The white haired boy began his search around the docks of the fire country, this was where Ren's mission should have begun, had he followed it. It would have seen him heading toward the heart of the fire country toward Konoha, if any of these filthy civilians had seen him and remembered the direction the boy left it would tell Yazu whether Ren had followed the orders given or if he had indeed become a fugitive. 

The first person was a rather poor looking fisherman, who seemed to supplement his income with ferry trips. If Ren had used the ferry services this man would know. 

Yazu, clad in the full deathstroke armor appeared quite frightening, the image of death, would pose a simple question to the fisherman, "Have you ever seen this individual?" Holding up a recent photo of the boy scoured from the academy.

"Yea I seen dat little girl, she came across a couple weeks back, seemed pretty damn out of place round here. But fuck she was a ninja so I didn't question it". The man would respect others with a very deep seafaring accent.

"That is good, what direction did they leave the village from?" The white haired boy would ask knowing that he simply could follow in that way. His chakra perception always active and ready to activate the Sharingan on a moments notice.. 
"Oh yea she left on the east end as though she was heading along the borders, not a clue where she would be heading though. Looked like she had no intention of staying in the fire country for long."

"Thank you," Yazu of the mist would thank the man for his information, revisiting the urge to kill him in cold blood as if to enhance the plaeasure of killing Ren Tsubasa.

Once reaching the Fire borders he would head toward the Lightning country borders using his sharingan to track high chakra.
