Important Delivery

His body was still sore the explosions back in the Valley of the End. Bruises littered his body, but he still walked tall and proud. After just barely escaping the previous mission with his life, he was actually glad to be back in his village. Though he was home, he still had work to do. Though he was able to find Orochimaru’s hidden laboratory, escaping it proved to be more difficult than expected. Inside he encountered old traps, strange creatures, and eventually was able to find research notes written by Orochimaru himself about some of his most infamous techniques. Whoever had the notes would have access to amazing power. With Kirigakure having the notes, they would be able have the edge over the other villages. In times like these, having the advantage meant having power.

Never personally meeting the newest Mizukage before, Kankuro wondered what kind of ninja he was while walking into his chambers. With the notes in his right hand, the young boy admired the chambers. His eyes darted from one thing to the next, not seeing where the Mizukage just yet.

“Hello?” he questioned, showing annoyance in his voice. “Mizukage, are you here?”

"of course I am." Of course, there was no one on the little bone throne that Psychosis had made, but the voice came from that area, only... up. Psychosis was sitting on the ceiling smirking. "What can I do for you, Kankuro?" He wondered whether he had finished the mission or it was too much for him. "did you find anything worthwhile, my gennin?"

The sound of the Kage's voice seemed to surprise Kakuro as he looked towards the ceiling. A slight shiver ran down his spine, watching the Kage clenching to the roof. He wondered just who this man was, ut the fact that he was the Mizukage was all the incentive Kankuro needd to obey.Pushing his feelings down, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the folded up packet of paper.

"The mission was a success," he said with confident while waving the paper around. "The lab was full of notes, but was destroyed by a trap. I was able to find notes on Orochimaru's techniques before escaping the blast."

Psychosis smirked. "wonderful. Your reward will be... the ultimate body, or the ultimate eye, your choice" Psychosis was obviously hinting at his ability to give bloodlines, such as Kaguya and sharingan. He grabbed the paper. "They will certainly be worth such an accomplishment"

The boy's eyes grew with excitement and wonder for a moment. Rumors had told of the Mizukage's ability to transfer bloodline traits, but of course Kankuro merely thought they were rumors. Clearly he was being proven wrong. The answer was already decided in the young ninja's mind.

"I want the ultimate body," he said with clear confidence in his voice. With this new power he would be able to accomplish great things, spreading his name all over the ninja world.

Psychosis placed his hand on Kankuro's head. It was a simple affair to give him the shikotsumyaku, and it was done so with ease. DNA Replication was fairly easy once you got the main idea of it. "you did good, I hope I can count on you again if I need anything."

It was just that simple. In a matter of moments Kankuro was able to acquire the shikotsumyaku ablity. Just how power was the Mizukage to be able to give power away like it was nothing. Something told Kankuro that he was going to enjoy have Psychosis as Kirigakure's Mizukage. "Thank you. You can always count on me, sir."With that, Kankuro turned away, leaving to train in his new power.
