Another Training Session

Lea would walk into the training grounds again, smiling and ready to break a sweat. Last time he was here he'd met Anko, maybe he'd meet someone new again this time. 'Best way to know someone', Lea thought, 'was to trade punches'. He would look look around the training grounds a bit while stretching.

[OOC: You might want to put a P next to the topic title. Don't want people to intrude. xD]

As usual Raijin strolled through the training grounds, looking to work hard today. During his walk he spotted another boy. Just how many kids come down here to train? [i]'Hey! Maybe I can get something going? Like a spar or something!' He approached the kid with a friendly smile. "Hey! What's up?"

Lea would stop his stretching as another person approached him. He grinned but tried to hide it quickly. 
"Hi. Just, ya know, stretching before training. I'm Leander." Lea introduced himself politely, hoping the other boy would suggest training together or a spar. He looked him over. He looked younger than Lea which really took him by surprise.

"Leander, what a name! So you were about train huh? Sounds good." Raijin didn't want to be a bother or anything but he couldn't help himself from proposing the idea of a spar. A friendly spar between the two would be a great way to test his abilities and skill in battle. That was something Raijin needed. "Hey! How about we have a friendly spar! We can get some good exercise in from that and test our own abilities! What do you say Leander?"

Lea's grin faded a little thinking the boy was just saying 'hi' and then would walk away. But then he suggested a friendly spar, Lea grinned again. 
"If I win will you introduce yourself?" Lea asked with a small chuckle. He had noticed that the boy hadn't given him his name. 'Maybe I shouldn't have given mine out so quickly?' Lea pondered to himself. 
"A Spar sounds great." Lea announced and switched his positioning around slightly, trying to mimic Anko's guard from Lea's last spar, putting his arms up to block his face but still being able to see his opponent. 
"Whenever you're ready"

At that moment Raijin had realized that he did not introduce himself; how rude of the boy to do so. Since it was too late to tell him his name he'd go with the deal. "Hmm. Sounds good to me! I'll let you know if you defeat me." He gave Leander a thumbs up and walked away, making some distance in order to prepare himself. Raijin examined the stance that he took and decided to go with his own. Jeet Kune Do was going to be his fighting style for this spar. "Okay Leander! I'm ready!" How excited the boy was! This was going to be his first spar after graduating from the Academy! 'This is going to be pretty fun! I know it!'

Lea nodded when the boy said he was ready. 'What is going to be my first move' Lea thought, considering everything that failed in his last spar, it being the only experience he had to draw from. After a few seconds of consideration, Lea sprung into action. He dashed the short distance that the boy had walked away and faked a right punch. He used the momentum of the swing to swing his whole body and he dropped down, sweeping his left leg at his opponents ankles. He intended to trip his opponent but was also trying to think ahead what he would do if his attack was dodged or blocked.

Raijin patiently waited for his sparring partner to make the first move. Exactly how would Leander attack him? All of the sudden he charged at him; the distance between the two was closing too quickly. Dang, he was fast! 'I suppose a frog jump can fend his attack off. I think I'll just go with that.' When Leander cocked his arm back for a punch Raijin quickly jumped into the air, performing a back-flip. While doing so his legs would kick out at Leander. But wait! Leander didn't go through with a punch! Leander had dropped down to the floor to attempt a sweep kick! 'So he was trying to fake me and transition into a low attack! Nice!' During his aerial performance he watched Leander attempt his sweep kick, missing. Once Raijin's body had completed the flip he'd come down with a stomp onto Leander, who was not beneath him. 'Let's see how he dodges this.'

[OOC: Yeah. Sorry, I'm using a phone. Lol]

The frog jump Raijin's first attack; it also set up a stomp attack. If the stomp was carried out it would have done quite some damage to the leg below. But it didn't. Leander pulled his leg in and with the other pushed off of the floor to cuff Raijin's foot with his hands. 'Whoa! So he managed to catch my foot and support my weight? Well done!' Raijin grinned; this was going to get better and better! With his free foot he kicked at Leander's arms, hoping to take out the support. At the same time, with the foot being held, he pushed off. "That was pretty good Leander!" After jumping back and spacing himself out he lunged forward for a quick jab to Leander's rib. He'd be ready to quickly react to a counter or block. Both of these boys were going to have to give their all in this duel. "Here I come!"
