'What the hell do you want?' He finally heard from the boy, though he was speaking under his breath, Kino heard the words. "You said you were a mercenary early in the battle, I believe. It was apart of your 'rap' as you called it," Kino said, beginning to look at the boy. "I am requesting something for you to do, in exchange for your life." He said. "Find the ones who destroyed Kirigakure. Do not fight them, do not kill any of them. That is my privilege." Kino said, and then jumped on the ground. "Return here within a week, regardless of what you've found. If you have found nothing, return here anyways, in a week." He said, as he began to walk off. A moment after he began he turned around, looking at the boy. "Do you have any questions?"

"In exchange for my life? I'm no one's slave." He mumbled under his breath as he sighed. HE heard what the man had said as he raised an eyebrow. "So, you just want me to investigate? For free?" He asked as he stood up and started to stretch. "What if I don't show up? What I just refuse to do what you ask?" He asked as he continued to stretch and he patted his body and felt his pocket was empty. "What the hell...where is my ryo?" He asked out loud as he looked at him. "Dude, give me my cash back!"

'In exchange for my life? I'm no one's slave.' Kino sighed. "That's not exactly what I mean. I mean, if you do this for me, I wont kill you right now. Simply find who destroyed Kirigakure and I'll let you be off." Kino said, looking at the boy. He had a feeling he knew which village, or who, was responsible due to rumors, though wasn't too positive. 'What if I refuse to do what you ask?' The boy asked, and Kino sighed. "Nothing, really. Though being a mercenary I wouldn't think you would be afraid to take such a simple job." Kino said, and looked at the boy. "I'll pay you half of what I took from you. If you want to take the job, do so, it is nothing I can't handle after I've finished with my current tasks." Kino said, then looked at the boy and waited for a reply.

"No, you will give me all of my Ryo back." He said looking at him as he crossed his arms and glared straight at him. "I'm not scared. I'll do the damn job but I better get ALL of my money back." He said as he punched his fists together and stood up straight awaiting his reply to his conditions for the mission.

He heard the boy demanding all his money back. "No, half. I have another job where you can earn the other half from." Kino said, "Remember, meet back here within a week." Kino said, moving back to Konohagakure. Today had proved itself it wasn't so worthless to travel out of the borders.
