The night had escalated quickly and ended before Shien knew it. One moment he was ordering a pizza, the next a group of women appreciators had shown up with far too little melanin. It was astonishing, really, seeing the gruff old men at work. They handled themselves well, no doubt due in part to their experiences on the force, one Damon Uchiha even a retiree. Ikigai himself had even joined the fray, though he’d likely be charged with assault after the night was through.

In a vague flash of events, Shien found himself still seated at the table, the fedora-wearing men defeated as the Doku finished off the last piece of pepperoni dosed in garlic, a fitting meal for such an occasion. Still, the night’s events gnawed at him. He hadn’t helped at all, other than, of course, providing his order to the waitress. “Sorry I wasn’t much help, gentlemen,” Shien said. “It’s just gnawing at me,” he continued, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

Damon held the waitress to his body, tipping his fedora in a fashion most eye-rolling. It seemed he’d found himself someone to impress, unfortunately, that someone had been something.

Burping, Shien’s breath flooded outward, reducing Damon’s partner to ash, the last of the vampires, just before she could sink her teeth into the Uchiha power.

Standing at the table, Shien excused himself, eyeing another waitress and gesturing towards the broom and dust pan. With a swift goodbye, the lizard man left, pulling his trenchcoat into his chest. He reached into his pocket, finding just a few dried-up leaves of tobacco, his cigars fresh out.

Mission 2:

I'm telling y'all, it's sabotage.

Rocky's eyes investigated the room. Perhaps he had chosen the wrong men to help him. Shien. If he had potential, he didn't bother showing it yet. He seemed to be more focused on the pizza. Sharky, whom Rocky expected a lot from, had only headbutted a citizen to help in the fight. He also looked a bit sick, though not sick enough to fit in, in this God-ridden city. And Damon... Well, no matter what he did, Rocky seemed to be unable to hold him accountable for it. The man had earned his retirement. He deserved to 'M'lady' people now. Rocky only hoped that he would help when it came to it. In less than a minute the fight was done. Rocky looked at the body of his favorite bartender. This sick town had claimed another good soul.

After all, Cloud City claimed all good souls, eventually.

"Alright gentlemen, we need to focus." Rocky said. Alas, there would be no time to focus, as a short man entered the room soon after. "ROCKY!" the young fella shouted, "NEW CORPSES! SIMULTANEOUS ATTACKS ON THE OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE CITY!". Rocky sighed. He looked at the man who entered the room, his assistant Creed. He was way too pure for this world. Rocky could only hope that this kid wouldn't get torn into shreds by a man-monster made out of multiple corpses and brought to life. For that would be far too tragic a fate. Rocky noticed they were still standing under the sign of the counter, the giant 4 shadowing over them. "Let's leave." Rocky simply said, and allowed Creed to lead the team to the crimescene.

They were brought to a pond in the west end of Cloud City. The crimscene in the east was being investigated by Rocky's cocky rival, J. Jason. The scene the team were investigating contained 8 bodies. They have been torn to shreds. Something didn't add up. "Something doesn't add up.". Literally. "Literally.". There were limbs missing. "There are limbs missing..." Rocky looked at the scene a little bit longer. "And in very specific numbers. Two arms, two legs and a head across all bodies. I'll just assume before looking that many inner organs must have been taken as well...". Rocky thought for a few seconds.

"Hey Damon." he finally said, "Have you ever read Case 733-A? Puppets, made out of human bodies... Do you think this case could be related?". Rocky couldn't shake the feeling something sick was going on here. After a few more minutes, leaving ample time for the team to investigate the scene, Rocky noticed a shadowy figure out of the corner of his eye. Creed asked Rocky, "Notice something, Detective Rocky?". Rocky sighed, "Just a hunch.". After a few more minutes, the shadowy figure finally approached them. A sick-looking old fella with a hunch on his back. "Gentlemen, I, Igor, hereby inform you that you have been invited to a dinner, by Dr. Frankenstein. If you'd like to accept his request, which I urge you to, I will lead you to the House of Frankentein.". Rocky looked at his colleagues to decide collectively.

He could smell this was a trap, but it was still the best lead they had.

Rocky didn't know what awaited them, but he could just smell that it would involve

Infiltrating airducts
Mingling with High Society
Figuring out the Twist
and
Explosion-related Hijinks
