She headed out of the room of the Inn Maku had provided to her, bag on her shoulder and still struggling to put her hair up into her pony tail. She was late, which didn’t really matter considering she was simply helping out, but punctuality was still something she held in high regaurd. Of course if you asked Maku or youka about that fact they would disagree since she was the last to show on most of the mission they had done as missing ninja in Iwa, but still she rushed down the street towards the academy anyway. She entered the doorway, thinking through exactly what she would show them. She could do the basic jutus, she thought to herself, but the issue was her substitution as usual. She wished she could understand why the substitution jutsu just seemed to be impossible with her. It was always a fear point to be asked to prove herself as a Genin because of some issue she had always had with what should have been a simple situation.

She walked into the building, heading towards the room she knew she would be teaching in, and gave the instructor an apreciative nod. “Everyone, This is Kiranomo. She will be doing a bit of a demonstration for you today. “ Her heart lept into her chest as the man spoke. She walked into the front of the class, nodding to them before adressing the class.

“Hi! So...um….I’m kira….and um……” She was cut off as the voice slipped into her mind. Sorrow whispered a single calming statement into her mind, and she drew a long breath in and out allowing Selene to take care of what she couldn’t

“Together…” She spoke as Kira drew breath and finally she began. “And here’s a little bit of what you can do if you train really hard and train. “ The shadow circle formed at her feet and a large blunted shadow tendril rushed up, directly under her feet. She was vaulted upwards at the shadow’s max speed, and after about two feet she flipped backwards, changing the momentum from upwards to sideways. She turned in the air to set her body in a way that her feet would touch down against the wall a short distance away. She immediately activated the surface walking technique to catch herself, hanging from the wall itself as two more shadow tendrils rose out to attack her. She kicked off of the wall towards the tendril which made a wicked sharp point aimed at her torso and matching her speed, and it was then that the demon took over. Her hands clapped together and her body disappeared. The substitution technique was activated and the shadows pierced through a veil of water which fell harmlessly to the gound below her. Kira however was sitting in an empty seat in the middle of the class room, now surounded by excited and interesting academy students begging her to explain how she had done that. After a few minutes she appologized saying she needed to head off and went to collect her money.
