The Council's Time (Village Subjugation)

Stein had stood there when he saw Ayato, Was Ayato coming to speak on the Councils Behalf? If that was the case than he could talk to Ayato about making this seem like the "Public Execution" that was needed to calm the Council and fool them into thinking that they had the power, rather Ayato overruled them or not by offering a secondary life, while not Optimal, Stein was always one for Survival over Death. There was another that Stein himself had not met before, And after what looked like a brief talk with Ayato, The man Charged forward. Stein had not done thing as he had trusted Ayato , All Stein did was call out the Council , he had not spoken aloud what he was willing to do if needed.

When the man Stopped and suddenly Launched his attack, Stein thought that this was all apart of Ayato's plan to talk, smart, give the audience a sign of distrust towards the Missing Ninja. Than Instead of stopping short or a non-Lethal attack, it pierced him, and Kana was Targeted?! Kana had been there mostly as Stein's Liason nothing more, and she was attacked. If Kobayashi was there he would have certainly been targeted too. This was the fuel that Stein needed. Before the Tendrils started their wrapping and dragging. Stein flared.

With his Red eyes gazing, A Sudden flare around Stein as circles formed around his eyes, a Eerie green aura lit a flame. The Fabled Sage mode of the Scourge of Konoha had been activated. This was something Stein had done before in the Chuunin exams, but unlike than, he was going for blood, His Daughter had been injured. While the Surge happened , at the same time two other things happened. Ukemochi Flared to Life, and Stein made two handsigns with his hands. With the Seal of Confrontation and Tiger, The Markings of his Sage mode seemed to branch out and expand, making him look even more stitched than before.

When The Sage mode flared to life and the Aura surrounded him, His Display of Power had Activated along side of his Sage Mode, The chill in the air along with the Rain just seemed to get worse. Anyone who was a fighter at any point in their life would know this feeling, it was that of a killing Intent , but this came from the Kage of Kazangakure, the S-rank Missing Ninja, the Scourge of Konoha, one of the Ragdolls of the Tau clan, a being made of threads.

Now for the Tendrils that attempted to Drag him down, A structure would suddenly Rise in an Attempt to break the conncetion, exactly One meter in front of Stein and Kana. The Wood Human Rose from the Ground at Jutsu Speed, With a Pair of Wooden Dragons wrapped around him. While The Head was a Meter in front of Stein, Stein and Kana was lifted onto the Human as it rose. Thirty meters into the air. with the additional Height this would break the connection of the Tendrils unless the man would make a move forward. But if he did, he would be met by one of the dragons that launched off the wood human as soon as its head came above the ground towards the Tendril man.

If the man Stepped Outside of the Dragon's Range the Dragon would open its mouth and Launch Three Wooden Spikes at the man's Direction he was in.

While Stein Stared down the only words that could be heard from his shouting was "YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE GIRL ALONE!".

Meanwhile, as Stein and his Sage Mode Activated, Kana suddenly had Wings sprout from her back, from now on she would stick to the back of Stein, While behind him she would turn her head and happen to look behind them, Wondering about what would stop them from flying away right now, she noted the dot behind them, So they were pinched, Well this would make things a little more difficult. She could not make out who it was at the time, but since the rain seemed centered around him, and she noticed him start moving in towards them, At which point would cause her to form hand signs, her hands hidden behind Stein's back. And she waited to see how things would go, holding the last Sign and she took in a deep breath, When the man moved forward again the moment he started moving she would dive bomb in with a spray of Poison mist from above him. She made sure to start spewing the mist so by the time she reached over him it would hit Maximum range, allowing her to stay above him by the maximum range. After that she would raise up as fast as she could back to Steins back, keeping an eye on the man she just crop dusted.

During the entirety of all of this, both was ready to react accordingly to any new happenings.

Ayato lowered his hand. The man at the gates was dead, the vacuum bullet having hit Stein’s head clean. The last true S-rank missing died as he had lived by the sword. The ragdoll promised that the Kesseki storyline would play out very differently, and he would go on a retrieval mission where he would die on the way there. And the next day, he shows up at the village gates threatening the council. 

However, there were others out there just as dangerous. So the Kage always stayed on guard, taking note of his surroundings. The world was full of such scavengers. Ayato wouldn’t call them wolves; wolves are nobler than that, so were dogs, or Ayato thought. If even half of what was heard of Stein was true, he was a bitter, tormented soul, a sinner who mocked both gods and men. He served but found no pride in service. He fought, but he found no joy in victory. He did not love, nor has he loved himself, and it was hate that drove him. Though he committed many sins, he never sought forgiveness. While other men dreamt of wealth or glory, Stein dreamed of enslaving a village. Evil was so terrible it made Ayato shudder as he spoke of it. That was the fuel that kept his fires burning. Enslaving others was all that sad and angry creature lived.

The Kage confessed he hated everything people like the ragdoll stood for. He was still a believer in Akihana’s vision, even if she wasn’t towards the end. Instead, he gave him a chance to start a new life.  But Ayato’s efforts were too little and too late. The Ragdoll died by his hands. 

The unsung hero of the day was his son Kobiyashi. Ayato feared he had his father’s nature, but the kid proved otherwise. If he did not act the way he did and alarm Hoshi about what his father was planning on doing, this might have played out very differently. Perhaps they would have never managed to form a defense in time, and Stein might have burned half the village to a crisp. 

Seto still maintained the whips that moved like an extension of his will. They were wrapped around Stein’s and Kana’s bodies, covering them in their entirety like cocoons, including Kana's head. Ayato knew little and cared less for transplants, so the bodies would be later given to Ayato’s defacto underboss for medical research that would hopefully prove crucial to their understanding of bloodlines. 

Ayato would call for his companions to gather around him. Including Akabayashi, who held a position to cut off Stein’s exit. They would return inside the village, where he would summon them to his office for debriefing.

A roar of sound went up as they passed underneath the open portcullis. The foot soldiers and townsfolk would cheer as the Kage, and the band of heroes walked past, cheering for their Hyuuga heir,  with the embodiment of ideals racing beside him. For Masashi Uzumaki-Akari, for the Vulture of Terumi, and the even the Priest of Yuumei.

At last the end had come. The kill was clean and quick the concussive force of the kage's blast moving the missing ninja's neck in such a way it appeared to break. The man had lost the will to fight and that truly was his downfall. It seemed Kana the man's daughter was already dead only appearing to move by the grace of Seto's tentacle attack. Which coiled and wrapped around them.


The clone of the Terumi would dispel as he was called to gather with the rest of the group. The doctor had hoped to maintain his position for some time. Confusion was a deserters best opportunity to escape. While the main forces focused on the attack they were often blind to the filth sneaking in or out. The man also suspected there was more to this than met the eye.

As the Terumi came over he was keen to be wary of the dead MN on the ground. The experiences of the clone told the Vulture everything including his death, but the Nova didn't trust it. At the beginning of his walk the man activated his sage mode and made seals for nijutsu amp and summoned a collosal wood human which towered over the other people on the field. (Speed, Health, and Power 250). The Terumi would hitch a ride in the palm of the giant the fingers ready to defend in a moments notice. With the giant holding the man to the side and slightly above it he could see the whole area by turning his head which he did often. "I don't trust this situation is over completely. The man would say having the giant put him down 10m away from Stein the coil connecting the giant and Nova together visable.

The foot of the giant would then extend over the bodies of the fallen ready to squash them at a moments notice. Taking two corpse storage scrolls the man and his giant would move forward the giant moving only enough to allow the doctor to do his thing. The man would take out two corpse storage scrolls and tap the head of Stein and Kana sealing their bodies within. He would then give the scrolls to Ayato the giant human walking along behind the Terumi concious not to step on anyone that is friendly.

As they moved a crowd of people began to cheer. Everyone in this city did enjoy watching an execution as the man recalled. The giant would proceed unimpeded as all had enough common sense not to walk near the giant and the streets of Hoshi were big enough to handle the titan and have no structural damage. The man didn't look overjoyed though as he rode upon the titan's shoulder. He still looked ready to defend the Nova assumed this was just the beginning of something worse.

That was it then. No fight, no struggle, the two died without a word after the initial challenge. ‘So be it,’ Masashi thought to himself as he dismissed Tsutomu and followed his kage back into the village. He was sure there would be a debrief of sorts now that this was over, short as it was.
