Okisho finally arrived to the arena, his anticipation matching that of the day he first discovered the flyer about the prestigious event; complete awe. He couldn't help but place himself the shoes of the past participants. His pace towards the arced entrance remained the same, despite the acknowledging the fact that he had finally made it. A chance to to excel, to fight for those who had done the same. It was his nindo. It was what got him out of bed. And it was what got him here. Okisho, looking behind, taking one last glance of the long road behind him, took a moment as he reveled; he was seen taking in the great determination and strife of the past. The vivid memories of the past came flooding in, one after another he was buffed with the rewards of both victory and failure. To reap the rewards of hard work, and to experience the wisdom not succeeding the first go around.

Such progress, such a chapter in his life he would never forget. However, now was a whole different ballgame. The question however was simple. Would be up to the task?

Swinging back around towards the arced entrance, he casually pressed his right palm against the door. It swings open to reveal clusters of shinobi gathered for today's prestigious event. Amongst the crowd, Okisho already spotted some familiar faces.

As for attire, his clothing would be slightly different for the Chuunin exams. Okisho is seen wearing a simple all dark navy blue long sleeve shirt, with a high collar; similar to what most Uchiha wore. To add, he wore a pair of dark grey slacks which stop at the top of his ankles. A single wide ninja pouch concealed underneath his shirt, but never hindering him from accessing the contents. The pouch his attached to his black leather belt, fastened on the back center position of his waist. His dark navy shoes are standard issued shinobi editions, revealing his toes and back ankles. His shinobi headband is tied tight against his forehead, but not so much to cause any discomfort. Aside from his headband, he bore no symbols of clan crest at all.

Scanning the area, his eyes meet a familiar set of violet eyes to which he was well aware of. "Nokino...", he said under his breath. She was still so tall, he smirked at the thought as he continued to scan the room. Finally, he picks out the rest of team 212. Tenshi and Himari were here as well, as expected. The work these two put in, training and developing was almost second to none. He'd be lying if he didn't want to see these two go at it. Sensei Onabi would be very proud of us, for making it this far at least.

Nevertheless, he remains as he would and listens to the information given out by both the Hokage and the deputy. Both, to which he had never seen in person before, aside from the Hokage Rock monument.

One of the last to arrive, but not late, was Mikina Viperis.

Into the fray, she'd walk confidently. There was a stride and manner about her step which naturally exuded not only grace, but somewhat of a feeling of arrogance too. There wasn't necessarily an assured victory, nor was that the reasoning behind her current emotions. She just knew it was bound to be a good time. With a name such as these, well, it was right up the Copperhead of Konoha's alleyway to say the least, so she was beyond enthused. Still, being one of the last to arrive, she'd be at least kind enough to stay in the back. She wouldn't barge on up through the crowd, that was never really Mikina's style. The kunoichi much preferred being unnoticed as much as possible, unless the time called for otherwise.

Now...well, now was not one of those times. Not in front of the Kage and literally at least half the village. Not on this day, at least.

Nevertheless, there she'd stand and listen as all those who would be speaking for this commencement ceremony went through all of what they had to say. It all sounded rather standard and procedure. Made Miki almost wonder if there would be any kind of twists or surprises thrown into the mix at any point throughout the entirety of the event. To be quite honest, she was rather hoping for something to make the games more interesting and raise the stacks during them. Was only a matter of time at this point, for that was the only thing which would be able to tell in this situation.

A late addition to the roster of the Culling Games, Hiroya Hatake casually strolled into the Inferno Arena. A place made shortly after his father took over to give the shinobi of the village a place to fight to their hearts content without the fear of death. He had heard quite a bit about this area and had planned on seeing it in person when he got some time but he had been quite busy with other assignments to say the least. Regardless he was here now and he was surprisingly not to late to miss the grand speeches the higher of the village gave. Everything was pretty on par for what he expected from his father and his subordinates and with the end of the announcement he had some free time to scan the people here and get a feel on who he would be fighting against. He saw his brother here and a lot of others that weren’t really people he knew about besides that young Hyuuga woman he had gone on some missions with.

The brazen response the Hokage had after Goto had finished speaking was... interesting, too say the least. Forgoing years of tradition at the drop of a hat, she could respect it, she wasn't fond of her own clans traditions so a change of pace was incredibly interesting, purely combat, hm, well given her current training level she could only hope she was capable of defeating the other combatants here, though she highly doubted her skill level she slowly glanced around, after seeing the Hokage and... Her, leave. She felt oddly safer now that they weren't in view. Perhaps they simply had a aura that effects how you feel, it wouldn't be the first time she's seen such, but now she could only assume that they'd be waiting for their pairings, likely it would be on a screen of some kind littered around the Arena, would they be doing this today, it was the day it was supposed too start but with this new and sudden decision really only the Hokage could know what was about too happen.
