Learning from a shadow

It was another cold morning in yuki. She had set out understand exactly how the girl in her dreams was able to control the flow of water. A hand slid into the bag at her side, searching slowly as she played back the memories of the night before until her fingertips brushed against one of the three bottles of water. She drew it out, removing the cap slowly before lifting it to be held on both hands. "How...How did she do this?" concentrating on the water she flowed chakra into the bottle to mix it in with the clear liquid, turning it a light blue that glowed slightly. Focusing her energy she called out to the water filled with her chakra in the same way she manipulated her shadows. Closing her eyes she attempted to swirl and spin the water, though it had no effect right away. As she focused she imagined the chakra within beginging to sword to form a small vortex in the center of the bottle. The meniscus began to shudder just slightly. Sweat poured down her brow form the force of contol it took to move the water, a feat she had yet to accomplish or even consider before today. "Move...Move...Come on...." ripples began to pulse from the water, starting with just a single wave in the top of the bottle every twenty seconds. the speed became more rapid, though it wasn't apparent until they were coming in increments of ten seconds. 

    "Holy shit...I'm doing it. My chakra is actually moving the water." She was more excited for this small feat then anything she could remember. It had been a long time since her hard work had shown signs of improvement to this degree. It brought her back to the days when she was first starting, training with maku and any one else who would assist her. The day she was able to see his movements was a mile stone for the young girl, and as she thought about it the more rapidly the water began to pulse. She recalled getting her first hit on maku, a glance or so, but proof that she could actually one day compete. It marked what she thought was the end of her time as a weak child in their care and the begining of her ability to be of use to the team. The water now seemed to be at a rolling boil, the surface moving rapidly as if it was heated and rising up the neck of the bottle around a centimeter. "Alright. So I can move it.....But how did she...." She put a hand atop the open  hole where the water poured out, concentrating her chakra to try and lift the water from the bottle. The top portion of the seemingly boiling water slowly began to hop upwards toward her hand only slightly to reach out in hopes of brushing against her skin though it barely missed on each tiny hop. She smiled and as she did the water finally reached her palm, clutching onto her skin only to fall back to the opening of the bottle in a small droplet.

Yorice was taking a stroll in the village, dressed in his short sleeve, blue shirt to match his eyes, and his black pants matching his hair, which seemed to fall around his head nicely today, a few strays about, but thats how he liked his hair, he had his hands in his pockets, he kicked at the snow on the ground, the flakes falling all around him, he let out a deep breath a bunch of hot air come out, creating a mist instantly, the walk helped to take his mind off his past, even though he knew his bloodline, he didnt have to like it, he would fight his flashbacks of his uncle to keep his power at bay, and the headband around his neck seemed to help, his skin was of fair complextion, and the weather didnt phase him one bit, as he was used to it by now, Ice was his nickname do to the cold shoulder he gave everyone since the academy days, and today was a day he was living up to his name, as Ice walked he didnt care who he bumped into or what happened.

All of a sudden Ice bumped into a girl, one who was doing her own thing, but he wasnt paying attention to where he was walking, he looked at her and shruged his shoulders and spoke with a collective cool voice "You should watch where you train" not even really knowing where he was walking, today he just walked, and he began to walk away from the girl then before rounding a corner he took a moment to look back at her and note her beauty, but ice shook the thoughts from his head and reminded himself Dont get close to anyone, that is always your best bet, for them and for you, and then he spun back around to keep his stroll going

"Um......I'm sorry?" this new boy had showed up, surprisingly without Kira noticing because she was so caught up in the practice of her justu. She hoped that she had mistaken the comment as more innocent then a rude statement directed towards one of the vigilant protectors of Yukigakure. 

    "I'm kinda in the middle of the country borders away from everyone and everything....Perhaps you should um....pay more attention to where you walk?" her confidence wavered for a moment as she considered the chance that she had jumped to a conclusion about the whole situation. Surely her lack of interaction with people had lead her to mistake the contex clues, she thought or more so hoped.

Ice stops before he started walking as she spoke and then looked around, and sure enough he was at the borders, wonder how I snuck past the village gates, then Ice looked back at her and spoke "Guess I was daydreaming to much while walking, I am sorry,...." is is stunned at the moment as he watches a small flurry begin, and he would look into the girls eyes, stunned by her beauty and then he finished his sentance " May I ask your name? I am called Ice, dont worry about the rest of it, i never do" Ice walked back towards her, ignoreing all warnings he was receiving in his head, the only thing breaking his gaze on her was the occasional blinking he had to do

"Oh....I'm Kiranomo. " she turned completely to face the boy, her headband blown up slightly by a gust of wind to make the hidden rain headband around her neck clearly visible and more so the long slash through the symbol indicating she was a missing ninja. "Um...It's not really a good idea to go walking around outside of the village. You could get hurt. " In her mind a voice began to chuckle softly. Selene found it incredibly entertaining how the subtle actions could be lost on the girl. The combination of her headband and the comment which would normally seem like helpful words of protection could easilly mistaken as suggestion that she would attack the boy, though any who she had met in the village would know otherwise. She watched the interaction to see if Ice caught it and if kira would realize.

Ice heard her words and would nod and spoke to her coolly "I know, seems the gate guards didnt see me or just didnt do their job, so whats a girl like you doing in a place like this?" He had noticed her headband but didnt care, his headband was blown against his neck and his hidden snow village symbol showed, even though she most likely already knew where he came from, he tilted his head and shook it vigurously to see if he was seeing things, and when she was still there, he assumed he passed out in the cold for some reason "Is this a dream or something?"

"Why would it be a dream?" She rose her hand at her side, pointing one finger out and as it did the water that had once been housed within the bottle began to funnel out slowly. It sat against her finger for several moments in a perfect ball before she spun her finger twice, causing the water to turn and shift it's shape into a rose before floating up and back to slide behind her ear. 

   "Um....Why would this be a dream?" She gave him a puzzled look. he was definitely a strange one she thought to herself as the small closed rose was made to bloom full and open against her coal black hair. She was more then entertained by the actions her jutsu were causing, partially because of the girl was naturally easilly amused and partially because this was the first time she had actually manipulated the water.

Ice's attention when to her hand as it moved, he was still a little jumpy, but as he watched she was not moving in a threatening manner he would calm back down and look back at her and blushed a little and shook his head speaking with a little more broken voice "no....No reason" then as we watched the rose bloom in its fullest, he looked back at her, "Um Would you be willing to teach me how you do that?, I know some stuff, but for whatever reason I cant use them, I get part way through and pass out" He had already figured it was due to low chakra, but he wasnt passing up a chance to get closer to this beautiful girl

The comment was strange, she thought, but she was only half paying attention and so she allowed it to be let go. The rose shifted forms now to look like a lilly and with a single hand sign the lilly seemed to come to life. A splash of color hit the center of the flower that was clearly made of light blue water that looked similar to pain dripped into a rinse cup but after a moment the color flowed through the flower making it look realistic though still slightly transparent. 

    "I would love to...However I'm not really sure how I did it myself. It's a jutsu called water heaven's convergence and it sorta just came to me in a dream. I was fighting this girl who controled water naturally like I control the shadows. " The lilly spun slowly clockwise, it's petals flexing slightly in a beautiful display of control over her element. It continued through the convorsation for a bit stopping as she finished speaking. 

      "it sounds to me like your issue is lack of chakra and you just need some training. I could train with you if you'd like. I train all of the genin in the village for Maku."
