Clone jutsu!

Ram-Snake-Tiger "Clone Jutsu!" Nothing happened. "I don't understand." said Jason, shaking his head. "What am I doing wrong? I made the seals we were taught in class..." Jason punched the ground, trembling in frustration. Jason had been practicing the clone technique all morning with little success. Actually with no success at all. He hadn't been able to properly pull off the technique even once.

         "Jason." said a familiar voice. Jason looked up from the place on the ground he had been staring at. Looking down at him was Captain Masashi Kimimoto, a jounin who had always been kind of a role model to Jason. "Why are you sitting on the ground all alone out here?" Captain Kimimoto asked Jason, that mischievous grin on his face. He must've just returned from a long mission because he had on his flak jacket and shoulder blade. He was also wearing the backpack he usually takes when going on missions.

       "What do you want Masashi? Can't you see I'm busy?" Jason said, standing up and preparing his chakra. Ram-Snake-Tiger. Jason made the signs again, just as he had been all morning. Holding his hands in the Tiger seal, he felt the chakra forming around him. This time felt different. He would do it right. Masashi showing. up made Jason determined not to fail. "Clone Jutsu!" Jason exclaimed and held the image of himself in his mind.

       "Woah nice job kid. That's probably the best clone I've seen from a student in while. So this is what you've been up to out here huh?"

      "Shut up Masashi. I'm not a kid anymore." Jason said with a dangerous glare at Captain Kimimoto. Then Jason's clone disappeared in a puff of smoke and him and Masashi broke out in laughter together. "It's good to see you Masashi. How did your mission go?" asked Jason as he wiped tears from his face from laughing so hard with his friend.
            
         "Eh you know, we're all back in one piece. But nevermind that, how about I help you practice your clone jutsu. It looks like you've almost mastered it."

         "Yea well, that was actually the first time I've been able to successfully complete the jutsu. I still have a little ways to go before I've fully mastered it. Got any pointers for me?"

      "How about you try the jutsu again so I can observe and I'll give you any pointers I have afterward. Now go ahead."

      "Fine. Here I go." Ram-Snake-Tiger It was just like last time. Jason held the image of himself in his head. He could feel the chakra flowing, doing exactly what he wanted it to. He knew it was going to be a perfect copy. "Clone jutsu!"
      Immediately Jason knew it worked. The impressed look on Masashi's face said it all. An arrogant smirk crept across both Jason's faces. "I bet you can't tell which of us is the real one, can yo-"
      Woosh! Jason was interrupted by a kunai being thrown through his clone. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR MORON!? You could've killed me!"
     
      "HAHAHAHAHA! Please Jason. That was a really impressive clone but since I'm a jounin I could clearly see through it. But it looks like you've really got the technique down. Good job."

       Jason wanted to punch Masashi in the face for that little trick. But it was starting to get late and he needed to go home. He had class at the academy again tomorrow and if he was late again Izumi was going to be furious. "Yea whatever Masashi. Its getting late, I should head home. If you're heading that way we could walk together."

      "Sorry Jason but I still have to go report back on my mission. Actually I've been here too long already. I'll see you around Jason. Later" and with that Masashi disappeared in a flash leaving Jason standing there alone.

      "He thinks hes so cool. Always disappearing on me, that asshole. Whatever. I need to head back too." and Jason turned and headed back in the direction of his house.
