Hokage Monument (C-rank) Empty Hokage Monument (C-rank)

((http://naruto-role-play-rpg.forumotion.com/t9413-any-c-ranka-new-era <<< Diss))

After his pity day of training, he decided to drop the the Hokage office to pick up a mission. A simple C-rank to bring in some income for himself and to purchase some new gear. Namakemono donned his regular attire which consisted of blue sandals on
his feet which were commonly worn. His legs he wore a pair of loosely
fitted black pants with a holster strapped to his right thigh. Around
his waist was nothing special but the hip pouch suspended around to his
rear. He wore a mesh shirt under thee long sleeved black shirt, in which
that was under the Flak jacket of Konoha. On each shoulder he bared a
metal plate with the Konoha symbol on each one. At last, he wore a pair
of fingerless gloves with metal plates on the back of each hand and the
forehead protector, in a slanted fashion turned to the side.

There it was, the mountain range where the Hokage's face were to get ingraved which would last however long the village does. He stepped across the cobble stone path leading to the giant rocky range. There were a few people there, mainly construction workers. This is where they handed Namakemono a hammer and chisel. One of the workers announced the Namakemono.

"We already get the base done, the details are for you."

"Alright then, I got this. Go take a breather, you guys really earned it"

Namakemono said, giving a smile with his thumbs up. The guy just saluted the man and left. Upon his departure and the other people leaving, he lost his confidence. Why do they leave me with the tedious work... Namakemono checked his cheek in a slight disapointment. He didn't have a problem with working with small detail, it was just time consuming for him to do. Namakemono stared at the face, it seemed fine for now, all he needed to work on is the construction of the hair, eyes, and basic stuff like that. However, this mission was difficult because of the risk factor of messing up, which is a very bad mistake. He needed patience and control in order to do this, as well is fine coordination. He didn't waste any more time standing around, so he started his way up the ramp way they had set up for the face.

Up the long ramp, following the coils and turns, he finally made it to the top, the hair. Taking a sheet from his hip pouch, he examined the sketch of the Hokage, his hair was rather easy to sculpt. Getting to work, Namakemono gripped the chisel and hammer, positioning the chisel in place, where Namakemono lightly tapped the base of the handle, knocking down debris of rock and earth. Using chakra on his feet, he took position on the face and used that to get down the strands of hair. Slowly descending himself, he dragged the chisel with power from the hammer to detail the hair. After he reached the end, he simply made his way back up and strafed to the left a bit to get that side. This is gonna take a while

After an hour or work, the hair seemed in fine detail. That was done, but now he had to get his eye detail done, which was a simple sculpture since it was nearly done already, he just needed to add some detail. Descending down, he met with his right eye first. Crafting the eye lid and brows, that side was done already. He simply had to repeat the same actions with the next eye which resembled the first one he did. Scooting over, he chiseled the same things he done before, knocking away the rocks and dirt to form a rather well resemblance. Moving down to the nose, he had a round bulb to work with. The Hokage's nose way rather curved slightly and smooth. Using the chisel, Namakemono began breaking away chunks of rock away to give a better base to work with.

Removing a few odd lumps with the nose and giving a small inside of the nostrils, he finally completed the look. There was only two more things left to sculpt up, one was the mouth, and the last was chin. Stepping down lower to the mouth, he started to scrape away some left overs on the lip and gave a small crevice for the mouth. Strafing to the right, he dragged the chisel, constantly tapping the base to dig into the rock formation. Finally after scarping the mouth, he was left with the chin to finish up. Namakemono slowly descended down to the chin where he was left with minor detail. Making the edges smooth and the chin not so pointy and sharp by crafting off some unwanted detail, he was finally finish after hours of difficult work.

Namakemono dropped from the face and descended to the ground, where he used chakra to cushion the impact, kicking up dirt and spreading rock from the formation. Landing on the ground, he leaped back a few meters to get a base look at the sculpture. He realized after this examination, he forgot one very thing, something very detailed. The ears were left blank without any work, the rest seemed fine. Focusing a chakra amount of the soles of his sandals, he was granted the ability to walk on the very walls themselves. Using this, he leaned forward with his arms flailing behind taking off at full speed in a classic, common Shinobi sprint. From his speed he had, he made it up the mountain rather fast, tearing up the stone giant. Making his way up the mountain face, he finally met face to face with the current sculpture he was working on. He simply started to arc to the left making his way up the face, turning to the side to meet with the first ear.

The ear was difficult because of the small details required to put into, even though it seems no important, it plays a heavy role in the appearance of a man. Tapping away some rock, Namakemono mined away the ore and cleared out some space where he hollowed out the inside of the ear to make it look realistic. Starting with the top of course, he made the small den, making sure to give it fine detail and clean out the insides. Making down from all the detail put into it, he was done, scraping the lobe. Now moving over to the right ear, Namakemono got the chisel and cleared out the insides the same way he did before, making the den and smoothing the stone out for fine detail. He finally finished the last piece of the art, forehead was moist and cheeks were dripping with sweat from the hot Konoha sun. Returning the tools to the workers, he was given the okay to leave, making his way to the Hokage's office to get his pay. Making his way done the stone road, he was gone.
