What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Sat Jul 18, 2015 12:51 am
Oh well of course he saw poor little James dressed up as a leaf village cheerleader. His hair tied up in pigtails, and a good amount of makeup applied to his face, making him looked like the biggest drag queen to ever step foot into the forest. "Go, go Drac, rah rah rah. He's our man, ha ha ha." Get it because he's the hyena? Anyway. Hiru and Lingqi high fived each other because they were frat boys and thought their jokes were awesome. After that they saw that Drac wasn't too amused with their antics. Well sometimes jokes just didn't tickle a person's fancy.

She shrugged and threw James onto her back. Heavy little guy, he was! With a final heft she threw the dude up over her shoulder and got to work. "Due west it is!" She announced, not completely not paying attention, after all! "Have you ever read the journey to the west Drac?" She asked her good chum Drac. She feared not this Orange sun group. No matter how bright or flamboyant their costumes were it did not match up to her own monkey costume. And there was only seven of them? Ha! They had three people! + James! She and Hiru had the most amazing combo's possible, and Drac... well she was sure that he could do something worth while. If not looks like Hiru would have to carry the team!

She looked to James who was on her back.

She supposed that she already partially was.

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Sat Jul 18, 2015 11:14 pm
Draconis and the farmer were both stunned speechless by what Lingqi and Hiru the monkey duo had been up too. “Umm… Thanks…” Draconis managed to get out to the farmer before he signaled to head off to the water melon patch to the others. It was then that he noticed that they did not even need to stop for the farmer. It was a waste of ryo but at least it was for a good cause, trying to bribe the farmer or such. Between the comatose partner, the uninvited partner, the scatter-brained partner, unco-operative farmer, the large missing ninja group, and having to give up some ryo, he was starting to get a bit of a headache, perhaps one that would be cured by killing off some enemies of the village. Though to be frank, some times he got really tired of the village, almost to the point of leaving. There were still people he had to train though but not all the time any more. The village might be able to manage for itself, soon he might wish to see what he could find in the great wide open world. Not only did he have a head ache coming on, his new kidney from the comatose partner was still not doing much. For some reason, even though it was hooked up proper by that missing ninja Mitsui, whatever his last name was, the kidney did not feel like it was properly connected to the rest of his body. At this rate it would never re-connect with his body, well, for the first time any way, and he would not be able to use the Jugo DNA he was supposed to be able to use at some point. Annoying as hell but there was nothing he could do about it at the moment really.

Signalling the others to follow him, he said [color=#ff0000]“I don’t think we can revive James, and it is urgent that we chase of after this “Orange Sun” group, in the worst case scenario we will have to leave him somewhere as safe as possible, we cannot afford to lose ground, even if the missing information is a bunch of dirty pictures or whatever. I don’t think we should keep him with us, perhaps instead with that farmer.”

He would start walking out through the water melon patch, noting the stalks missing their fruit to get a bearing on their direction.

He would keep an eye on Lingqi, making sure he moved at a pace she could keep up or catch up to. He would reply to her query when she was near him again while they moved down the trail. “No, I’m afraid I have not read that. I have not had much time for reading anything recreational generally. What is that about?” The impromptu book club would walk down the road, the odd group quite possibly attracting the attention of any missing ninjas nearby except that there were none that would show up on the road for a good while until after they had finished their informal book club, with four members, of which only one had read the book and only two could speak at all in an intelligible fashion, at least from the perspective for one of them. No telling what the other could tell.

He began walking out into the forest, still following the trail. Up ahead, after a couple of miles, he began noticing a bunch of scattered bits and pieces of orange fabric. Touching a piece and feeling it, it was slightly worn, as if the piece had been worn. [color=#ff0000]“Must be part of their uniform or something.”

He kept walking, motioning for silence in case there were enemies nearby. Using his Byakugan, he scouted around but found no enemies in their immediate vicinity. He did spy a suspicious looking group of orange clad people in weird outfits a good distance away.

If James had not been left behind yet, he would say “This area should be safe, the enemies are quite far away but seem to be setting up camp. We should leave him here so that he doesn’t get taken out by a stray kunai.” If Lingqi seemed to want to keep him around anyway, Draconis would shrug and say [color=#ff0000]“All right then, but let’s be careful ok?”

He would continue onwards, using his Byakugan to zero in on an enemy camp, while suppressing his chakra signature, he would find the Orange Sun group being scattered around a clearing and lounging about, completely not paying attention.

Coming to a stop out of earshot of the lazy looking group, Draconis signaled Lingqi to stop. Briefly looking around the camp, he found a tent which inside had a small box crammed with papers. Looks like they were important, they were the same kind of design thing that he had seen before. Speaking quietly just in case, he said to Lingqi [color=#ff0000]“Ok, the tent has a box on a table with the papers inside. We have several ways we can approach this – we can attack them directly, but even in their current state someone might get away with the papers. How about one of us do the diversion and one of us do the stealing. What part do you and Hiru want? Either way I don’t think you two should be fighting yet unless you are very confident in your abilities."

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Tue Jul 28, 2015 10:36 pm
As Drac left so too did Lingqi, and Hiru, along with their human backpack James. They would leave the befuddled farmers far and away saftely tending to their cute little melon groves, turnips too. She thought that that looked like a fun little life. Sure they weren't slinging magic around like wizards but not everyone could be that cool. Before they truly left Ling and Hiru would turn around to face the famers. They'd be standing high up in a tree, and they'd bid farewell to the agriculturist with a grandiose wave. "Good by my men of the earth. My farmers, growers of live, and harvesters of food. You will always remember this as the day that you ALMOST died to Lingqi Rentei Greatest kunochi to ever be partnered with a monkey. Goodnight and make sure to tip your waitress." Her exit firmly ingrained into the minds of the farmers she left. Trailing behind not far behind drac. Her eyes would be hyper blue from her families own special brand of eyes. Not that they did anything for her at the moment, she just didn't want to feel left behind.

Come to think of it Lingqi had no reason at all why she'd commented on journey to the west. Wait a second maybe she did. There was a monkey. Perhaps she thought that Hiru was sun wukong? Oh well she'd go a head and say what she currently thought that she was referring to only moments ago. That's the problem with being a monkey girl. "Well it's about a monk and his three friends, and they journey to the west to spread their 22 scriptures. One of his friends is a monkey named sun wukong. And they travel into the west which is where the sun set, so a lot of images has our crew traveling off into a sunset. And we're currently heading for a group named after the sun. I just thought that those were some pretty hilarious parallels to be drawn between that book and the current situation. Plus there are three of us, and a monkey so that would fit. Thought I think I could count as a monkey too. There is also a pig demon, and a fish demon, but I don't think either of us are those guys. I suppose James is the pig demon, because he can't object to it. Maybe I'm the budhaa! Which would make you the fish demon." She erupted into a fit of giggles and clutched her sides.  "Bùcuò Bùcuò mr fish demon!" Ah man. Ling was just a laugh riot. But for a hyena he didn't seemed to laugh at her jokes all that much. What a loser. Ling was hilarious. Monkeys were scientifically the funniest of all animals. That was just plain math, you couldn't argue with that.

They traveled for a wile miraculiously in silence. Lingqi was much to busy thinking about life, and her ambitions for the future. which were all at once not that many and enteirly too vast in number to count. THe problem with being passionate about everything is htat end the end you weren't passionate about anything at all. Which lead to to invest her complete dedication to one thing for only a few hours before she found that she could no longer to bare doing it. Which would lead her into doing something else completely . Hahah actually she'd been a genjutsu specialist when she firt became a ninja, but quickly abandoned that for ninjutsu and now she was kind of regretting that. Genjutsu was her family heritage and now tha t she was so far from them she wanted to join in on that family tradition at least to just feel close to her family who she was growing to miss more and more with every passing day.

Any way.

"Orange fabric eh?" She announced taking the fabric from drac and running it under her nose to try and get a scent. Wait, she couldn't track that way... oh well! She gave it to Hiru, who gave her an equally confused looked. "Monkey's don't track either eh?" She shrugged. "Worth a shot." She threw the fabric over her shoulder, and kept on going. "They're wearing orange how hard could they be to spot... wait I'm wearing yellow... oh darn." Now she couldn't exactly throw the mad disses down on these no brained bandits could she?

They stopped in a clearing and Drac asked her if she would like to hide Jason here. "Sure." She announced throwing him overboard. straight onto the dirt. She looked Drac in the eye. "But I really wanted to use him as a weapon to kill those bandits though." And when she said kill it was so freaking casual and without any meaning that it was utterly shocking. She said it as if she was stating that she was going to go grab a soda from the fridge. Ice cold.

Lingqi crouched down along with Drac as he explained the situation. A front up attack, or a distraction eh. Well she kind of wanted to fight and show off what a beast she was, but she understood if drac was scared and wanted to take the cowards way out. That was fine for her, she was not only an excellent fighter but a heck of a ninja too. Drac finished his speech and looked to ling asking her what she got. She scratched her nose and looked over to her monkey who was returning with the notes they were talking about. She shrugged, grabbed the papers and handed them to Drac. "I guess monkeys are more stealthy than ninja!"

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Wed Jul 29, 2015 2:11 pm
“Wow, that is some serious stealth skills you have there. Shall we go get some exercise then and go thrash some bandits, since we do not have to worry about anyone making off with them? Maybe later I should go train with Hiru a bit.” Draconis took the papers from Lingqi who had gotten them from the monkey, and put them into James’ shirt, for lack of a better place. At the same time, a massive cry arose from the bandits camp when evidently they had discovered the papers to be missing. Uh oh. Draconis went and stuffed James into some shrubbery, at his current stat of health it was unlikely he would be noticed even by chakra sensory. Checking real quick with his Byakugan, yep, the papers in the box were definitely gone, and nope there was nothing else it looked like needed doing. “By the way, that story sounds like a fun read, I will look into it later. Even a fish demon would be better than not being scary at all.” He smiled wryly. Unfortunately he had a sense of humor but it was typically on vacation for reasons unexplained.

"Let’s dance!” Draconis rushed into the clearing, and happily began running around punching people, in an attempt to train for a technique he had only just decided to work on for various reasons determined by the great semi omnipotent force that controlled his actions and to some degree his destiny, though the exact reasoning would probably never be determined by Draconis. It mattered little.

As he entered the clearing, some of the Orange Sun people noticed him, and some did not. Out of both groups, some collapsed in a drunken stupor or were on drugs or something as they did not react, unless you count falling over unconscious while still breathing, though this was not directly because of anything Draconis had done, more instead being a massive coincidence that was also preordained by a mysterious being that controlled all of Draconis’ actions. Draconis was a puppet, given a tragic history, but he did not know it. So if someone else had decided differently, the Hyuuga would have taken care of him like a stray kitten – carefully, gently, without taking him to school. Just because, the mysterious force controlling Draconis made him wonder what he would have been like if he grew up normally. Cold for sure, but what else.

But back to the mission and enough of this weird out of character rambling. Draconis began working on gathering chakra, and every time he punched a bandit he released the wave, so that they were blasted away. Just for good measure though, he tried to not kill them, merely to stun them, so that he could hit them again later. He also spent some time punching the tents and their ilk, so that he could get more practice in on this jutsu he had largely spontaneously decided to train, called the 8 Trigrams: Mountain Crusher technique, which was nice in a way because it was a lot shorter name wise than the 8 Trigrams: Palms Revolving Heaven, or the Gentle Fist: Abhorrent Amalgamation Aberration, the latter of which had about 15 syllables in it, which was surely a little excessive and entirely the fault of Draconis, being that he invented the technique

To be honest, if he was serious about it, he would be killing off the Orange Sun group pretty easily being that the ones who were not drunk to oblivioun were pitifully weak, but honestly it was so much more fun to get some jutsu training in. The orange sun group though might get pretty angry if they found out that Draconis was taking it easy on them and merely aiming for a cardio work out. However, there was nothing Draconis was going to do to keep Lingqi from going and killing any one of the missing ninjas, not even the ones he had not yet punched. Occasionally he was not able to hold back enough and he actually punched a hole in someone or something using his chakra, but hopefully they did not mind.

The Orange Sun group was easily being defeated but Draconis could feel a massive chakra signature approaching. “Lingqi, Hiru, lets finish these guys quickly, I can feel that some one else or some thing else is approaching and it could be real trouble.”

He began attacking the Orange Sun group for realsies this time, aiming to kill and not just to incapacitate.

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Wed Jul 29, 2015 9:33 pm
Lingqi shrugged when Dracosis mentioned training with Hiru. What all of the sudden they were friends now? Like what Drac knew anything about monkeys. Because he dint', he didn't . Absolutely not. Lingqi knew a thing or two about the ins and outs of being a monkey's best friend. But what did Drac know about anything. Nothing that's what. Lingqi and Hiru were the best of friends and now this poser was trying to horn in on their friendship. Yeah that wasn't going to happen buddy. Ling and Hiru were thick as thieves, and could not be separated! So train all you want Drac, but you weren't stealing Ling's boyfriend!

That being said she tossed Hiru a Kunai and told him to defend the Body of James. "Go and protect James. Protect him and his bloodline. Especially any organs that could be safely removed, and blamed on a bandit attack. Protect him from stuff like that Hiru. I don't want him loosing any disposable organs, because that would be bad for him. So take that kunai, and make sure to protect him from those who would want to do him harm. WINK" She also gave him a saucy wink as they parted ways. He was a monkey, she was sure that he'd be fine.Well James himself, but he was so close to death he might as well have been dead. Come one! The guy got struck by lightning and hasn't made a move since, he was probably in a bad way. But worry not the Mighty Hiru was sure to protect James.

Lingqi was more than happy to go into combat. She hadn't killed anyone since those loggers back when she was traveling through the jungle. It'd been much too long! She jumped to the trees and looked around to see what she could see. Drac was just running around punching people.... yup that's about how she felt about Taijutsu users. No wait... wait... wait we have a development. He started to punch a tent. Yeah he was punching a tent, that much was for sure. Ah man he was really going at it to. He was like... using advanced hand to hand combat kills on that tent. Man if that was a human they'd be in bad shape. Dang. Ling hurt just from watching that port tent getting the absolute stuffing beat out of it. She wondered what the tent had done to Drac in order to deserve such a mean beating. Perhaps it tried to attack him. Stole his girlfriend? Oh my! what if that tent killed his mother? Oh no! That tent totally deserved what it was getting right now. Ling cheered drac on as he beat up the tent. "Go go go go!" Then a few shuriken got thrown her way, and she had to jump to a higher up branch. Well these guys weren't very nice. Ling didn't like people who weren't nice!

She gave a giggle and weaved a series of hand signs before taking in a deep breath. "Super Mega, Ultimate Monkey Technique! Something something shamma lamma ding dong!" With that... let's face it... awesome and mind blowing name Lingqi finished her hand signs. From the camp their water barrels started to rumble and shake. Then the tops flew off of them and into the sky! Then from the water barrels the water itself became to rise into the sky. It quickly formed together, and begin to take on the shape of a giant gorilla. the gorilla banged it's chest, and then flew at the bandits that weren't take care of by Drac. With massive sweeps of his buldging arms the water monster swept bandits off their feat and flicked them into the tree tops. It's squashed, crushed, and utterly destroyed any bandits it came into contact with. Pretty cool.

Then she heard Drac warn her that someone was coming to attack them. And enemy eh? Well she couldn't sense him, because... ling was a notta so a good at that. But she'd be careful plus she had a giant water monster just killing everyone she could see so that was pretty cool. Not to mention she was kind of hidden up in the tree tops. "Bring it on world!" Okay not so hidden now.

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Wed Jul 29, 2015 11:49 pm
(ooc: to sum up my post: could you tell me how to use the water element? then 3 opponents arrive, one for me, one for lingqi, one ninja cat for hiru. for simplicities sake we should probably fight separately, i just gave yours a start)

Draconis began working feverishly on the Great Fire Annihilation jutsu. He could feel an oncoming presence that he did not like, and he wanted the highest power attack possible. Forgetting all of his progress on hand to hand combat, rendering all the attacking he had done to the people and the tents especially, useless, and making it all become wasted effort, he worked on making larger and larger streams of fire, limited in size to a mere 20 meters. At first though, he tried to make the power greater, setting the tents ablaze, and some of the people as well. He was honestly a little curious to see how Lingqi and Hiru handled blood and gore, if they were fine entirely, despite not having been on any bloody missions that he knew of, he would not know whether to be reassured or a little worried, since that was an indication of a more battle hardened and toughened veteran, and of the typical sociopath that you never, EVER, let into your house, or even your town cause next thing you know your pet dog is found mutilated on the side of the road yo. The only problem with this was that the water gorilla that Lingqi was controlling, had obviously been just made, and was annoyingly large.

“Can that thing punch out some large stuff too? Speaking of which, how did you train the water element? I have been trying for a while but I am kind of stuck. I am so close but so far. If you don’t really remember how you trained it, what do you do to control it?”

Draconis frowned a bit, unhappy about the whole thing. Hopefully Lingqi remembered something about how to train the water element, or at least something about how she used it, as due to various reasons the water element was not at all forthcoming to our hero, err, anti hero of sorts, which itself was dependent on your perspective and when this story was told to you. Well, whether she helped him or not, he was also going to train the water element, in between setting smashed, crushed, or mashed varieties of bandits on fire, charring the remains into oblivion with very controlled fires, leaving not a trace of the bandit after wards. He destroyed the remains of all the bandits, as the massive creature strode into view, the source of the giant chakra. The only issue was, it was striding through the trees, quite literally. Each massive foot seemed to be phasing through or something. Hmmm… Draconis had seen, no, he had made illusions more realistic than what this seemed to be.

He made the Genjutsu Release sign, flowed his chakra, and the giant creature, shaped like a gorilla of sorts, disappeared. Using his Byakugan to find the source, he saw a pair of ninja with a pet cat behind them, probably of the ninja variety, walking towards them. They would not be able to see Draconis yet, so he pretended to be frozen, weaving the signs for the Great Fire Annihilation technique again, this time he would aim to hit them with a 20 meter wide stream of fire, the concentration would make it stronger into a different technique altogether. Well, it was not necessarily a new technique entirely, as there were many variants of the same kind of fire jutsu. Still, it was different enough to be considered a different technique. He did not look behind him to see what Lingqi was doing, through the Byakugan, since that would be useless, any speaking on his part would make it look like he was not caught in the genjutsu either. That being said, perhaps if her clan was used to genjutsu then maybe they would be able to resist it better.

The two ninjas and the ninja cat walked into the clearing, and saw Draconis. One of them whispered to the other, and the second threw a kunai at Draconis. The first then spoke to the ninja cat “Get that Monkey hiding over there, and the boy he is working on mutilating. Take no Quarter! Revenge for my Orange Sun Comrades shall be had!!!” Quieting down a bit, the first one said “You take that one, she has a weaker chakra signature, though it is decently strong. I got this one. He does not seem that strong. Literally.”

The first ninja approached Draconis, and his appearance finally sunk in, his appearance tanned like he spent more time at the beach than training. His arms were pretty thick like he only lifted weight, or women at the beach, something like that, they were pretty big. That being said, for a ninja he might not be very strong. He wore combat shorts, whatever the heck those were, that was what they looked like. He wore square glasses that resembled a rounded rectangle, and were colored, well, orange, behind a pair of goggles that were also orange on the outside. Weird. Did I mention his shorts were orange too? Even his hair was orange, it was like Draconis was gonna fight the Orange Sun mascot. Weird as heck dude.

Draconis did not care a whit and launched his version of the Great Fire Annihilation tech, the concentrated version, the fire missing the second ninja and the ninja cat was long gone. Draconis cursed under his breath though as the ninja jumped over the thing. “He’s mine!” Draconis shouted, preparing a second attack with hand seals. He would be done before the second one landed.

Meanwhile, the ninja cat and the second ninja approached Hiru in the background and Lingqi respectively, it looked like they were about to attack. In fact, the Ninja Cat streaked off into the bushes, making a big racket. Meanwhile, the second ninja, Lingqi’s opponent, released a stream of water, that arced towards Lingqi.

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Thu Jul 30, 2015 2:03 am
Lingqi’s stocking covered legs were hung around a tree branch. Her blue hair floated above her head, and looked like it was reaching for the ground. Her hyper blue eyes observed the battle field and danced around it with delight. She was so cool doing her jutsu. All these bandits were like ants to her giant donkey kong. None of them even stood a chance at even challenging her. It made her giggle with delight as their frail and hopeless bodies bent, and broke under the weight of crashing water, and powerful fists. Being a ninja was hard work but you know sometimes it was worth it. Times like these.

Her stomach lurched for a second as a terrible pain ripped through it. That beasty used a lot of chakra, and she could feel the magical stuff draining from her body. She was a naturally acrobatic lady so she didn’t have much stamina left for Jutsu or stuff like that. She closed her eyes and just swung randomly with her water beast as she waited for the pains to stop and go away. Once she felt relief she would sigh and open up her eyes back to the beautiful carnage that was taking place before her. Lovely really.
It was then that she heard talking. Talking about her specifically, and Hiru. But let’s face it Hiru was the only person keeping this team going so it wasn’t going to be a problem when he got attacked. She had to focus on her own survival. She turned her attention away from the camp which was just thoroughly destroyed now. Like there was not even a question that She and Drac and done a bloody good job in trashing the place. It was a shame because it actually looked like a pretty good camping spot.

When she turned she came to find herself facing a man charging at her. His face said that he had the intention to kill her on it. That was not a look which Ling was happy to see on a person’s face. She’d always thought that she was such a friendly lady. Who would ever want to do her wrong? The man had blonde hair but you couldn’t really tell because it was shaved down to the scalp. A nasty scar sat atop his nose that made it looked a little deformed. You could tell he was a bad guy because he had an ugly scar and not a pretty scar. His eyes were blue, and his fists were clenched as if he meant to attack Ling with all of his might. A torrent of water came at Ling ah she reacted as qucily as she could clapping her hands together and forming a spiral of water around her to disperse the water. You know what they say, fight water with water! He was fast too. Ling only knew that because she didn’t even have time to react to his attack. He flew at her fist clenched and with a mighty blow threw his fist into her stomach and sent her flying from the trees through her water beast and onto the ground below. All of the minor bandits were dead by now, so the water beast just exploded when she went flying through it. But she was thankful for it softening her blow.
She laid there in shock for a moment. It was unbelievable. Someone had just touched her, hurt her. No one had ever done that before, not even close. She felt the heat of the would pulsate from her stomach and she felt the sensation most knew as pain flow thorugh her. Owy. She wondered why it was that this man had hurt her. No one had ever hurt her before why would this guy be the first? What was different about him? Nothing really. She’d killed other people’s friends before and no one had ever hurt her for it. She wondered what was wrong with that man, there had to be something wrong with him if he’d go and do such a mean thing to her.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she felt the pain pulsing from her stomach. It pulsed, and pulsed, and pulsed. It felt bad.

At first. She felt sorrow and angush wash through her brain for a brief few seconds. Those underused pathways burst through her like a broken damn for seconds Lingqi felt like the world was ending and that she was going insane. All in one moment she’d experienced pain as well as the negative emotions she’d become immune to. Both physically and physiologically she wasn’t able to handle what was happening. Luckily her conditioning kicked in. Hears of her parents flooding her brain with genjutsu had caused and interesting affect. Whenever Ling would cry or feel bad as a babe her parents would put her under a genjutsu so that she would stop. After a while though they didn’t need to do this anymore. Lings body became able to cast the genjutsu on herself on instinct. Whenever she would feel negative emotions her own body would flood her brain with happy chakra to numb the pain and make her happy once more.

Slowly though the pulses started to numb. The pain came less harshly now, and become friendlier. Maybe it felt bad for being such a Meany earlier. It lightened and eventually disappeared. The pain did but no the pulsing. The pulsing took on this strange feeling after a couple of seconds. It wasn’t a pain type of thing. It actually felt kind of good. Like a warm little massage starting from her belly button it was kind of good. Then really good. She sighed softly as she felt the pain crawl over her stomach. This was fun! She liked feeling new sensations.

Tis is always how it was for Ling. One big happy euphoric cloud that hung over her and drowned out everything that was sad and grey. Even the threat of actual physical violence or death could not stop her parade now. Even as the man jumped down from his tree top and onto the grass Ling just laid there. Basking in the wondrous euphoria that her stomach pain had become.

“Why hello there.” She announced with a giggle as the man lifted Ling up by her collar and throttled her.

The man spat. “You killed my friends you think this is funny? You think this is some kind of a game?”

“Isn’t it…” Lingqi was silenced by a punch across her face. “Hey.” She snapped at first, eyes welling up with more tears. Then it hit again. A eurphoic blast that felt like a grenade going off in her brain. Live wire. She giggled and looked at the man. “Why are you being so nice to me?” She chuckled. As she said those words a little bubble made of spit and blood swelled up in her mouth a popped as she moved her mouth.

The man could only grunt, as he grew tired of things girl’s stupid games. He threw her aginst a tree not far from him, and began to dig around in his pocket.

This time her body didn’t even recognize the pain, it just went straight towards a blissful feeling in the back of her head, and back as she slammed into a tree. She giggle deliriously as she saw her vision double, and that funny iron taste in her mouth grew sweet like grape soda. Getting hurt really wasn’t as bad as everyone pretended it was. Maybe that’s what they did pretended. They didn’t want ling to know how super fun it was to get hurt so they could have all the fun to themselves. Well that wasn’t very nice. Ling liked to have fun too! She bet that  they just didn’t want her to get in on it, because she could get way more hurt than any of them ever could.
It was then that she saw her new friend approaching her. A knife was drawn in his hands. Malace was on his face and it looked like their little game had come to an end. Lings eyes lit up as she saw the knife. Oh man, she could only imagine how good that would feel when he used it on her. It was probably going to…

Ling couldn’t even finish the thought. She blacked out completely before the man could get too close to her with the weapon drawn. However just because she was not conscious did not mean that she wasn’t able to keep on fighting. Hey eyes grew bleery and lost their focus and color. Though they remained a dull blue. She shifted her body positon slightly and stared at the man approaching her. Though her body didn’t feel anything any longer. “Lune protocol activated.” She announced in a emotionless voice which was devoid of inflection in her sentence structure.

“What?” The man asked pausing momentarily, slightly thrown off by the change in voice. “Are you…”

“Threat to this body detected. Fighting analysis… Taijutsu. Formulating best counter attack… Genjutsu recommended. Proceeding with Primary directive: Eliminate the threat, secure the body, proceeding…” With no further words Ling blinked and when she opened her eyes back open the normally blue orbs were overlayed with the image of a full moon.

The man only had a precious few seconds to respond to the new data. But those seconds were swifly over, and he was gone. His mind at least. Vanished from this earth. Instead he found himself actually staring at a full moon high above the earth. It’s reflection going over forever over calm placid lake. He could hear nothing, smell nothing, feel nothing. He was just simply trapped in the eternal tranquility of the moon and the ocean, Luna and the tides that she pulled.

“Threat disabled.” Ling, or whoever was controlling her body announced. “Permanent elimination commencing.” She stalked over to the man, robotically getting to her feet, and walking forward. With one motion she drew a kunai slit the mans throat and returned it to her sheat. “Threat neutralized. Body safe. Deactivating Luna Protocol.”

With a blink of her eyes Ling was back, our normal happy go lucky ling. She looked down at the head body and shrugged. “What happened to my friend?” she shrugged. He was probably a fair weather friend any way. Didn’t really care about Lingqi. She was off to find her one true friend Hiru, and see now he was handling himself.

And how was our brave monkey handling himself? Wonderfully thanks for asking. He was currently have a boxing match with a ninja cat. Just a normal everyday sort of situation for a person who lived in the ninja world. Of course Hiru was the greatest ninja out of everyone in this group so he took that Cat down without even a problem He went into his Monkey Kung Fu mode and with a single punch that Cat was effing out of commission! It was like ‘Meow that hurt.’ And Hiru didn’t even care. He was a stone cold killer. Not that he killed the cat, that would be horrible. He just punched the cat out. Come on! He wasn’t an animal.

“Oh my god, Hiru!” Ling shouted in shock. “Did that cat rip out James’s femur bone?” Ling asked suddenly seeing the wound on james.

“Eeeep, eeek, oook, oooooh.” The money responded in the affirmation.

“Dang we better get him to the hospital so we can grow that back for him!” She announced. “Oh give me that bone too, so I can keep it…. For safe keeping.”

She threw a james bone into her pack threw james over her own shoulder, and would wait for drac to finish up his fight. Before heading off to the hospital with James. “Well boss it’s been great, but I gotta get this guy somewhere safe before that leg get’s nasty. It’s been a blast. I can fill out the report with you when I get him taken care of!"

What Happened? (James, Lingqi) - Page 2 Empty Re: What Happened? (James, Lingqi)

Draconis must have had a version of the Attention Deficit Disorder, or at least the mysterious force controlling him must be unable to decide what he would learn. Having finally settled on a method of attack, Draconis finished the hand seals, and began growing hair. Lots of it. In fact, he was going to prick this guy to death if at all possible. He started by pointing the hairs at the other fellow, and began working on hardening the hairs. At first nothing happened, but after a while they began to harden. It was now that it occurred to him that firstly, it was a bad idea to harden the hairs before forming the needle senbon, and secondly, that It was honestly a dumb idea to try something he had never done before in the middle of deadly wombat, err, combat. Hopefully Draconis was a faster learner than every one else though though, or he would be entirely too busy defending him self.

Well, the other fellow was about 5 meters above the ground now, it was now or never to try this out. Draconis twisted large clumps of hair, hardened them, and then launched them at the opponent. Most of them fell, but the large muscular fellow did have to dodge one particularly large clump. Draconis cursed, he had been too slow, and thought for far too long, he had goofed off a bit in training it seemed. Now he might have to pay for his idiocy. He hurriedly tried twisting the projectiles into smaller segments, close to twice the size of Senbon, those needles that some liked to use a lot. Launching those, he saw about a quarter of them spray out, forcing the opponent back. Awesome. Keep spraying! Then he noticed he was out of ammo, and so did the opponent. Crap. Too late, he noticed the opponent circling around while he was distracted. Hurriedly forming more projectiles, he tried to keep them around the same size as the senbon he had admired in the store, and was that the opponent still charging him from the side? Good thing Draconis was able to launch a bunch of hair again! He fired a massive salvo, that this time actually resembled the jutsu he was trying to train, almost skewering the other ninja, who dived to the ground, and avoided all the damage. Standing up, the opponent was confronted by Draconis who stood all of 5 meters away, his hair needles bristling and numbering in the impressive amounts of half a dozen, causing the opponent to burst into laughter.

Royally annoyed, Draconis grew more hair needles and unleashed a more complete barrage at the opponent. At the same time, cause he was being an idiot as usual, he also began playing the water element around, forming puddles with it that flowed from his hands.

This only served to infuriate the opponent, however, and he charged, and this time had to defend himself, as Draconis managd to launch a nice strong volley of about a hundred needles of hair. Most of them were deflected, but the other fellow was not feeling so peppy any more. Heh.

Draconis weaved hand seals again while the other fellow was down, stopping producing the water element for a brief moment. He grew a shit ton of hair needles while the other fellow was down, and then he launched a massive volley at the opponent. This time the opponent stood no chance. He was almost literally turned into a human pin cushion, looking a little gruesome actually. Fortunately, while Draconis had found out at the same moment that he could spray about a thousand needles (which he had counted) in an 180 degree arc centered on his immediate front, he had managed to miss Lingqi, Hiru, and James, while at the same time for silly reasons, had managed to skewer a surviving Orange Sun member, who had just awoken from his drunken slumber.

Finished with the mission, he quickly grabbed the papers, which had fallen out of James’ shirt while he was operated on, and, clutching them tightly, made sure to only produce water element chakra with the hand not holding them. Thus equipped, he ran all the way back to base, following Lingqi.
