behold this is the last test but remeber what I told you boy. If you don't achieve higher letter skill than this power would be at it limit , and make sure not to show no one this power. Be very carefully whom you trust with giving this information out to okay? Now all you have to do is walk through that wooden gate, and that will take you back."

Gael was confuse what about the new power would he still achieve it even if he abandon on learning it, and just escape for this place. Time was not on his side he wasn't sure how long he been here or how long he been training.

Here time here to him seems short but in mental sense it was something more. Through his mind his body under went intense training, and upon his return to the mortal realm he would receive the transfer. This place was special, and Gael was mentor by Adam the first, and the only. Letting out a sigh the begin with the moving forward. Gael had roll out of the way of Adam massive feet that nearly step on him as he advance. For whatever reason Gael was able to determine Adam movements with the help of his Sharingan but something was off.

He could feel something was going on with his eye something trigger as Adam took this chance to reach out, and smack Gael across his face. The strike had sent Gael flying back several meters from Adam who stood 10 meter in front of the gate blocking Gael path. It was now or never Gael had to use this world against him he had to cease control ,and the only way he know how to is fighting fire with fire. He could feel the pain from the impact from Adam eariler strike. It wasn't even to keep him down but it did draw blood, and bruise up Gael body from the strike. Gael had no other choice he had to give it his all to come out on top of this place it was now or never.

Suddenly there was flash of light from up above , and the once night sky turn blue than a voice spoke," Adam I see you been busy. Oh, and you seem to make a friend as well. Well seeing as you went through this amount of trouble I will allow you to finish this up before I drag you back to where you came from." Then the sky return back to night as Gael took this chance in the moment of Adam shock he ran. He ran straight for the doorway with all his speed that he could muster. Even though his body felt like it was on fire it wasn't enough to stop Gael who was determine to win no matter the cost.

His muscles was tire, and his body didn't feel any better but continue forward as he did so. Adam momentarily struck by the voice that spoke return his attention on Gael who was approaching him currently. He wasn't sure what just happen he was sure he too the precaution of concealing his efforts of being here. How did they find him? What the fudge is going on here. Wait that bastard Gael didn't right? He couldn't have right?

Is was too late as Gael body slip through the wooden gate a door open, and Gael mind transfer back into reality as he said,"I give you win." He didn't have nothing more to say because he fuck up but he wasn't without reward because he unlock a new power one that he couldn't wait to try out.

Shoko stammers at Gonk's firm words, clearly intimidated and startled by the jounin's words. "Y-yes sir!" she says. "Thanks Ohi!"

The snake hisses a 'you're quite welcome' and vanishes in a puff of smoke, freeing the defeated Gael. Still, he looks distant and faraway, staring off into space as Gonk and Shoko look towards him.

"...you alright?" Shoko ventures, fretting for a moment that she, perhaps, accidentally hurt him. It hasn't quite registered to her that she won the match until Gael snaps out of it and formally concedes, at which point the crowd murmurs and claps in approval. Shoko looks around with a shy grin, and then reaches towards Gael to offer him a fist bump in recognition of a good fight. "We'll rematch sometime, right?" she says, before making her formal exit, mind still swimming a little. Wow. Round two. Who's she going to be fighting next? She won't be so lucky - she needs to make sure she's ready. Wow...

She really did it?

Shoko grins in the quiet hallway of the arena, looking around to find nobody looking her way, and she lets out a nervous, delighted laugh. Really? The adrenaline is still running through her, and she isn't sure what to do with it besides... well, run home! She hardly even notices how red the world looks as she takes off, and doesn't realize that her eyes have turned scarlet until her mother sees her and startles at the sight of her daughter, beaming widely at her as she opens the door, a Sharingan awakened in each eye.
