The man was letting gravity do its work and falling straight into komons strike, for a second Komon thought he might actually manage to land the hit he had thrown, but the man was almost as quick as Komon and promptly reacted.

Komon watched his chakra tipped fingers strike forward at the man’s eyes, but was forced to watch the man slide his arm along the boys underarm with an outside block and force his wrist under the man’s armpit with his elbow resting on the man’s ribcage. Of course as this was happening Komon was already planning on how to counter, the man tried to punch him with force to knock the wind out of his lungs and catch him off guard but Komons chuunin vest tanked it with relative ease.

Now feeling the pressure of the armbar the man had him in, komon had to react quickly before the man kept his promise of breaking his arm’s, Komon was already at a disadvantage and was not looking forward to fighting with a disadvantage as severe as what the man intended to give him. His wrist was pinned under the man’s armpit but his hand extended past it, with this freedom Komon gripped the man’s shoulder in order to gain some leverage forming a kind of hook from the bottom of his armpit to the top of the man’s shoulder. The combatant had also made a mistake in his last attack, he had failed to address Komons right arm, which was completely free to the side of him.

With this arm Komon quickly activated the gentle fist palm bottom technique and pushed out at the man's chest with all his strength and speed, he knew that the armor would tank the hit but it still had to obey the laws of physics if a superior force pushed against it it would move. Komon intended to use that force to topple the man’s hold on him by using simultaneous force of his gentle fist attack with the combined effort of pulling down with the hook he had formed on the man’s shoulder, with one arm pulling him down and one pushing him forward Komon figured he could topple the man over and shift this hold into the opposite effect.

If it worked Komon would use the shock of the shifting weight and the man trying to regain control to free his arm from the hold, I hope this works, Komon thought to himself as he set the plan into motion, upon success he would then free himself and retreat to the back of the room. He was hardly any good in these close quarter wrestling type situations and the man clearly seemed quite skilled at them, it would benefit Komon more to get in an area where he could send targeted jabs rather than manipulate weight and momentum.

Akuoy smiled as he got atop the boy, the curtain was slowly but surely closing on this fight little by little. Komon was trying his best to halt the natural order of things and the progress he was making. Each attack that was countered led to another attempt that needed to either be dealt with or let go for a better strategic advantage. The clone was of course weaker than the original but what he lacked in strength he made up for in decision making that Mortarion never had to use due to who he was.

The thing with being on your back was that the movements you did make were either severely limited or would be easily read. The extra muscle and strength one used to execute attacks led to ones own downfall. The forward striking palm that he was now attempting fell into the same category, it was an attack that while standing and equally paired would always reach its target first. However from a grounded position the strength of the punch and speed would always falter.

Akuoy's arm that was doing the punching of course was already down on the boys body allowing him to counter this just as well in calm fashion. The clones arm pressed weight on the boys shoulder which would cause the blow to fall short as there was no more forward movement to propel it. Now once again came a very interesting time for the genin.

Shifting his weight and stance Akuoy would place one knee on the boys chest as he moved. This would occur while he snaked his other arm around the boys attacking arm placing it in the same positon the other had been. Applying his weight on the boys rib cage he'd lean his back backwards while pressing weight on his knee to now alleviate both arms from the boys sockets. The only sound that would be heard in the room would be a audible "pop" and well he'd just see what happened next.

Komon began to show visible signs of panic when he was forced to watch his second strike fail to land, and to add insult to injury the man deflected it the same way he had done so with his other attack. He couldn’t even be bothered to change it up. Komons mind began to raise as he saw the man prepare to lurch back. This man was going to pop Komons arms directly out their sockets, rendering his fist and both of his proficient taijutsu attacks next to useless. Komon had to think, and fast too if he wanted to keep his arms.

Komon began to analyze the situation as it was happening, the raikage was using both arms to restrict his own, and Komons body was pinned underneath the massive, hulking, armor clad combatant that clearly hated his guts weight. The man had one knee on komons chest and the other on the floor and was beginning to drop his backs weight backwards, this of course was in order to cause massive pain to Komon’s arms so that he would be rendered useless in the fight. But Komon had, had it with this man’s games. Every punch he threw so far the man had seen before it had even happened. But with one knee on the ground and one on Komons chest he had made a mistake that would allow Komon to finally be in a position to make a move.

Komon’s waist and below was completely free, and able to do whatever it pleased, it appeared his opponent had deemed them unthreatening just like the rest of Komons body. The man also had a mask on which prevented peripheral vision and prevented the man from seeing behind himself. And as far as Komon knew he had no byakugan or kekke genkai that allowed him to sense what was happening behind him without sight. At least if the man did he had not displayed such an ability so far.

Komon hadn’t attempted this method of freeing himself yet because of one flaw, the man was taller than him and his legs would not have been capable of reaching the intended target due to the man’s height. But as the man began to slam his back backwards, the distance between Komons legs and the man’s neck quickly began to close. Komon flinched at the thought of what he was about to do. Before a memory of what he had said in the beginning of the fight to the masked man flashed to the front of his mind. “Two broken arms is an acceptable loss should I fail to impress you” Komon was not one to lie and had meant every word of it, deeming dislocated arms an acceptable loss he lifted his waist off the ground as the man swung down lifting his legs up and attempting to wrap them around the man’s neck.

Should the plan work Komon’s arms would indeed be dislocated and a loud pop would be heard echoing throughout the room along with Komon’s intense scream, he would be in a massive amount of pain, but he would also have his legs wrapped around the front his opponent’s neck and would then apply as much pressure as he could while slamming the man’s back to the ground pinning his throat between Komon’s leg and the surface of the arena they were fighting in. Komon would use this force to create a choke hold in a desperate attempt to keep the man pinned.

There it was, the sound he had been working towards during this entire duration of the fight. The sound that indicated someones body had given up and lost the struggle of two opposing forces. It was music to his ears no matter how short the duration, the lasting pain would serve to comfort him. Akuoy had mentioned at the very beginning that he'd break the boys arms, dislocating them was on the right direction but his promise wasn't completely fulfilled at the moment.

His mental victory was slightly short lived as while he leaned back to accomplish his goal Komon had decided to enact his own last ditch attack it seemed. As the clone leaned back the boy attempted to use his legs to wrap around his neck, one of the legs would succeed at this goal unimpeded. The other however would be met with resistance as it came at the end of him finishing dislocating Komons arms. His head turned to face the boys right leg biting down on the childs Achilles tendon through the fabric of his clothes. The reason for this was due to no matter how strong ones body was pressure points and areas known for weakness still attributed a lot of pain through the body. As this happened and if successful it would allow him to capture the leg in his now free arms sliding his body downwards the weight on the boys chest now shifting downwards as he laid flat locking the boys leg against his chest. His arms and hands would move upwards to the heel and foot grabbing and applying pressure to relieve the leg from the socket as well. This was all if things happened as planned.

Komon watched his first leg wrap around the man's neck before the raikage even had the chance to react, he had finally managed to land some form of attack against the seemingly invincible figure in front of him. But whatever joy he felt from his success was short lived as a resounding pop echoed throughout the small room. His opponent had just successfully popped his arms out of his sockets, Komon had to fight back tears, the pain was so great.

So great that it caused him to jerk and his leg that had yet to land slowed enough for the brutal man in front of him to be able to see it coming. The man promptly turned his head and opened his jaw as if he was going to bite Komons foot that was currently heading for the neck. Komon decided it was time to change his game plan and now his left leg which was already wrapped around the man’s neck began to drag the man down towards the ground while his right leg in an effort to avoid the man’s bite would now be changing its intended target. Instead of going for the neck Komon would now kick with full force out at the bottom of the man's chin. Almost like an uppercut, the left leg had dragged the man’s chest and face down almost parallel to the ground and Komons foot was quickly coming to kick the man underneath his chin.

Komon did not want to stay in this hold by any means, without functional arms he was at a severe disadvantage, if his kick landed he would release his hold on the man’s throat with his left leg and use his right leg to push with as much force from the kick sending both Akuoy and himself backwards sliding across the floor away from each others grip. Komon would then use the distance he had gained to pick himself up onto his feet and no longer able to use his arms without causing himself severe pain he’d simply tuck his chin behind his shoulder to afford himself the best defense he could muster up. “I’m not done yet…” he would say to his opponent, while also showing signs of exhuasion and dripping with sweat. He would then wait for Akuoy to make his move while reactivating his own byakugan.

"That's enough."

A voice rang out in the clones head as he was about to torque his body rotating them both over to avoid the kick while also snapping the boys foot. Mortarion had spoken to him through their mental connection forcing the clone listen.

"You've done more than enough, and I'm sure he's shown you what you wanted to see."

The boys kick landed where it had been aimed forcing the clones head to bend slightly backward. Komon retreated away from Akuoy before standing up clearly in no shape to continue this game. The clone touched his jaw ensuring it wasn't broken, maybe missing a tooth or so, nothing that would be able to be undone. Turning to leave the room Akuoy spoke for the last time.

"we're done, you pass, go get yourself looked at."

Komon watched his foot glide towards the man’s face and for a second grew worried the man seem quite confident in his ability to dodge it and had a smirk on his face while watching it come at him. But his kick still landed, it was almost like the man had let him, komon quickly pushed off when the kick connected not wanting the man to get ahold of another one of his limbs and scurried back to the far end of the room. Before pulling himself up, he got himself into a defensive position expecting the almost bloodlusted man to already be charging at him.

He was met with surprise however when he looked up to see that the man was just standing there, with no hostility towards Komon. The man simply put his hand to his jaw as if to check on its health, he had obviously felt the force of Komon’s kick and wanted to make sure there was no permanent damage. For a second Komon was worried the kick may have only angered the man, but his opponent's response was perhaps more surprising than anything that had happened so far in this combat exercise room.

Komon had to replay the moment in his head just to make sure he had heard the man correctly. “We’re done, you pass, go get yourself looked at.” the hostility in the man’s voice had left him, and the man who had just moments before been trying to snap komon in half and beat him to a bloody pulp was no telling him that he had passed the requirements for his chuunin exam, despite Komon only landing one hit on the man, a hit he suspected the man had let him make. “This has to be some kind of trick, he’s going to wait for me to go to that door and beat the shit out of me” Was Komons first thought.

But Komon’s arms where in a tremendous amount of pain, and despite the facade he had been putting on, he wasn’t confident in his abilities to continue his fight, he would of course fight until he could no longer move if he had to, but at the moment it seemed he didn’t. Komon took a look at the man one last time and began to study his face. If the man aimed to trick him he showed no signs of it in his facial expressions, and Komon considered himself a decent lie detector. After a grand total of about 20 seconds of doubt Komon began to believe the situation.

Carefully Komon began to walk to the door his byakugan still active so he had a 360 degree view of the room, if this was a trick he’d figure it out shortly and hopefully have time to react. As he reached the door he began to realize it wasn’t however and turned the knob. At the last second however a thought popped to the front of his head that he just had to tell to the man. “Thank you for not holding back on me… You’ve shown me how much I still need to train.” he would say before leaving the room.

Now free of the exam komon began to exit the plus shaped building, the jounin who he had not gotten along with earlier in the day almost seemed to pity him as he walked outside of his exam room, his arms dangling from their sockets. Every little movement ached with pain. Komon had to find his way to the hospital when he made it out of the building of course but he still had one thing left to do. He walked up to the jounin who had given him his letter and asked the man when the next exam would take place, and if it would require the use of his arms.

The man laughed at komons joke before telling him he had a week before his exam and that he was not allowed to reveal the nature of the exam to him. Komon thanked the man for his help before he walked down the hallway all the way to the front of the building and reached the front door. He opened it and stepped out onto the streets of Kumo happy he had passed his preliminary but also fearful of what may lie ahead. This had been his most difficult exam yet and he was not sure how he felt about advancing at the moment. Komon scanned the area knowing his destination was around here somewhere…. Until he saw the hospital off in the distance and began to walk towards it, he desperately wanted to get his arms back into place as soon as possible, he was also curious about the building as he had never been to it.
