Seat of Power(Takeover)

Agito walked into the office and he looked around he saw dust and cobwebs. He figured he would clean up some. Once he was finished he seen the orders from Echo and shook his head an as he did his eyes fell upon the seat he has longed for first to live his brothers dream but now his own reasons.One to give a better name for River leaders then the one his brother made for them Two who is keeping everything from falling apart and Three who better to run the village in the name of Echo since Echo liked to be gone almost all the time.And lastly he was a River his brother ran the village once to surpass him he would need to do a better job then his brother did.

Agito began to sit in the chair and wrote a letter "Dear Echo I write this letter to you to inform you I am taking over Iwa for you.As your still my sensei it will be in your name I stay and watch over this village please dont be mad with me sir I need to do this to purify the River clan name" he then sent the fastest bird they had to Echo and he waited in the chair for someone to question him or till he was certain no one would question his takeover.

As Agito just sat down in the leader's chair like it was nothing, Kozai burst in through the door, panting. Agito... how long had it been since he had seen the River jonin since... since the deep freeze. He was eager to catch up on things, to talk if elements and weather with the man he had once stopped from leaving the village. Agito had not left any recordings for Kozai, which worried him greatly. Had something big happened to Agito while he was gone? Agito's chakra felt... different, but Kozai didnt know how. He walked through the open doors, a key sign that something was off. A cultured man such as Agito would probably not leave those as they were, but maybe it was just Kozai's cynical side speaking. However, when he looked at the leader chambers...

No. It couldn't be. Kozai's worst fears had been confirmed.
That was Agito... in Echo's chair. If Kozai's personalities had still been split, Good would have cried out in shocked lamentation, while Evil would have killed him on the spot. He would have shredded Agito's body all over the seat of power, and spat on it too. However, the more rational Kozai, now more cold and thoughtful, considered a less gory solution. So, he raised his eyebrows and spoke. None of his internal, more negative emotions would show, but they were still there nevertheless. He began, "Hello, Agito River. It has been quite a while, hasn't it?I see that you take upon yourself the power that was, and still is, Echo's. Regardless of your rationalizing, I would ask that you step away from that chair." Here, Kozai's voice grew soft and lethal, like the ice that could come forth from his chakra at any given point. "If you do not... I will be forced to end the life of a friend. Although, I'm sure your body will give me useful data. I'm warning you, Agito... do NOT be like your brother, or I may be forced to treat you as Echo treated him." With this ltimatum, he would stand there, a mere 5 meters away from Agito, before Agito could start writing. Kozai was ready, chakra senses attuned and the power of suiton coursing through him, like it had so many times before. Perhaps this time... would be his last. He waited, hoping that his friend would give in easily. If he had to kill Agito... the lost potential would haunt his psyche forever.

He smiled up at Kozai "Hello dear friend nice to see you again" he went back to writing the letter but spoke to Kozai aswell "Kozai an order from Echo calls all lower ranked ninja away. Leaving two to three Jonin in the village to protect it. People are begining to question Echo and his choices. I am simply giving them a new face to look up to but Echo will still give the orders just through me. I only take it upon myself to do it to clear my families name. I am nothing like Near anymore. "  He would throw the file on his brother on the table " I know everything now and I dont want world control just want this village the one ive known as home to stay safe and in one piece. So I am writing Echo to let him know this do you have any issuse or questions? cause I would actually love to have your intelligence by my side on this." by this time the letter was finished and ready to be mailed

Kozai listened to Agito, and as he did so, the furrow on his brow deepened. An old part of him screamed "liar, liar, he's lying!", but Kozai had considered that perhaps his influence on Agito had changed the man. Nevertheless, he needed to affirm certain things with Agito. He considered that Agito had been now filled with Pride, and that things were now about to go the same way that they had with old Near. If that happened... if he had to pass the days with Agito gazing at him as if he were an object... no, it would be too much. That kind of existence... he could not go through that again. Humans are humans, not objects. 
"Agito... you know very well I'm more rational than that. Words alone- no, not even weak actions will persuade me that you are not taking on Near's mantle. Prove it to me, Agito!" That sentence was said with a kind of desperation. He needed to know, to assess his friend. "Prove to me that you're not him. I wont stand for another arrogant River at the head of Iwa." With that, he would prepare himself, ready to perform handseals.. or to embrace a long-lost comrade. Regardless of which, he would need to return to Taki soon.

Agito looked at Kozai with a long face then he removed the locket that had Nears hair in it and tossed it to him he then opened his arms wide welcoming anything to happen " Well my friend if me returning the last bit of my brother isnt enough" then he take the River family jacket he wore and tossed it to the side once more hands open " This village needs a leader who thinks of them not for the person themself I will no longer be Agito River I will be Agito Iwaga named after the village I swear to defend with me life and do everything in my power to make happy and keep safe" he closed his eyes and raised his head as he waited for his friend to pass judgement

Kozai sighed, the man really was a truly different creature from himself. Family ties, clan honor, brotherhood... these things had no bearing on Kozai's daily life whatsoever. In truth, he knew that the actions that Agito had just performed probably meant a great deal to his friend. Kozai had no clue what it was like to give tghe last piece of your brother to someone, he thoguht, as he moved forward while stowing the locket in his lab coat. Now... he neded to shove some sense into Agito's brain.
He embraced agito, his chin resting on the man's right shoulder. His hands were placed on either side of the man's upper back... 

And then Kozai's fingers would press with cold strength into Agito's back ( power 50), which, enhanced with the power of blackwater, would drain stamina (50 ap) from Agito's body. Kozai's grip would be held at a decent strength (40), but would tighten (to 90) if Agito showed any sign of struggling. "I require more than that, Agito 'Iwaga', though to others you may have already proven yourself. Come, follow Echo's orders with me, and redeem the River family name directly. Echo doesn't like a man who hides behind paper, you know. He'll then see you as a more capable leader than Near."
With that, his chakra drain would cease, but Kozai would remain on his guard. Would Agito show humi.ity, the opposite of pride, and present himself to Echo?

After the release Agito looked at Kozai as he was slightly weakened and smiled softly saying to him "Orders were for Genin and Chunnin but i guess a Jonin escort wouldnt be uncalled for gotta make sure you make it safly there" and with that he got back to his feet and walked out leaving the River coat behind him on the floor.

Kozai relaxed his grip, and smiled slightly as his friend left the room. He had left his jacket behind... Kozai wondered what old Near would have said to that. Rebellion from one of his own clan members. Well, it was good in the end, then, that Near was dead. It was nowtime to get back to business. He called out after Agito, "Go on ahead of me, I need to see a friend." With that, Kozai would leave via the window, landing on a rooftop a few feet below. He needed to check his lab... and keep his appointments. There was someone he still needed to see. As he sped along, he reflexively tested Arcanis' ring. It still didn't work... how fortunate. Things were going exactly according to his already formed plans.
