finally taking responsibility(P team MN)

Youka stayed in his kneeling, almost groveling position with his head buried in the snow as the full weight of murdering a friend was pushing him down mentally time and time again. He had taken her life simply to fulfill some unspoken code of once a snitch always a snitch. He had no words for himself and loathed his very being as he processed all of this information.

Maku was handling his pain in different ways and all of them were full of rage. The air around them was no longer cold and frigid beating on their bodies trying to kill them instantly. It was now muggy and dry and all the oxygen seemed to burn away in Maku's rage of igniting the skies in crimson fire. Youka didn't know how to console Maku or even if he should, there was nothing to be said, they both had a hand in murdering their one true friend and the finality of it all was like something out of a deep thriller book.

Looking at her heart he slowly clutched it in hie left hand as it took a few more soft beats in his hand before he used his earth grudge fear ability on the heart covering it in black threads over and over. Once he was done he removed the top half of his armor and pushed the heart into his chest quickly reconnecting the threads to more threads and allowing the heart to feed off of his chakra network. It was as if she lived in him now and through her heart he would be given a new life, first the beats were low and slow then they picked up pace as more blood pumped through the organ till the heart was beating on par with his other three.

After he finished his sharingan  began to swirl and burn tremendously as if he had been staring into the sun or someone dumped sand in his eyes. Using both his hands to  cover them up as if that would stop the pain he began rubbing them vigorously as tears still flowed freely from them. This was his god taking punishment on him for what he had done and would now take away his eye sight for committing this sin. It seemed that Maku was going through the same thing he was as his screams echoed out just before his. Could this have been Kira's last stand a toxin in the air on her death that would render them blind for the rest of their lives, even in death she was still planing moves ahead.

The burning subsided and it no longer felt like his eyes were spinning in his head, turning his mask over to look into the reflective material he needed to see what happened and what was done to his eyes. When he saw it he didn't know what it meant or why it happened and he looked towards Maku for any help in understanding. It was at this time that he saw Maku doing the exact same thing except he was looking in a puddle of water.

"Maku, what is this"

He would look at his friend with new eyes but the same conflicted face of emotions.

"I....I don't know.  Something is different, something has changed.  Everything is slower, I see better.  It reminds me of what Echo and Hikarishi had, only not as patterned as theirs.  I would like to ask Echo, but I am unsure how he is going to take what we have done."  Maku was starting to get a handle on his emotions, and had begun to push them down, and hide them away inside.  "We....we should get back to the village.  We can plan everything there."  He would move to help his friend up.  His eyes still burned, and already the rain was transferring back to snow.  

"Youka, I won't let something like this happen again.  Time, is something no one can control. Until now."  His statement was foreboding for what he planned to do.  As Kira had died, so had the little love Maku had for the world.  He had always never had emotions in the same way as others.  It was the reason he ahd considered himself all this time, to be just as much of a monster as Youka.  Youka had all rage and fire, but inside of Maku there was simply an abyss, filled with nothingness.  That abyss now stared back into him, and began the creation of a monster.  Maku had already been studying how to make illusion into realty and had made a dead end.  However, he now had a new goal.  Time....he would make it his weapon, and through time his enemies would die before they ever knew that they were indeed the enemies to Maku Jemuzu.  Kira's death had meant the end of an innocence that Maku had been harboring, and now in its place the monster began to reach forth to extract itself.

Inside his soul a battle had already begun.  The need to stay loyal to Echo, the man he so respected and had given him the tools to forge his destiny, and the desire to go after his own wants.  Every emotion he pushed down, fed the monster within.  It gorged itself in a pit of gluttony on the pain and hatred that Maku felt for himself.  Blinking, he deactivated the Sharingan, only to find it was in the 3 tomoe state.  Blinking again he could feel it fully deactivate.  The monster roared, and Maku smiled.  A twinkle was in his eye, not from the dojutsu but form a separate conscious that seemed to wake up.  A laugh was in Maku's head, a catchy chuckle, of a jester laughing at his own great jest.  The coming days were indeed going to be one hell of a game.

Youka was out of words to say and just wanted to leave this area to regain composure and his mental state. Listening to Maku without actually answering him he stood and followed his friend, something was off though in his mind, the whistling of the care free had stopped and the constant rattle of a cup banging on bars was heard in his mind. What was this feeling, could something be waking up again, he prayed it wasn't who he thought it was but at the same time, he almost welcomed it now. He could also see the change in Maku his demeanor changed and shifted to that of a more serious nature as if a death hadn't just happened. Little did they know, their futures were already writing themselves from this moment forward
