A Warm Welcome

After a rather lucky encounter with the Mizukage, Junko would approach with him at her side. During the walk to the gates, Junko attempted to keep up a pleasant conversation as she got to know the man. If he had accepted her arm previously, she would have hers wrapped around his if he allowed it. Though if not, she would be roughly an arm's length away as they strolled down the recently put-together road that led to the village entrance. Admittedly she was having a rather good time, though she was nervous at first, he was proving to be rather charming. It had gotten rather late at this point as the moon now rose in the sky. Various bioluminescent plants and bugs could now be seen clearly as the island fell into the loving embrace of night.

During the day, the gates recently had been bustling with people from all walks of life, however now it was seemingly empty. As usual, a few guards were patrolling the area and quickly they detected her presence since they weren’t attempting to hide their approach. She’d stop speaking as she lovingly admired the meticulous craftsmanship of the gates. To her, it was a beautiful sight. Something she had been planning for so long, was now finally her reality and she couldn’t be happier with how everything had turned out.

She felt a sense of pride as she gazed at the beautifully carved etchings on the gateposts. Various lanterns and candles that illuminated the entrance could be seen leading into the village itself. Soon they would draw closer to the entrance and Junko would offer a polite wave to any guard who looked her way. Once they realized who she was, they’d offer her a respectful bow and allow her to enter unimpeded.

Junko then turned her head to look over at Akabayashi, hoping that he at least seemed like he was enjoying himself. If he made eye contact, she’d offer him a welcoming smile before speaking up in an excited and inviting tone.

”Let me be the first to welcome you to Tsukigakure, Lord Mizukage. I do hope you find the village to your liking, and please if you have any questions or suggestions, I’m all ears. Is there anything specific you’d like to see first? Though if you’re feeling tired from your travels I completely understand if you’d like to rest for the time being.”

She’d mention a few of the more popular spots in the village, hoping something would pique his interest. If he wished to continue spending time with her Junko would begin leading him to wherever he requested. However, if he wished to rest, she would offer him and his bodyguard each a room at the Kage Tower. Since she knew she would be spending most of her time within the tower, she had a few luxurious bedrooms installed. Regardless of his decision, Junko would happily oblige, and then lead him to whichever destination he requested.

Entering Tsukigakure

Akabayashi would of course walk arm and arm with the lady. He was actually surprised a village had been put up so quickly. The conversation seemed like the plan was to build a village in this country, not one already existing. It was a good strategy to not let people know one existed until you were aware of their intent. He had to give her credit for that.

The gates themselves were a work of art, nothing like the plain walls of Kiri which had one evident purpose. To keep people out. The walk toward them had been well lit. The guard did not stop them, which was noted. He would have to warn her that people could disguise themselves as her and enter if they did not use some form of identification other than sight.

"It is quite lovely." He would say looking at her while turning his head. "I would like to go to a place you would enjoy. The night has just begun, we can get to know eachother more before going to sleep. I recall you had an interest in fuinjutsu. I can show you today or tomorrow how to perform them."
