D-ranked Mission: Thief in the village

It was the dead of night and Hirako was wide awake with the ever watchful moon overhead the small village of Sunagakure felt serene and untouched. The moonlight blanketed the sand blasted buildings in a eerie bluish light. It was midnight the witching hour of ghosts and ghouls a like. However, Hirako was after one ghoul in particular who had been stealing various items from the villagers of Sunagkure. The task fell to Hirako alone to find the thief. It was not a rather high class thief, but Hirako figured it was better than nothing, right? He was now on a roof overlooking a prime target: a jewelry store.

From his vantage point Hirako could see all that went on and a moving shadow caught his eye. How odd. Most of the village was asleep, so anyone moving around was rather suspicious. Taking action Hirako jumped down from the roof with a swift movement. He then landed soundlessly on the ground and made his way towards the shadow. Moving quietly he angled around, so that he would end up behind the source of the shadow, but he was stopped while doing so by the sound of breaking glass. Throwing stealth to the wind Hirako ran as fast as he could to the source of the sound. He found the source in a heartbeat: the broken glass of the jewelry store. Spotting the figure inside Hirako sprang through the hole in the glass. Hirako quickly apprehended the intruder and tied him up with a handy rope. Not wanting to carry the man around he chose to leave him here for the authorities to find later. For now he would simply report that his mission was complete. Leaving the store Hirako ran right for home. He had finished yet another mission and was one step closer to getting his dream puppet.
