Kaede: The Musical

God this was going to suck. Kaede could tell from the three times he had to make this god damn trip. And it surely wouldn't get any easy the more often he did it. It kind of sucked how he had to travel so far to get here, it was a nice enough place after all. As he trudged through the snow he began to think of songs in his head to sing to pass the time. He had been walking for what felt like hours, even though it was likely only a few days. It was a rather cloudy day today, the sun being masked by the white fluffy cotton balls in the air. Kaede took a deep breath and began to sing softly to himself, "From the day we arrive on the planet." Yes, a good enough start. Now what should he continue with. It was as he pondered this the clouds dispersed as if by an act of god, the light from the sun streaming down upon Kaede. He squinted as the harsh sun light barraged his sight and spoke the next line. "And blinking, step into the sun." Stepping past a snow mound, the sun once more was hidden. Kaede's view became clear once more, and he caught sight of the breathtaking snowy mountains within the distance. "There's more to see than can ever be seen." Kaede took a moment to think over that line. In a way it was true, after all the universe was a vast thing. What a meaningful line it was. He should take up song writing full time. "More to find than can ever be found, oh a penny!" Kaede bent down, picking up the small bronze coin in his hand and pocketing it. It seemed that the power of writing had made is to that happened, how lucky for him. "But the sun rolling high." Okay that one made no sense to Kaede, it really just served as filler. "Through the sapphire sky. Keeps great and small on the endless round."

"It's the circle of liiiiffeeee
And it moves us allllll
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwindiiing

And then he sung the chorus again and continued onward toward the islands of Shimagakure.
